Eine bedeutende Verbesserung des Sees ist jetzt im Gange. Der Bau einer neuen Überlaufrinne. Bei diesem Projekt musste der See vorübergehend geleert werden. Wir gehen davon aus, dass der See im September 2019 wieder wie neu sein wird. In der Zwischenzeit können Sie die beiden anderen Seen der Gemeinde Stillwater besuchen. Beide sind nur wenige Gehminuten von unserem Grundstück entfernt.

Im Herzen der Poconos, ist dieses moderne zeitgenössische Hause auf Summit Lake mit vielen Zimmern mit einem Seeufer Aussicht. Es basiert auf Holiday Drive zwischen Urlaub und Freizeit Lanes entfernt.

Das Haus verfügt über 3 Schlafzimmer, 2 Badezimmer, einen großen himmelbeleuchteten Wintergarten / Esszimmer, eine voll ausgestattete Küche und ein Familienzimmer mit großem Kabel-TV, Gaskamin und einem Billardtisch. Drahtloses Internet ist im Preis inbegriffen. Weitere Kabel-TVs befinden sich in allen Schlafzimmern. Holzfußböden. Handtücher werden nicht zur Verfügung gestellt.

Toller Ort zum Entspannen. Im Sommer können Sie in unserem 3-Personen-Kanu und 4-Personen-Ruderboot Angeln und Boot fahren. Schwimmen Sie am Pool und am Strand des Vereins. Kochen Sie im Freien auf dem Deck Gasgrill oder toasten Sie Marshmallows rund um die Feuerstelle am See.

Vermietungen sind für Familien und Familiengruppen bis 10 Personen. Gruppen, wo jeder über dem Alter von 25 ist auf 8 Personen begrenzt.

Das Haus befindet sich in der Nähe von Camel Back, Big Boulder und Jack Frost Skigebiet entfernt. Die Wasserparks Kalahari, Split Rock und Camel Beach sind nur wenige Minuten entfernt. Das Casino, Pocono Raceway, Einkaufszentren, State Parks und viele weitere Attraktionen machen dieses der ideale Ort für das ganze Jahr Spaß.

Warm and Welcoming

We stayed at Don & Pat's place over what turned out to be quite a cold weekend. However, save for the frosty lake and the occasional falling icicle, we would never have known it was as cold as -2 outside. The home is warm and cozy and the skylights add a touch of sunshine all throughout the house. Pat is very responsive and accommodating and the house has just about everything we could have needed. Ww would definitely stay again.

This house was great for our three families to gather and celebrate New Year’s together. Our teenagers loved the pool table and fusball. And the weather was even warm enough to throw a football around and play cornhole.Our only complaint was that the property didnot provide towels, not even hand towels. Absolutely wonderful getaway home

We stayed here for Thanksgiving weekend and it was perfect for what we needed. Everything was clean and well kept, and the views of the lake were absolutely gorgeous. The area is also perfect for vacation stays, since there's all the things you could need nearby. Grocery stores, a pharmacy, gas stations. Highly recommend and will keep bookmarked for future trips.

Water Outage & Poor Communication

We experienced a water outage from early morning until evening, lasting 8 hours, on the second day. This caused major inconvenience for our group of 12 as we couldn’t use the bathroom, shower, or even clean dishes to cook food during that time. The water quality was poor, likely well water, and not suitable for drinking or cooking. Additionally, there was no supply of paper towels provided. When I requested a reimbursement, the host ignored my messages. There was also an uneven floor with sharp edges in one room that caused discomfort when walking into the living room. Overall, not a pleasant experience.

Peaceful Pocono Retreat

We had a great 3 day stay. House was large and had beautiful lake views plus the walk was literally just steps to the lake from the back deck. Roasting marshmallows by the fire pit was fun for the kids. Owners were nice and very responsive. Only complaint would be that the master bedroom hallway bedroom and bathroom upstairs had no coverings from all the light streaming in every morning from the several ceiling windows, which made it alittle difficult to sleep after the sun came up. It would be nice to have some shades for that. Otherwise a really relaxing stay!

Family lake vacation

The lakehouse was amazing! Very roomy and comfortable! We played cornhole every day and played pool every night! The only thing I wish they had was an umbrella on the deck for some shade in the morning and early afternoon. Other than that it was perfect! We would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic location, nice view

Property was as described in listing. Check-in is easy and owner communication is great. The home has 2 full baths, 3 bedrooms with 7 beds. This was great for our group of 6 (with no couples) so everyone needed their own bed. One bed is in a upstairs loft area (so a semi-private space without a door). Beds were comfortable. As many other reviews state, the kitchen is well stocked with items you may need, including spices, foil, plastic bags, etc. I'll add that this stock is way more generous than I've seen at other rental properties. So, as another reviewer said, "Check the pantry before you go shopping." Teens enjoyed the pool table, foosball and strong wifi. View of the lake is nice, and the house has a lot of windows in living room and upstairs bed room. If you sit outside in the firepit area, the sound of the water is relaxing (at least in winter it was when there are no boaters.) The location is close to many area attractions, including Kalahari, Camelback, Great Wolf Lodge, Paintball Asylum, and a short drive to several other ski and snow tube locations. Walmart, a few supermarkets and restaurants (fast food and local) within 10 minutes, so if you don't want to cook, you don't have to. Communication with the owner was proactive and clear. We enjoyed our stay.

We absolutely had an incredible time at this property. The views of the lake were gorgeous! We had a lovely time kayaking, paddle boarding and swimming at the beach area. The house was fully equipped and it was very spacious. Highly recommend this place!

Nice weekend

Stayed for a weekend with the family.cplenty of room for all 10 of us. The lake was smaller than expected and you could only swim in a small beach area. But we made the most of it and kayaked/paddle boarded which was fun The host also ecommended a nearby state park with bigger lake and beautiful beach & picnic area. This made it totally worth it.

Sun and Fun at Pocono Summit

This lovely vacation home, footsteps from Summit Lake, was spacious, and the bedrooms were perfect. Our family of five loved the sturdy dock and deep 3-seated rowboat, the very short walk to the lake, the clean, well-maintained patio with wooden Adirondack chairs, an expansive porch, a grill, many comfortable couches, a large living room, plenty of TVs with cable, a large dining table for eight people, soft rugs, air-conditioning throughout, and ample parking—😁! Plenty of bedrooms were in this rental to choose from, 2 well-furnished bathrooms, with skylights and many windows, bringing the outside light in throughout the day. The house does have gorgeous views all around, outside and inside- (even from the kitchen!), but for us, curtains and shades would have added some privacy and cooling factors, especially in the early mornings and then later at nite. Surprisingly, the neighborhood was a little noisier experience than anticipated with airplane, train, and vehicles close enough to hear. Not changeable, obviously, but not to our preference for a quieter get-away. A few additions could include, at least one umbrella to give needed morning shade for sitting at the sturdy picnic table/multiple patio chairs on the well-appointed porch. And a 4-person table IN the large kitchen area, with the functional high-chair island that is already there may be another idea. Boating and fishing in the boat were great—sunfish, bluegills, & calico bass were all caught—captured in photos—and released in the plentiful lake. Swimming in the lake during our time was limited to the lake’s wide corner beach or the Still Water Association’s swimming pool. But, the pool was closed due to construction (understandably, out of the owner’s and our control), and we did not choose the option of purchasing beach passes for swimming at the beach this time. We loved the sky views and lake outside, even catching a 180’ rainbow during our stay!! The lake also had a “turtle rock“🐢 - that we counted up to nine turtles on at one time- amazing!! Visits from beautiful swans, ducks & geese on the lake complemented our vacation time here. We would recommend this vacation home as a sunny, playful, relaxing and fun experience for families and friends in Pocono Summit.
