The Neighborhood:
Welcome to one of America's last true beach towns! This fun, laid back area is perfect for a relaxing beach vacation. A mecca for great views, great food, and some great surf. Nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and the Folly River, you will enjoy 6 miles wide of beaches, surfing, kayaking, boating, and endless sunset views. Beautiful Morris Island is a great spot to take in the sea life and panoramic views. Take a stroll down Center Street in Downtown Folly, which boasts tons of eclectic bars and restaurants that are fun for the whole family.
Getting Around:
Folly is very easy to navigate on foot, by bike, or by car! This property is just 160 steps to the public beach access. On the way to the beach make sure to stop by Bert's market to load up on beach snacks, or get an Orange Crush from Rita's Seaside Grille. If you ever have your fill of the beach life, Historic Downtown Charleston is just a 20 minute drive away!
Other Things to Note:
- This property is in a quiet residential community, and Folly Beach has a strict noise ordinance violation rule of 1 strike. Please respect your neighbors, keep the noise down, and NO parties.
- You must be at least 25 Years old to rent this home.
POOL - Please be aware that any guests (or other individuals who use the pool by invitation of the guests) are expressly using the pool at their own risk and accept all responsibility for such use. Neither YOURPAD Charleston nor the property owner shall be held liable for any accidents or injuries that may occur during the use of the pool or adjacent poolside areas.
- POOL HEATING - Please note that the pool is heated September through February unless the temperature drops below 50 degrees at which point it is only heated for guests booking weekend stays. Please inquire and we'd be more than happy to help make the arrangements.
- For security purposes, there is a Ring Doorbell at the front door.
Contactless Check-In: This home offers a KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM, and we will provide the code before your arrival date.
- There is plenty of parking in the back lot of the house.
- We do not provide beach equipment, but anything available at the property is yours to use.
- The Folly Beach NOISE ORDINANCE is from 10 pm to 8 am.
- If bringing a pet, please inquire prior to booking. A $200 pet fee will be applied and charged at time of booking. Based upon approval.
- No smoking is allowed in or outside of the house.
- House parties, weddings, functions, events, bands, DJs, etc., are prohibited.
- The occupancy can be at most 10 people at any time during your stay.
Beach renourishment is expected to begin in March 2024. During this time, areas of the beach may be temporarily closed and/or impacted. Public beach accesses can be found at nearly every block and/or half block up and down the island. We are not responsible for any beach disruptions caused by the renourishment.
