Great location

Property was in a central location, easy to get to any sites just walking. Apartment was as pictured and Enrica was welcoming and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Perfect location in the heart of Florence. Close to the train station. Quaint apartment with everything a couple needs for a nice stay. The bed is on the second floor loft up a set of small metal stars and the shower is rather small for large people. However it was just perfect for us and the host, Enrica was super nice.

We really enjoyed our stay in the apartment, it’s in a very central location and Enrica was very responsive and helpful! The only downside was that it gets a bit warm in the loft at night but other than that it was great!

Location is everything!

This is a very affordable property for two people in the heart of Florence. A short walking distance to all the sights. Right next to one of the historic wine windows, this small apartment has everything you need for a home base. The building has an elevator as alternative access to the second floor unit. Laundry is located one floor above. The host had great communication and provided us with a handy map for reference. We were there during the heat of July, so the unit was a little warm but so is all of Florence at that time! The mini kitchen was perfect for small meal prep & snacks/drinks. Overall this is a great value with a fantastic location!

Fabulous location!

This is such a comfortable spot in a fabulous city in the middle of the action! Our host tucked us into this clean and cozy spot for our 5 night stay. We loved the lofted bedroom (steps are not an issue for us). So nice to have a couch to relax on during the day. We were close to everything!! Shopping, restaurants, wine window!!!, convenient to train station. We loved this VRBO!!!!

Location! Location! Location!

Enrica’s apartment in Florence was perfect for us. The location was optimal, within easy walking distance of all the major sights and the train station. Wonderful gelato and trattoria nearby, too. Enrica met us at the apartment, filled us in on how everything worked, and was always available if we had a question. She is a lovely host!

Great place in the middle of everything

My wife and I stayed here in our recent 4 day visit to Florence. The apartment is small, but it is well kept, centrally located, and very comfortable. It is well worth the money. If your goal is to stay out and enjoy Florence with a great place to come back and sleep in, this is it. Check in and out is super easy.

Perfect for us in Florence

We loved this little apartment. The owner met us and gave us an overview of the features and facilities of the home. We were close to trams and buses, and the highlights of this renaissance city. We also made good use of the available washer and dryer to refresh our clothes for additional weeks of travel.

Exceptional

If you are arriving into Florence by air or train, this property could not be more convenient. By air, an easy twenty minute Tram (T2) ride from right outside of the baggage claim area brings you to just outside of the main train terminal, then an easy five minute walk to the property (the same for those arriving by train.) If you’re driving, beware of the many ZTL’s but parking garages are located a few minutes from the property. Now the best part…it’s a very easy walk to ALL of the attractions that the city has to offer. Finally, Enrica (your host) is a lovely woman who will go out of her way to help in any way possible (we know because she did!) We have stayed here each time that we visited this amazing city and would not consider staying anywhere else.

Everything was exactly like the photos and the host was amazing. Some aggressive mosquitos got me the first night but I went to the store and got some repellant and everything was perfect. Fantastic location and a wine window right next door!!

Fabulous Small Apt gray area!

Great location, walk to all the sites, shopping, restaurants it is all right there surrounding the Apt. Nice clean small Apt, the building has a Lift. The small Kitchen was lacking basic cooking utilities. It could be more equipped, needs a larger fry pan, couple pots. A toaster, would be great just for cooking breakfast or a small meal to have a break from restaurants every night. Other wise nice place to stay. Nice host! We enjoyed our stay!

Could not have been better!

Let’s start with our host Enrica. To say she went out of her way to be helpful would be a gross understatement. She went way beyond what anyone would or could expect! The flat was perfect. The bed was comfortable, the living space was more than adequate, the bathroom was spotless and the small kitchenette had a refrigerator, stovetop, sink and microwave oven. Dishes, pots, pans and utensils all there if you needed them. Oh, and a TV, if you could find the time to waste while in Florence. On top of all of this, the flat is in the most convenient spot…walking distance to everything one would want to see in the city and restaurants on every street. We are 72 years old and don’t move around as good as we used to so this is the place to stay if you’re young or, like us, not so young anymore.

Wonderful place, but had a problem

Enrica is perfectly lovely, delightful and helpful. She met us as we arrived by car from the North, and helped get us set up with a nearby parking garage at a good rate. The charming apartment was absolutely spotlessly clean, and quite comfortable. Bathroom was cozy, but pleasant. A mini-kitchen had everything needed down to the corkscrew. Location couldn't be better, less than 10 minute walk to the Duomo, and every other important site in Florence. I would have given her a 5 star review, were it not for the deafening construction that was going on immediately outside our second floor window. Jackhammers, concrete saws, clattering steel pipes on cobblestone, you name it. I had let her know that we were unhappy about it before our third night there. She didn't really offer much, except that there wasn't anything she could do, other than offer us a few free nights "the next time you're in Florence". Hm. Very unlikely to be back for even the distant future. Now I really do understand, of course, that there isn't anything she could have done about the construction (it was apparently city sewer lines, not a private project and I imagine that dealing with government is impossible in Firenze), and they are "supposed" to start at 8 am, but the crew was out there at 7am all three mornings making horrible noise. We had, as one is typically doing on vacation, been out fairly late, and that early was unpleasant. I don't know whether there was anything she really could have done, but I would have appreciated at least knowing in advance that it was going on, even if only a day or two ahead (had clearly been for several days already) and be given the choice to stay elsewhere. I wouldn't want this to cause you to NOT say there. It's a wonderful place. But definitely check with Enrica beforehand to be sure the construction is finished. If so, you'll love this place. 3 stars with construction, 5 stars without.

Im Herzen von Florenz….

Die ansprechende Wohnung liegt sehr zentral- alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind sehr gut fußläufig zu erreichen. Geschäfte und Restaurants rund herum. Enrica war immer ansprechbar und hilfsbereit. Sie ist eine sehr freundliche Gastgeberin- wir haben uns in ihrer Ferienwohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir würden gerne wiederkommen.
