Great house for a family trip with small kids.

Perfect location just a few blocks from the beach and shops. The kids loved the large backyard and especially the treehouse!

Amazing stay

We had a wonderful vacation in La Jolla. This house was perfect for our family. You are a few blocks from the beach, local restaurants, and shops. The house met all our needs - had comfy beds, well appointed kitchen, and 'the best backyard ever' (according to my children). We would 100% stay here again if we ever return to La Jolla.

Excellent property and location

We stayed for a wedding and we absolutely loved our place. The backyard was perfect to hang out and sit by the fire with friends and the location was perfect. We would 100% come back!

Great place to stay

This has been an exceptional trip for us. We did have a family gathering on Friday afternoon and the space was great including the outdoors with all the available seating. It truly was a “home” away from home.Super convenient walking to the beach, cove, and pier/Birch Aquarium.With our flights we will be leaving before 10:00 am. I will try to remember to text you when we are leaving. Thank goodness the weather cooperated with our trip.

Wonderful house

We were a group of 4 friends and had a great time. The house is set up perfectly to hang out, cook some meals and explore La Jolla. You can walk to the beach, restaurants, coffee and a little convenience store.100% recommend this house

Christmas Vacation with family

This was the perfect place for us. Location was close to everything- we loved the easy walk to beach and the village. The house was very clean and comfortable. We didn’t have a lot of time to enjoy the great backyard area but it was a perfect place to hang out and relax. Communication was very good- tips about the area were provided, questions were answered quickly and check-in and check-out process was easy.

Wonderful stay at La Jolla Shores

This was a dream beach stay. We have small children and the location was perfect. We had an easy walk to all restaurants and the beach. The place was clean and the backyard was great for my children to run away. Would gladly stay here again!

Conveniently located

This house was very comfortable for 4 adults. It is close enough to walk to the beach and nearby stores/restaurants. We had a lovely week long vacation enjoying the beach and some family time. The main con was the person staying in the single bedroom didn't have a room air conditioner, and it can get warm.

Location Location Location

Recently my wife and I had a wonderful stay in La Jolla. The location of this property was within a short walk to the beach and restaurants. If you stay here, you'll be extremely happy you have parking for 2 vehicles because the weekend beachgoer traffic is crazy. The house was darling. The photos don't do it justice. The kitchen was well appointed with every pot, pan and utensils one could ever need. The backyard has several gathering areas, two with fire pits. Just a great place to relax. We will definitely return to this little gem.

Great property for families. Very clean and well appointed. Just a couple of suggestions: 1) Provide prior instructions on how to lock the back French doors. The property manager sent me a video when I reported being unable to lock it. The video was great but after I had struggled to the point of frustration and being late for an airport pickup. 2) provide 2 keys or an entry code to facilitate different family members coming and going. Overall great experience. Thank you!

Family time in La Jolla

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Seems like a recent renovation but maintains the charm of a casual beach house. Beds and linens were comfortable, kitchen was well appointed, and the backyard was awesome - just as the photos show. Rachelle was a helpful host and responded quickly when I had a question. I would highly recommend this property! And I hope to come back again soon.

Perfect beach house close to everything!

The house is welcoming and comfortable, and recently renovated. The yard is quite large and well organized with many games including a playhouse, we had our 2 granddaughters with us so it was great to have a large space where they could play while we relaxed. The beach and restaurants are close enough that our 3 1/2 years old could walk to and from without complaining. Just one word of advice, since the area is quite popular as the beach is perfect for little kids, if you need to go grocery shopping, you need to go the backway through the Scripps Aquarium Road to avoid the traffic on I 5. We will return to this place!

Awesome Location w Fabulous Backyard

My husband and I were in town to move our daughter home from UCSD. We wanted a property close to UCSD and with a backyard so we could host a small bbq for local family and this property did not disappoint. The location was perfect as described walking distance to beach and restaurants. The house was clean, with large bedrooms and the dining room opened up to a fabulous backyard with bbq, firepit and lots of seating. The host, Rachelle, was easy to communicate, always replied to our requests and gave us five-star care. Highly recommended this property!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great find!

We had such an amazing time at this house. The decorations are so cute, the beds and pillows are the most comfortable I've ever experienced at a rental, and that back yard and fire pit were thoroughly enjoyed. Our host was super attentive, quick to respond and made sure we had everything we needed. The beach towels weren't there so they ordered them in time for our trip to the beach. The firepit ran out of propane, and a new tank was delivered. What excellent customer service!! The house is a short walk to the Village which we took at least once a day for some really great restaurants. The beach was also a short walk away and they had chairs and toys to roll over in the beach wagon they provided. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay, and 5 star experience!

Just OK

Property manager above and beyond amazing I would give her 10 stars if I could. Property is just OK. I had to buy our own fans and one air conditioning unit, property manager brought one also for us. The house was a complete hot box. No crosswinds, The front main room has no windows that open. You can leave the door wide open, but it has a wall right there blocking breeze because of the street noise and it would be an unsafe with those with young children. Window box fans the property offered only fit in one bedroom window. House is located on busy street making the front room loud if doors open and from bedroom street noise all night with windows open. Handsoap in bathrooms were filled with water and no replacements available, lacked basic kitchen utensils such as serving spoons, grill stored up against the home, the only lighting when using the grill was a porch light on the house. Complete safety issue as a grill should not be underneath an awning of a home due to fire hazards. Propane tanks stored in an attached closed garage in same space as water heater with pilot light, another safety issue. For those with young children… You cannot walk barefoot in the backyard due to the needles in the artificial grass are like tiny daggers. Property manager did drop off soap, utensils, and A fire alarm for us to install due to one beeping all night. We appreciate her efforts. Property would be best in colder months and with teens and adults only. Beds were comfortable.
