Wunderschönes Blockhaus in bester Lage am Lake Winnipesaukee mit herrlichem Blick auf die Ossipee Mountains und den Mount Chocoura. Erster Stock umfasst vier Queen-Schlafzimmer, Bad, Familienzimmer mit schönen Ledermöbeln, Flachbild-TV, Kamin und Holzböden im gesamten.
Die untere Ebene verfügt über ein zweites Familienzimmer mit einem weiteren Flachbildfernseher, einem kleinen Bad, einem großen Spielzimmer mit einem Schiefer-Billardtisch und einer Tischtennisplatte.
Eine riesige Terrasse mit herrlichem Blick auf den See und die Berge bietet Platz für zwölf Personen, einen großen Weber-Grill und einen schönen Ort zum Entspannen und Genießen der Ruhe und Gelassenheit des Insellebens.
Das Anwesen umfasst 100 'private Uferpromenade sowie ein großes, 36' tiefes Wasserdock, in dem Boote, Jetskis, Kajaks und Kanus untergebracht werden können. Eine Leiter am Ende des Docks sowie Granitstufen an der Küste ermöglichen den Austritt aus dem unberührten Wasser. Dies ist ein haustierfreundliches Haus mit vorheriger Genehmigung und einer geringen Gebühr. Eine Reihe von Familien sind Jahr für Jahr in die Ferien in diesem besonderen Haus zurückgekehrt. Bitte beachten Sie, dass ein Mindestaufenthalt von einer Woche erforderlich ist.

Best place on the lake

This is one of the best locations on the lake. The quiet cove, unbeatable views, cozy and immaculate home with lots of amenities. This is our 3rd year and we couldn't be happier. Mark is an excellent host and very easy to communicate with. As long as he continues to share his home, we will continue to be his guests.

Beautiful lake views!

Charming log cabin with breathtaking views of Lake Winnipesaukee. Family of 4 adults and dog had plenty of room. Decided we would eat most meals out as we didn’t want to spend any time doing housework, but kitchen seemed fully stocked. Had a few minor hiccups, but Mark answered very quickly and was able to help us out. Sad to leave, but had a beautiful fall weekend in NH.

Fantastic location

We loved everything about this property. There are gorgeous views of the lake and the Ossipee Mountain range, yet the area is relatively protected from wind, waves and traffic. The house is a quaint log cabin which is a little cottagey, but exactly what we want for vacation. There is a new bath on the main level which was a nice surprise and the bedding is new and very comfortable. The kitchen is fairly modern and well-equipped. Mark was extremely easy to reach and very accommodating. There were no negatives for us.

Large and comfortable. family loved the deck , dock and swimming platform. On the one rainy day we played pool, ping pong and watched movies in the lower floor family room. 2 thumbs up!

Amazing family getaway!

This house was such an amazing getaway!! The pictures posted by the host do not even do it justice. The whole place was comfortable (couches and beds). The boat dock was perfect to park our pontoon boat all week. Mark was a fantastic host and answered all my questions within minutes! We loved the pool table and ping pong tables in the basement during our last rainy day there. We stayed during a very hot week and we were happy we remembered to pack additional fans for sleeping! Absolutely recommend staying here!!!

Amazing location and friendly, flexible owner

My family and I stayed here for a week long vacation, something we haven’t done together in years. The house itself was the perfect size for 3 couples and our dogs. The view from the house is gorgeous and the easy access to the lake made kayaking such a fun everyday activity. Mark was easy to reach and very accommodating. We are already planning a trip back next year!

Loons everyday, best views on the lake.

True family home, great value, easy access to shopping, food and boat rentals, very responsive property owner. Private island location, no traffic, great sun sets and sunrises. Would rent again and again. Trash pick up at 7:15 am, on Monday, do not must that time. Great internet service

This lake house is perfect...

This lake house was a perfect vacation, plenty of room and plenty of things to do we enjoyed the lake on the days it didn’t rain, when it rained we enjoyed the downstairs game room, there is something for everyone to do the dogs even went swimming... and the scenery was pic. Perfect... we will be coming back again... and the owner Mark was great to work with he would get back to you within minutes... thank you Mark...

Perfection!

We had the most amazing vacation! As soon as you walk in - the property feels like home. We had a party of 7 - 4 adults and 2 children and 1 dog. There was something for everyone, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, horse riding, boat hire we even went in a sea plane! We loved kayaking around the islands, and watching the Eagles! The property is wonderful, so spacious with the added bonus of a pool and ping pong table, though the weather was so great, we spent all our time outdoors. In the evening we made the most of the large outside deck and BBQ. Mark was fantastic and so helpful. This is as good as it gets, but please don't tell everyone as we want to book next year!! Thank you Mark for a truly wonderful , memorable experience.

Fall Weekend Getaway

The house was a real pleasure. Great location on the lake with a dock and plenty of waterside seating. The house was very clean and very well appointed. Plenty of pots and pans and utensils. The pool table was great for a little after dinner enjoyment. The beds were very comfortable with 2 bedrooms offering lake views. The owner was extremely responsive and accommodating. I would absolutely recommend this house to anyone looking for a nice retreat.

A Perfect Place To Stay

We had a wonderful family week. Everything was as promised. We were a large group ranging from ages 96 down to 1 plus 3 dogs, and to please all of them can be tough. There was plenty of space to gather as a group or to go off to be alone. We rented a canoe for the week so everone had a turn to paddle around the island. Just around the bend from the house was a small island with Bald Eagles. What a treat to view them up close. The water was so clean and calm, people and dogs loved it. There was plenty to do all around the lake from shopping to museums to eating to sight seeing, and back at the cottage there were nightly pool and ping pong games. The outside deck was perfect to sit and relax and large enough to have meals. Everything was in excellent condition and it felt like home after about a day. The only thing we missed was not being able to use the firepit to sit out at night and make smores. We went to the fire dept to get a permit but the told us the owner had to send them a letter to give their approval. Oh Well, we survived. All in all it was a wonderful week and very accomodating for larger groups.

Spectacular Setting - Family Fun!!!

We had a wonderful, relaxing week at this family friendly home. There is easy access into the crystal clear water from the shore and the water is deep enough to jump off from the end of the dock. The porch is huge, we ate most meals outside. Stunning sunsets! We had a blast holding nightly ping pong and pool tournaments. It's a quick ride to Center Harbor where you will find a large supermarket as well as restaurants and ice cream shop. Thanks for a fantastic stay. We hope to be back in 2014!

Awesome sunsets!

We stayed at this home on two different occasions, and we found it to be clean and as described. The first was in the fall a couple of years ago, and then this past summer my extended family wanted a place where we could all gather, and we knew that this work work well for us. Our favorite spot is the lengthy front porch where we gathered for peaceful morning coffees and gorgeous evening sunsets. We have stayed at other locations on the lake, and have found that the part of the lake where this home is located is more calm than other parts, and is perfect for kayaking, canoeing, and ice-like early morning skiing. The property was well-maintained and the huge interior wooden beams reminded us of ski lodges that we've stayed in out west. We may try it for a ski weekend this winter.
