The space
Designers Dream, is located on the first floor of a quaint cottage-style walk up, in Chicagos Wicker Park neighborhood.
The property is fully gated and also offers gated parking, accessible through the back alley entrance.
The interior space opens to the living area, brought alive by the vibrant wallpaper and velvet couch. The living room offers a Smart T.V. complete with streaming apps, cozy throws, seating and plenty of front closet storage for coats, luggage, etc. You will also find your iron & ironing board here.
Our reading room is both relaxing and inspiring, filled with contemporary artwork and a range of reading options. Stretch out on the day bed after a long day exploring and enjoy a good book or use this space as and additional bedroom for larger groups. The daybed has 2 twin bed areas, one pullout/trundle style.
The full size bedroom has all the comforts from home, memory foam mattress, 4 fluffy pillows, soft bedding, full length mirror and seating area. A large closet with luggage rack, space to hang your clothing and a vanity area.
The kitchen has a small eat in table for 4 and a desk area for work or your control center while visiting to plan out your days events. It is complete with dishwasher, stove, fridge. Brita water system in the fridge, Kuerig, tea kettle-coffees and teas all supplied as well as basic cooking oils & spices.
A full bathroom is stocked with all necessary towels and paper products for your stay, shampoo/conditioner/body wash station in the shower, as well as a hair dryer, first aid kit and a few other “emergency amenities”.
The Master bedroom is serene with a king size bed, 4 king pillows, memory foam mattress, soft bedding, full length mirror and seating area. A small closet for hanging clothing and luggage rack.
The backyard has seating for 6 with a gas fire table and a gas grill for your use. Grilling cooking/cleaning tools are provided.
A laundry area is available in the basement for your use with washer/dryer/detergent.
Guest access
You will have access to the whole first floor apartment, the backyard and back parking area(for 1 vehicle) if driving.
Other things to note
This is a quiet family oriented block. Great for anyone who is interested in spending time in the Wicker Park neighborhood but looking for a more subdued home base.
