Great Cabin Adventure!

We loved our stay at this cabin! There was something for everyone to do and we especially loved having the kayaks and paddleboat. The cabin owners had timely communication and were available to answer and questions or concerns we had. Will definitely consider staying again!

Our stay in the Northwoods

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. It is very remote and away from the hustle and bustle of life! It is so quiet and relaxing there. We enjoyed hearing the loons throughout the day. The cabin was very clean and accomodating. The gravel road to the cabin seemed a bit long but it was a manageable drive and well worth it when we got to the cabin. We appreciated all of the water craft that was available for us to use as well as the washer and dryer. The owners were very helpful with any questions we had. We would recommend this vacation spot to anyone!

Peaceful getaway

This property was a beautiful spot to relax at with our family for a week. The property is very private with beautiful water views. The house had everything we needed, and our adult family of 7 had plenty of comfortable beds to choose from. The big table was the perfect spot to share many meals together as well as some card games. We made good use of the two kayaks and the paddleboat. There was a family of loons that visited us a few times during the week we were at the cabin. The only complaint we would have is the mosquitos and black flies were very abundant, so be sure to bring some good bug spray. Steve and Sandy were very easy to communicate with and work with for check in and checkout. We would highly recommend this cabin for a family vacation!

Beautiful property, very private

We were worried as we traveled the long gravel road to get to the property; however, once we got there, it is beautiful! Very clean, new and nice. The property is gorgeous! The boat landing is close to the property for launching our personal boat, and our kids loved using the kayaks provided by the owners. This spot is very private; and not much traffic on the lake. We enjoyed boating over to Bear Chasers bar and grill for a snack and game of darts. The only downfall is the gravel road. It takes 40 minutes to get to town because of the road, so make sure you bring all the supplies you need for your wonderful family get away!

Awesome Northwoods getaway!

We had a spectacular two weeks at Eagle Point Cabin! Lots of personal touches and many above-average indoor (cooking supplies, hand-made dining room table) and outdoor (boats, fire pit, gas grill) amenities helped make the stay even more enjoyable. The lake is fairly quiet with lots of interesting wildlife: we saw loons, otters, beavers, eagles, osprey, deer and more. Two docks with two different views! Excellent star-gazing. The cabin and the lake are well off the beaten path down gravel roads, so come prepared: groceries and restaurants are a good 45 minutes away. Great place for a quiet Northwoods getaway!

Relaxing vacation!

This was our 4th year at this property, and we had a great time, as usual! Very secluded, lots of wildlife, and not much lake traffic. A clean, modern cabin with lots of room, satellite/smart tv, and internet. Great communication with the owners, who are always helpful & nice. We hope to stay again next year!

Beautiful!

Our family enjoyed every minute at the Eagle Point Cabin. Beautiful views and peaceful nights on the water. The house was very clean and had everything we would ever need. The location was perfect if you want privacy, but also not too far away from the UP if you want to do any day trips. Our kids enjoyed fishing, kayaking, and swimming. We would definitely love to book again.

Amazing little getaway in the middle of the Northwoods!

Let me start off by saying this property is beautifully kept and was immaculate when we arrived. It’s clear they take very good care of their property and we’re well prepared for guests. They even had ice already made for us! The cabin has a beautiful view of the lake and the screened in porch was fabulous! It’s where we spent most of our evenings. We were primarily up here for an ATV trip and were able to leave right from the front porch, which was awesome. This house was near all of the iron county trails so it was perfect for us. There were only a couple hiccups, one being that the water/toilet seemed to run intermittently in the middle of the night. You could hear it run as if the toilet was still filling but would eventually stop. The shower also squealed quite a bit when people were using it. Other than those two minor things, our stay was amazing. We really enjoyed our little vacation and would gladly come back!

Great family Cabin

We had a wonderful week at this clean, modern cabin. The bumpy gravel road trek was worth it for the great location on a big, clean lake. We enjoyed exploring and fell in love with the river otters that would visit us occasionally. Already thinking of booking again next year. A big thank you to this family for sharing their much loved cabin with us!

Great family vacation!

Beautiful, modern, quiet, large cabin, with wonderful owners & great scenery with a view of the sunrise over the lake. The kids love using the kayaks and rowboat, watching all of the wildlife, and of course fishing all day long. This was our 3rd year (the trip up was even better now that the potholes in the last half mile have been fixed!) and we just booked for next year! :)

Perfect Remote Getaway

The house is immaculate and exactly as described. Our family of 5 fit with more than enough room. The owners had all the items one needs to cook a full meal for a big family. The owners were so helpful and communicative. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

Memorable family summer getaway!

Steve & Sandy were wonderful to work with! The cabin is very welcoming, spacious, and immaculately cared for. Lots of wildlife on a very quiet area of the bay. Best fishing in years on this lake! Our family spent 5 days here with grandparents, aunts, uncles, and our children (7yo, and 4yo twins). Plenty of space to sleep with a great loft area. Screened porch was used for games at night when the kids went to bed. Low traffic from other boaters by the dock and pier which was appreciated with our kayaks, fishing and swimming. Saw deer, otters, ducks, geese, and fed 2 chipmunks from our hand! Great campfires in the evening while we enjoyed our s’mores. Cabin has great decor with stories written in a binder on how the pieces were accumulated and their history. It was fun reading the stories in a book of the memories others have made there over the years. We are so happy to have been able to enjoy this special place and will definitely be back again next year!

Just what we needed.

If you want a place where you can have peace and quite. Then this is the place for you. The cabin was well stocked with everything we needed, plenty of room for us all and planty of things to keep everybody entertained. We had such a great time we didn't want to come home. The only draw back was the mosquitoes but that is mother nature for you.

Home away from home

This cabin has everything you need for a nice relaxing family vacation. The screened in porch is great for board games and relaxing at night, and two docks are available for fishing and swimming. The cabin is so clean and well organized! The owners were available for helpful tips about the area, and you can really feel the love and time they put into the cabin.

Great quiet spot on the lake

We had a really good time here, able to get some peace and quiet and enjoy the lake. The fishing is good, (we even got a couple bites right off the dock) and the lake is picturesque with an island and rivers. The cabin is really nicely done and stocked with all the bedding, towels, and kitchenware you'd need. It sits on a nice piece of land tucked into the Wisconsin north woods, so expect a bit of a hike to the nearest town. On the plus side it's quiet, and though we didn't come for hunting, it's a great place for that, as well as snowmobiles/ATVs (there are trails all around the area). Steve and Sandy were excellent hosts, made us feel welcome and were responsive to my questions mid-stay. We're definitely planning a return trip.

Great Northwoods cabin on the lake!

We had a great stay with our three kids. The cabin is immaculate and very well-constructed with plenty of space. The two downstairs bedrooms have very comfortable beds and good closet space. Plus, the loft is very large with several other comfy beds. The cabin is even better in person than shown on the website, it really is a great place. We used the fire pit and boats, plus fished off the docks and rode our bikes and ATVs right from the property. Fishing was good when we visited - we caught Muskie, Crappie, Bass and Blue Gill with nightcrawlers and lures. The cabin has everything you need (or you forgot something.). We used the washer and dryer daily, which was great due to the cooler weather while we visited. We highly recommend a visit to the cabin, The owners were awesome and extremely communicative. The drive on the dirt road was beautiful and we appreciated feeling like we were getting away but still having other cabins around the lake. Book a stay, you will be glad you did!

Family vacation 2020

We had a fantastic time at the cabin. We had every amenity we needed. We even got to see a doe, a frog and some loons. We enjoyed the games and time fishing even though only 1 person caught something. We still had fun and had time to relax.
