Beautiful view and very safe
We loved our stay here. Our kids loved the balcony with the hammock and just relaxing, soaking up the atmosphere. The bonus of the pool and gym were a favorite for us. It was clean and we felt very safe here. Dana was wonderful to work with!

Fantastic stay
Great property close to restaurants and the marina. This was our first visit and we felt like we had hit a home run. Fajardo has many restaurants and attractions close by. It is far enough away from San Juan to escape the hubbub but close enough to drive to for day trips. It is close to the rainforest and the marina has tours that go to the neighboring islands. The condo was clean, well stocked with pots & pans, has a great view of the harbor. We plan to stay here again.

Amazing Views and Location
We have stayed at this condo many times before and continue to come back because of its cleanliness, great communication with the owner and fantastic location. The views are hard to beat and the amenities inside and outside the condo are just perfect. The condo is beautifully decorated and everything needed to make it feel like home is there for your convenience. We love staying there so much that when is not available we move our dates to make sure we get to stay in this beautiful place. We hope to make a come back before this year ends and enjoy our stay as we always do.

Great place to stay in Fajardo
This condo at the Pena Mar Ocean Club was a wonderful place to stay. The complex itself was very secure so we had absolutely no worries. Dana was wonderful to work with as she was very quick to respond to the various questions that we asked and her answers and suggestions were very helpful. The condo itself was very clean, modernized and well stocked with everything that we needed to make our stay very enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again the next time we come to Fajardo!

Great family vacation rental!
Dana's condo is a great location for a family vacation which is exactly what we used it for. We had two children ages 11 and 16 with us and they loved the pools and the balcony hammock. The location was a short drive (10 minutes) to Seven Seas Beach where we did some snorkeling. We also visited El Yunque using Louie's Tours (recommended!) which was an amazing day. We also visited Playa Azul Beach (20 minute drive) and Isla Verde Beach (45 minute drive), both of which were beautiful and worth the drive! Our other adventure was traveling to Old San Juan and Fort El Morro, this can be an all day excursion to see the fort and then explore Old San Juan. We definitely would stay in this condo again if we decide to go back to Puerto Rico. Dana was very responsive while we were there although we didn't encounter any issues, just had some questions. The check in/check out process was easy and access through the gated entrance was a breeze! Thanks again for letting us share your tropical island!

Amazing
Dana’s condo is spacious, clean as a whistle, modern and airily furnished, befitting the gorgeous view of the sea and a marina from the balcony. We felt immediately at home, finding complimentary beverages, helpful tourist info, toiletries and full guidelines on using Pena Mar’s excellent facilities. A television in each bedroom was a special feature, but we all bunked together on a king-bed for the Super Bowl for which Dana had kindly confirmed beforehand the channel showing it. We had an accompanying infant, so the easy walk-in at the same level from the parking lot was really appreciated. Entering and exiting the property’s gate was a breeze, once the guards knew us. The condo’s proximity to all the beauty of eastern PR was so wonderfully convenient -- tourist sites (Seven Seas beach, San Juan Headlands/ lighthouse, El Yunque rainforest, Luquillo kiosks), the ferry (to Vieques for its biobay and Culebra for its snorkeling and beaches), and the Fajardo shopping plaza (for WalMart, Econo supermarket, Walgreen and Sizzler). Dana was a responsive and accommodating host throughout, including leaving the condo key for us at our requested location in Old San Juan and agreeing after our departure to send our deposit to a local charity. Would definitely stay at this amazing vacation rental again. Grant & Olwen

Home away from home :-)
What a lovely location... This condo truly felt like home. The location was perfect for all the activities we wanted to do, including the bioluminescent bay and a short drive to Seven Seas beach! We never wanted to leave. Thanks Dana for a wonderful stay and the complimentary beverages! Only note is that the hot tub by the Infinity pool wasn't very warm. Other than that, the property was well maintained and security was good. The condo itself was wonderful. Hope to stay again!!

A little piece oh heaven!
We were so happy to find this gem in Puerto Rico The condo has a great location, great views , super peaceful. We were able to relax and enjoy the amenenities of Pena Mar. My teenagers loved having their space and own TV. My husband and I enjoyed the lazy afternoons by the balcony. We are already planning our return. Good job Dana!

Loved this place!!
We recently traveled to PR for the first time and decided to stay in Fajardo. We fell in love with the area. Dana's place was just as it looks in the pictures. She was great to deal with, very professional and friendly. The property is very nice and the infinity pool was nice to come back to after a long hike in the rain forest. Great Vacation!

Exceptional !!!
Dana is an exceptional host. We arrived to refreshments, a spotless home, beautiful views and a home base which allowed us to enjoy all the beauty of eastern Puerto Rico. When we needed to stay a few additional hours to accommodate our departure on the ferry to Culebra, Dana graciously agreed. Most importantly, Dana was but a phone call or text away when we has questions on activities, best beaches, the market, or best restaurants. She even made sure she have us directions to the condo and checked on us as we were driving there. There were 8 of us and we were accommodated beautifully and comfortably. Our only regret is that we could not stay longer at these wonderful accommodations. We will be returning !

Wonderful Vacation Spot!
My family of 5 (Wife and 3 kids age 18, 16 and 12) had the most amazing time visiting Fajardo and other areas of Puerto Rico. Dana was a tremendous host, providing many ideas and amenities to use during our stay. We all felt very much at home here; and cannot wait for a return trip! Dana's condo is perfect for relaxing after a long day of hiking, kayaking or sight-seeing. Very clean and safe, with many choices available for families and/or adults just looking to relax. Excellent and comfortable stay in Fajardo!
My sister-in-law and our 3 teenage daughters had a fabulous long weekend at Dana's condo. It was the perfect space and location. The condo was clean and the photos were an accurate representation. The deck was a favorite. We took advantage of as much as possible in 3 days. A day trip to Icacos with Captain Mingo, a visit/hike in El Yunque and a kayak trip to Bioluminescence Bay (stunning). Dana was very responsive and accommodating. She made our stay easy and inviting. The teenagers loved it and enjoyed all the pool options. Would definitely stay here again. A great value for a family vacation! No complaints-except that I couldn't find a cutting board.

Beautiful condo and awesome views!
Dana is a great host and was very helpful with information and/or anything we needed. The condo is incredible and had everything we needed for our vacation. Fantastic condo on the marina!
This is a fantastic condo, right off a small marina north of Fajardo. Dana met us in San Juan to give us the keys, directions and some advice--very friendly and helpful! With good traffic it is a little more than 40 minute drive to the condo. Condo building layout is such that the unit entrance is on the same level as the parking--no stairs or elevators, just a short little walk to the door! Very convenient (and safe, there is an outer door which is also locked and a gate to the community). Very nice gym and pool area. Condo itself was very clean, nicely decorated--looks just like the pictures. There is a little walk up type bar just below the condo that wasn't open when we were there, but was recommended. Several catamaran excursions leave from the Marina outside your window--but I recommend you call ahead to book, they were sold out most of the days we were there (Barefoot, Screaming Eagle, Salty Dog and a couple others). If you have a car, there are many restaurants and bars up "around the corner" and a huge beach (Seven seas I believe). Not within walking distance though. Also, you are just minutes from Fajardo proper, the huge Fajardo marina and a big shopping center (by car). Plenty of things to do, or just relax by/in the pool or in the hammock on the balcony :) All in all, a beautiful condo, great place to stay and very friendly and helpful owner. Would highly recommend!!

Updated, spacious, clean, and well-stocked!
First off, Dana is the best host you could ask for. She really went out of her way to make sure our trip to Puerto Rico was enjoyable. The condo is in the Pena Mar complex, which has a couple nice pools along with a staffed security entrance. The beds were super comfortable, the AC worked great, and the kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. The condo was spotless and well decorated. We spent a lot of time on the balcony, which has a good view to the ocean. The condo has a couple of beach chairs, boogie boards, a cooler, beach towels, and some beach toys, which was great. There is also wifi in the unit. From the condo, it took us about 15 minutes to get to the ferry in Fajardo, less than 20 to get to Luquillo Beach, and a little more than 20 to get to El Yunque. The only problem we had was leaving the condo during morning rush hour--there is a bit of traffic, as there is only one way in/out of the area. It delayed us about 20 minutes one morning and about 10 minutes the next. I recommend leaving the condo by 7am or waiting until after 9am. There is a Ralph's (at Route 3 and El Conquistador Ave) about 10 minutes from the condo for groceries. We really enjoyed our stay and would easily recommend this unit to anyone interested in staying in Fajardo.

Great Location, outstanding service from owner
The property was in pristine condition,everything that you need to stay away from home was available, the complex was very secure and the amenities are accessible and clean. The view from the condo balcony was spectacular.The ride from the airport was easy . Plenty of shops to stock the fridge if needed. Close bakery for breakfast and good selection of restaurants for lunch and dinner. I truly recommend this particular condo because the owner would make you feel at home and they would go the extra mile to answer any questions that you may have. The ferry is close to visit Culebra with beautiful beaches like Flamenco. El conquistador hotel is very close to enjoy their amenities. El Yunque is another wonder you have to visit, is a small drive from the condo but so worth it as well as old San Juan for shopping and to visit El Morro. Awesome place!
The condo has spectacular views, specially at night. Very clean and spacious, just like the description says. My kids loved the pool and my husband the gym. Kitchen has anything you need to fix a quick meal if you decide to. It really feels like home away from home. I totally recommend this place. Owners are very nice and hospitable!
