This timeless nostalgic style cabin will take you back in time sitting on 8 acres all to yourself. Feel free to wander to the bridge and enjoy the park like setting and fire pit. Only 1.5 miles to Petit Jean St. Park. Open floorpan, 2 bedrooms & 1 bath downstairs. Upstairs loft has 2 single beds. Wood burning fireplace. We invite you to embrace all the cabin vibes here at Bear Creek Lodge. Resembling traditional nostalgic style cabin in the woods, you will be sure to love all the natural wood throughout the entire space. The large front porch faces east, perfect for waking up and soaking up the sunrise, coffee in hand, sitting within the rustic wooden rocking chairs. It overlooks the fire pit, designed with plenty of seating for those fun evenings around the fire. Inside is wood burning stove you will love in the cooler weather. Cozy up with a good book and enjoy. The living room seats 6 people comfortably. The kitchen is spacious and open to the living room. The oversized screened porch also offers plenty of seating to enjoy the views of nature. The back overlooks a private 8 acre park-like setting. You will not want to leave this setting. But when you do, be sure to let your friends know and come back again soon.
Feel free to text or call me during your stay. I am an hour away but can handle any issue you may incur.
You will fall in love with Petit Jean Mt. Bear Creek Cabin in only 1.5 away from the park. Lots of hiking trails, kayaking, fishing, a playground, tennis courts, a petting zoo and a swimming pool in summer. You must go check out the new visitors center and Petit Jean Coffee Shop during your stay. For food, the Petit Jean Lodge is a beautifully designed rustic dining experience. The local general store sells very basics for camping. They also have a grill and deli (burgers and sandwiches). My personal favorite is the Petit Jean Coffee shop, located near East Entrance. Swanky, creative and a full coffee shop experience. They offer breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal and several great lunch sandwiches. On the weekends, it is fun to visit with farmer's market (1039) Winrock Dr. They sell local produce, baked goods and serve lunch sandwiches also.
From our cabin, it is best to drive to any location in the park or on the mountain. Mainly because there are are no established sidewalks and the roads are dirt and narrow from our cabin to the park.
