Great house and amazing location!

This house definitely exceeded our expectations! It was very clean and had all updated amenities. There was plenty of space for 6 adult friends to enjoy time together, and apart (when a nap or quiet time was needed.) It was very close to the beach which made it easy to come back and forth for lunch or breaks from the sun. We are already looking forward to our trip back!

Great location with a host who made thought of everything.

We absolutely loved our time at this house! The home had plenty of space for all of us and the furnishings/appliances were in great condition. The proximity to the beach was absolutely fantastic. Not only that, the house was well stocked with little things like ziplock bags and wares that allowed the space to feel like home. We’d love nothing more than to stay here again!

Back to the future

Perfect location for a beach getaway. Very convenient to walk to the beach, go back for lunch and be able to enjoy a full beach day. The house is very clean and comfortable, the hosts were very responsive to questions and we enjoyed our stay very much. Will absolutely be going back next year!

Lovely!

Perfect for our week long summer vacation with another family. There were a total of 4 adults and two kids around 13. We made some great memories playing games at the dining room table and enjoying the back deck. Well kept home with beautiful updated kitchen and bathrooms. 4 min walk to the beach. Although it was very seaweedy there is a fun river you can float on as well as places to find creatures and explore. My only sort of negative comment is the attached 2nd rental. The folks who were staying there were very nice but you do have to share the outdoor shower. The other outdoor spaces were sort of separate but you are very close to one another. Joe was very responsive and his home is perfect for summer cape vacation. Would highly recommend.

SVR is the Best!

Joseph’s home is fantastic. Proximity to the beach, the amenities are exactly what is needed. Talk about the best beach location for a week on the cape. I grew up in the area and it amazes me year after year (rented multiple years from Joseph). I’d recommend to anyone.

Great Cape Week!

This place is a perfect location for a family with young children. We have three kids 5 years old and younger and having access to the beach that is steps away at the end of the street is invaluable to us. Don't have to worry about beach parking or costs! The house is updated and clean and equipped with everything you would need. The large decks off the kitchen/dining room and upstairs bedroom are an added bonus. The owners are always quick with communication. We would definitely book again.

Great cottage and location!

We loved this 3 bedroom cottage in West Dennis! You have a view of the South Village beach and the Swan River from the upstairs deck. The kitchen and dining area is recently updated and so well done!!! It was also well stocked and very clean. The downstairs deck is also very comfortable to hang out in. We really loved the cottage.

Much needed break

Beautiful home with really stellar remodeling in the kitchen and bathrooms. A 3 minute walk to the beach, making a simple roll out of bed and hit the beach routine really easy. Great recommendations from Joe on things to do during the week - we actually did two of them: Wellfleet Drive In and a Cape Cod League Baseball game.

Amazing location, place, and owner!

Our family had the best week at this cozy cottage. Location, location, location... a short stroll to the beach made this cottage an ideal spot. Plenty of room for 6 adults to relax comfortably. Brand new kitchen, spacious dining area, beautiful view of the water from the master suite deck. Each room had a fan and very comfortable beds. Great breeze at night provided great weather for sleeping. Large back deck with grill and outdoor shower. Joe was very easy to communicate with and helped ensure we had a fantastic family vacation. This is an A++ location, house, and owner. Already booked for next year!!

Well furnished three bedroom cottage near lovely Cape Cod beaches

Our family enjoyed a wonderful 1 week stay at Joe & Colleen’s cottage in West Dennis. The cottage is nicely updated and fully equipped with everything you could need to feel at home right away. The neighborhood is quiet, and a great location for kids. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is fully equipped. Fast Wifi was greatly appreciated. There are two outdoor decks, and a very nice gas grill. Best of all, this cottage is just a couple hundred yards away from two lovely beaches. It was very easy to walk back and forth. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and would recommend this place to our friends. Thank you Joe & Colleen!

Outstanding Vacation Home

This property and its host exceeded all of our expectations. The property is well maintained and has many modern updates. The location was a perfect distance from everything that Cape Cod has to offer and the host provided lots of recommendations via email to avoid additional searches for food and entertainment. The property is within walking distance to a great beach and also multiple dining options. I would highly recommend that anyone want to visit Cape Cod, to definitely consider this property.

What a lovely beach cottage...

This property had a great location and amazing water/sunset views from the deck off the master bedroom. It was clean and well appointed with quality furnishings. Kitchen and bathrooms have been updated. Owner was kind, extremely responsive, and helpful providing local recommendations. We enjoyed our trip and would highly recommend the property/location.

Picture Perfect Cape Vacation

This house and vacation could not have been any more perfect. Our host Joe and his wife were easy to get in touch with throughout the entire process. The house itself has been updated with new appliances, including a washer and dryer (bonus feature for any beach vacation) as well as an outdoor shower to help keep the sand outside. There was more than enough space to accommodate my family, which includes my wife, two children (8&3) and my inlaws. The directions to get into the house were as easy as can be and it was spotless when we arrived. The upstairs deck has great views of the ocean and beach, as well as, great views of the stars in the southern sky. The beach is a close walk, less than five minutes, which was perfect for my 3yr old who likes to take breaks from the sun. If you are feeling adventurous you can walk over a block and float on a raft down the Swan River. We grilled a few times on the back deck and ate out at a few of the restaurants. The Sesuit Harbor Cafe (20 minute drive) offers amazing lobster rolls if you are willing to wait in line a few minutes. It is clearly the place to be on a Friday night. This house gets a 10/10 in my book.

Awesome week in West Dennis

We just returned from a week in West Dennis and this house was perfect for our family. Plenty of space for a family with 3 kids, loved how close it was to the beach, and the owner's were extremely helpful in communicating and sent u lots of restaurants and activity ideas. The house is well equipped with brand new appliances and comes with a shed full of beach chairs and some sand toys. We BBQ'd a couple times and enjoyed the brand new grill. We would definitely stay here again!
