Horrible Experience
I had a horrible experience. Entering into the unit, there was a horrible smell! I could not shake it! The couch smelled bad and the smell lingered into the bedroom. The bathroom was decently clean. Although it smelled terrible, I still cleaned the unit to help the smell. On day two, the power went out. I was instructed go into a door that was next to the living room to turn the breaker on and off. I looked to my left and there was a dead rat in a trap. I immediately freaked out. I informed the host that I seen a dead rat, she replied “thank you. Were you able to access the breaker?” The host over looked the fact that there was a dead rat right next to me. Also, I informed the host at 10am that the power was out and when I woke back up at 2pm, it was still out. The power was not turned back on until 5pm. I had a terrible experience. When I arrived, it was pitch black, so I had a hard time finding the unit to begin with. The owner of the house was super friendly and did apologize. Vrbo handled the entire situation with no care. When I informed Vrbo that I had seen a rat, they advised me that nothing could be done unless I seen 3 or more rats. Insane and unbelievable!!! I will not be booking with Vrbo again.
