Poor support from property manager
When we booked, the listing said ground floor unit, as we received more info about the unit we saw it was second level. We are Senior Citizens and my husband has trouble with stairs. I contacted the property manager to see if we could make a change. I was told no worries there was an elevator. Well.. the elevator was not working! Again I contacted the PM and was told he would contact the HOA to fix it. Turns out the elevator hasn't work for a long while and PM knew about it just lied to us. FYI, we had to enlist help from a neighbor to bring up our suitcases. Also, out of 4 TV's only 3 worked, again, PM said he'd fix them, we were at the unit a week and nothing changed. All he said was sorry...The gas fireplace didn't work (gas had been turned off) the faucet in the kitchen was very loose, and there was mold in the master shower.The unit was big, advertised sleeping 8, but in reality it slept 6 and the other two folks had to sleep on a blowup air mattress. I feel like the PM lied to us. We also found a note from a previous tenant that listed the same problems. REALLY?!, the cleaners hadn't even taken the note...did they even clean in that room? So, in all the stress about the elevators and TV's etc. and the lack of response from the PM is the WHOLE REASON for the bad rating.
