Spring Break Getaway

The location is perfect for easy access to the beach. The condo has everything for a relaxing vacation. The unit is really nice and does look like the pictures. It is smaller than it appears in the pictures. There is also no extra storage space in the kitchen. The unit was clean but the toilet had stains around the rim of the upper part of the toilet bowl. All in all we enjoyed our stay and loved the proximity to the beach.

Awesome weekend beach trip!!

Perfect location for either a week or 4 day vacation! Check in process was super easy, plenty of parking, great views, extremely easy access to the beach, and large beach area to use. Everyone was so polite and we were so close to Seaside Square and less than 30 minutes to other great restaurants in Santa Rosa, Seagrove, etc. The unit was the perfect size for 2-4 adults and super cozy. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice view, condo dated and dirty

Nice layout but didn’t expect condo to be so old and need of updating. Our feet were black from the dirty floor, screens on both sliders were broken and all drains in sinks and showers were clogged and didn’t drain. Great location but definitely unit needs to be updated

A little disappointed

Not stocked very well with towels and washcloths. Asked for more and got 5 towels and one hand towel. No washcloths. No internet service so TV was limited which would have been fine if not for rain. We have stayed there before (14th floor) and was pleased. Just a little different this time. Also no tables or umbrellas around pool.

Great complex

Great location, condo was clean, more than enough room for my haunted and I. Our dryer heating mechanism wasn’t working so that was a pain. Wood’s take 4-5 cycle to dry cuz it was just air. But reported to front desk & housekeeper was there at the time & offered to wash/dry our laundry. We didn’t find that necessary. Only did 2 loads of laundry & just ran the dryer multiple times to dry. The only negative was the two bedrooms didn’t seem to get as cool as the rest of the condo. The family/kitchen area always seemed to be cooler at night & both my husband & I found it hot at night in bedrooms. Not sure if it was the ventilation or what but that was the only negative. Love the location of One Seagrove Place.

Review of our stay

All in all, we had a great stay at One Sea Grove place. The weather here sure beats the weather at home right now. However, when we arrived on February 1, we had these issues to deal with; The Wi-Fi did not work and it took several conversations with tech-support at Live Oak over a day and a half to get it working. The surfaces in the condo were dusty. There were crumbs in the drawers in the kitchen and a dead roach in one of the cooking pots which lead us to do a thorough cleaning of the kitchen. Several lightbulbs were burnt out when we came in. The washer only filled with about 5 inches of water which was not sufficient to run a load of clothes. When we called guest services about this, they sent the maintenance man up and he couldn’t correct the issue. So he said there would be a repair man there that Monday. When no one showed up to repair the washer, we called again and they said the repairman would be there the next Monday. So we did not have a washer and dryer to use for that entire week. One of the outlets in the living room area that was the most accessible was loose in the wall and needed to be repaired, along with the icemaker that did not work. One evening, we were without running water until a pump was repaired. This past week the drain in the master shower started backing up which required turning the water off and letting the shower drain several times during taking a shower. Maintenance put something down the drain that helped but it still runs slow. This is our third year to stay at Seagrove Place and we have not been disappointed in our previous stays but we felt that attention to detail in the condo was lacking this year. It was just frustratinghaving to deal with these various issues during our vacation time, especially with paying increased monthly rent. We look forward to your reply, Louise and Mike Kinney
