Fun opportunities in the area are endless; hiking, horseback riding, fishing, boating, hot spring soaking, hunting, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, white water rafting, wildlife viewing & so much more! Many restaurants/shops nearby. Wildlife is often on the property, horses, dogs & mountain views!
The space
This is in a prime central location of the Greater Yellowstone Area, in the famous Paradise Valley. It’s just a 25 minute drive to the reopened Northern entrance of Yellowstone National Park and situated on the same route from the Belgrade Airport.
The Gallatin National Forest is in view from the house, there are many trails and recreational sites throughout Paradise Valley into the National Forest.
There are usually horses around the property, quite often right outside the window.
There are also two friendly large dogs on the property as well, they may greet you during your stay.
From the house it’s a;
10 minute drive to Chico Hot springs (which also has a spa, bar and two restaurants).
20 minute drive to the Yellowstone Hot springs.
10 minutes to Sage Lodge (fine dining).
10 minute drive to the small town of Emigrant where there are a couple restaurants, a gas station and the Old Saloon (fun bar/nightlife).
20 minute drive, heading South, to the fun town of Gardiner (at north entrance) with gift/grocery shopping, restaurants and bars/nightlife.
40 minute drive North to Livingston, which provides many restaurants, bars, lots of shopping opportunities, a cinema, and has grocery stores.
Boat ramps are located along hwy 89, there is a popular ramp just five minutes down the road. You can fish the Yellowstone River two minutes down the road at a pullout, south of the property.
Horseback riding is a popular activity in the area, we know many outfitters that we can recommend (including ourselves).
The nights are dark and full of stars here in big sky country, enjoy your evening in the backyard roasting marshmallows on the fire pit.

Guests have access to two parking spots, , front and back yard of but are not to cross any fence.
Guests do not have access to the garage or the main residence on the back of the property up the driveway from the . The yard surrounding the main residence is also not available to guests.

***WINTER GUESTS:
In the snowy winter months (especially February and March) we highly recommend four wheel drive, if not all wheel drive vehicles. Snow drifts can occur on roads and on the driveway. The trucks come to plow, however in heavy wind storms it is hard for them to keep up. This experiences true Montana winters! 😉
