Die Besucher dieses Anwesens reagieren alle gleich - von allen Reisezielen, die sie besucht haben, ist dieses majestätische Blockhaus im Schatten des mächtigen Berges Shasta einer der spektakulärsten Flecken der Welt!

Diese 7600 Quadratmeter große Pioneer Log Home, 3-stöckige Luxuskabine, 1700 Quadratmeter Deck - befindet sich auf 55 Hektar Höhe inmitten von Kiefern, Eichen und Hartriegeln mit atemberaubendem Blick auf Mt Shasta & Lake Siskiyou, aber nur wenige Minuten von lokale Sehenswürdigkeiten.

Die Hauptebene verfügt über einen offenen Grundriss, der einen großen Raum mit einem 'Feature Tree' von 8 'Durchmesser an der Basis und einem 20' hohen massiven Steinkamin, einem Shuffleboard-Tisch, einem Fernseher und einer Stereoanlage umfasst. Full-Service-Küche mit Granit, Steinböden, Bar Sitzgelegenheiten; Esszimmer mit Geweih Kronleuchter; und Conversation Nook mit einem weiteren massiven Felsenkamin.

Ebenfalls auf der Hauptebene - Master Suite mit Kingsize-Blockbett, Gasherd und begehbarem Kleiderschrank, Zugang zu Deck und Blick auf die Berge.

Untere Ebene - hat einen eigenen Wohnbereich mit Spieltisch, Fernseher, Kamin und Küchenzeile; 3 Schlafzimmer und zwei Bäder (1. Schlafzimmer mit Kingsize-Bett, Schlafsofa und Bad) (2. Schlafzimmer mit Kingsize-Bett, Schlafsofa; 3. Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett - gemeinsames Bad).

Gäste, die die untere Etage nutzen, können bei Bedarf die Privatsphäre genießen, da ein separater Zugang von außen zu den Hauptschlafzimmern und dem Wohnbereich besteht.

Loft - verfügt über einen Sitz- / Spielbereich und einen Schlafbereich mit Etagenbett und gepolstertem Schlafbereich.

Alle Zimmer sind exquisit in rustikaler Eleganz eingerichtet. Von fast allen Räumen des Hauses hat man eine herrliche Aussicht.

Die 1700 m² große Terrasse verfügt über einen Gasgrill, einen Holz-Picknicktisch und ausreichend bequeme Sitzgelegenheiten zum Entspannen und Genießen des Bergerlebnisses. Das Deck ist der perfekte Ort, um das Feuerwerk vom 4. Juli zu sehen, das auf Augenhöhe über dem See Siskiyou explodiert.

Amazing property!

The property is so beautiful. It was very peaceful and the perfect place to relax. The owners were very kind and one welcomed me to show me everything on the property. You can tell they truly care about the person enjoying their stay. I absolutely loved waking up to the beautiful Mountain View with Lake Siskiyou also. It is as if you are in a dream. Wow!

What an amazing stay! We stayed here in hopes of getting away from it all and having some fun in the snow and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Upon arriving, Boyce met us at the house and gave a quick tour of his beautiful house and was quick to respond to text anytime I had a question. There was plenty of space for our 2 families (total of nine of us). The kitchen had all the cookware and utensils we could possibly need and plenty of fire wood to keep the fire place well stocked. The kids loved the sledding right outside the front door too. The location and views were just perfect. We couldn’t stop taking pictures of Mt. Shasta. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful house with us. We can’t wait to come back soon!

An incredible Canadian - Cabin Transplant with Spirit and Soul! BREATHTAKING VIEWS!

I've been around the globe 7 times and I've stayed in some of the finest houses and hotels. This place is the definition of the whole package. I've never stayed somewhere with the combination of so much soul, spirit, and style as Majesty Retreat. Jaw-dropping views not to be missed! You can feel that the cabin was transported from Canada - and in Mt. Shasta - The location is to die for! As for hosting - no detail was missed. Joan and Boyce were fabulous - we already had an immediate response. Boyce has an immense, tangible passion for the property and we had a great overall experience!

Amazing family getaway

This house was a fantastic place for our family get away. My parents, my family and my sisters family had a great time. The kids had plenty of room as did the adults. The kitchen was one of the most well stocked kitchen we have ever stayed in. The whole house was lovely and we hope to stay there again.

One of a kind log lodge with spectacular views of Mt. Shasta

Our hosts were extremely helpful and made us feel welcome and right at home. The lodge was clean and well-appointed with everything we needed for our 4 night stay. The great room with open kitchen, dining area, two living spaces was perfect for our family gathering. The unobstructed view of Mt. Shasta from the great room and 3 bedrooms is unparalleled. It snowed after we arrived and the caretaker cleared the driveway twice a day and we had no trouble getting out at our departure.

Magnificent experience!

Mt. Shasta Majestic Retreat house was even better than the photos! The house is magnificent and Joan and Boyce Muse were a delight to work with. They were helpful, accommodating and responsive to any questions I had. My group adored the house and we loved it so much we choose to eat in rather than dining out. Nothing could compare to the views and scenery inside and outside the house. I will definitely return!

Mt. Shasta retreat June vacation

My husband and I stayed 3 nights along with 3 other couples. We had a wonderful time! The highlight is the spectacular view from the outside deck of Mt. Shasta!! Truly "Majestic" as the name implies. We felt so spoiled and rested. We will certainly book this wonderful retreat again!!

Great stay!

Loved our stay. Rented the house for 5 nights in the summer for an extended family of 10. Great views and peaceful. Close enough to the lake and town. Also close to Mt. Shasta and surrounding cities. House is beautiful just the the photos. Owners are attentive and friendly.

Amazing!!!!!

We have stayed at this amazing home several times now and plan to continue coming back. It is the perfect get away for our family. The home and property provide luxury/first-class accommodations, spectacular views, privacy . . . as has been mentioned on many of the reviews, the pictures do not do this property justice! It is amazing!!!! We also love all of the outdoor recreation available in the area and natural beauty. We have spent many happy days hiking, swimming, golfing, playing tennis and riding bikes but always look forward to just getting back to the amazing home for R&R. We love morning coffee and evening meals on the deck with the spectacular view of the lake and mountain! Our grandchildren are already asking when we are going back!

A magical place to spend time with family!

This is our second time staying at the Muse house and it still takes my breath away when I look at the veiw. There is so much to explore inside the house and the surrounding community. My grandson came this time and asks at least once a week when we are coming back. Truly a place that inspires relaxation and a connection with nature. The house is equipped with everything you need to prepare a fabulous dinner then head to the hot tub for a bit before you end the evening around the fire pit. Lake Skisypu awaits for summertime adventures and the museum Is a hidden gem. We definitely will be back!

We cannot thank Joan and Boyce enough for opening their home to our staff for our year-end retreat. The Majestic Retreat is unbelievably beautiful, with no detail overlooked. Boyce met us as the home when we checked in and showed us around, he was very kind and welcoming, and assured us he was a call away if we needed anything or had any questions. We are so thankful that we were able to experience the beauty of this home, and loved sitting on the back deck to take in the views. The photos of this home and scenery online are beautiful, but it is so much more in person. I explained it, like trying to take a picture of the moon on your cellphone. It is definitely something you need to see for yourself. Thank you Joan and Boyce for accommodating us, and for sharing this beautiful home with us. We surely will never forget our stay here. The owners are avid lovers of the outdoors and the mountains and had long dreamed of owning a log home. Couple that with a long-time love of the Mt. Shasta area and the quest for the perfect building site began.

The property was purchased in 2002 but that was just the beginning of years of love and labor that went into this magnificent home and property.

The log shell was delivered in 2005 and the home was completed in 2007.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

It was not our original intention to make this home available as a vacation rental. It was originally built as a weekend home/retreat for our family.

However, after repeated inquiries we are making it available as a vacation rental for other families to enjoy.

We love Mt. Shasta, the community, our mountain getaway and the limitless beauty and outdoor recreational opportunities available there.

Being there is calming. The mountain never ceases to be anything but breathtaking.

Its like luxury camping (you have all of the sights, and sounds and smells and adventure of being in the woods) but you are in incredibly luxurious surroundings with every amenity.

You seem to sleep incredibly well there.

It's just a great place to relax and be happy and enjoy your family and friends.
