Nestled high above the street, surrounded by untouched land, our property serves as a daily passage for LA's wildlife, including coyotes, skunks, deer, and many other creatures. Owls have made a home in the owl box atop the driveway, while red-tailed hawks gracefully patrol the skies, riding the afternoon thermals. Oaks, pines, and tall palm trees encircle the views, offering a rare sense of nature's isolation in the midst of bustling LA.

Your stay will be in utmost comfort with two King master rooms, one featuring an attached bathroom with a tub, shower, and double sinks. The other master room opens directly to the pool, granting access to the beautiful outdoors. Two additional spacious rooms with full-size beds and walk-in closets provide ample space for relaxation, and each door can be securely locked for privacy.

Our main master room features a working space and TV, a walk-in closet, and dual exits with keypad locks for added security. The main living space is a generously open area, offering views of the yard through a line of French doors and windows, allowing nature to seamlessly blend with the indoors. Natural light fills the space throughout the day, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The fully equipped kitchen includes all essential appliances, such as a coffee machine, blender, toaster, air fryer, microwave, oven, and gas range cooktop, along with all necessary cookware. Gather around the large rustic dining table that can accommodate up to 10 people, where you can enjoy meals, conversations, or cooking together.

Our home is perfect for a family getaway, providing entertainment with a smart TV featuring open channels like Disney+. You'll also find a washer & dryer area and central AC for heating and cooling. The front yard deck offers comfortable lounge areas, a dining table, and a propane BBQ grill.

Our pool is a diving pool, offering a fun slide for the young ones, and it's deep enough for jumping. Although it's not heated, the water temperature tends to be pleasantly warm during LA's summers and spring.

Outside, you'll find a seating area, lounge chairs for sunbathing, a small basketball court, and a large trampoline for added fun.

While our home is not newly constructed, the kitchen, bathrooms, windows, and doors have been updated, along with all the house appliances, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Ascend the hill through our driveway, which leads you almost to the front door, offering ample parking space for up to 4 cars. Upon arrival, you'll be provided with a gate code to enter the bottom of the driveway.

Pool:

Our pool is a delightful retreat, although it's important to note that it's not heated. This older-style dive pool is deep and nestled beneath beautiful old trees, occasionally collecting leaves. Pool maintenance is typically done on Fridays to ensure a clean and enjoyable experience.

Driveway:

The driveway road leading up is shared with our neighbor from the property in the lower part of the hill. Rest assured that your parking area is entirely separated and reserved for your convenience.

WIFI and Power:

We strive to provide a seamless experience with our Wifi and remote-controlled systems. However, please be aware that power outages may occur during extremely windy or severe weather conditions. For your peace of mind, our home is equipped with a large battery power system that helps keep the house running in case of power outages in the neighborhood.

Service & Reception:

While phone service may be limited up in the hills, we've got you covered with a strong and reliable WIFI connection. Upon arrival, you'll find detailed WIFI instructions framed in the property, ensuring you can quickly connect to the internet. We recommend using FaceTime for clear communication.

Orders / UBER / LYFT:

If you're expecting deliveries or plan to use ride-sharing services, kindly provide drivers with clear instructions, including the code for the gate and a brief explanation of the shared driveway arrangement. Communication can be challenging in hillside neighborhoods with limited reception, so these instructions will help ensure smooth transactions.

Pets:

While we love pets, we advise keeping them close to you at all times during your stay. The area around our property serves as a path for wild animals, making it unsafe to leave pets unattended outside. Your pet's safety and well-being are our top priority.
Please let us know when you checked in if anything requires our attention.
We get a cleaning report from our team to address any issue you may find.

Our smoking Policy is Strict, this is a non-smoking property, located in a High-Risk Fire Zone! Please do not smoke inside the property! If you smoke outdoors, please do so in the front yard and keep the sliding door and windows closed. Our smoking policy is VERY Strict. If there are smoke smells in the home, you may pay a fine up to $500.

We are located in a residential community and, although this is a holiday destination, it's home to many people. As such we ask that you respect their privacy and their right to a peaceful existence! Specifically, between the hours of 10 pm and 7 am noise should be kept to a minimum.

Please do not host additional guests other than the number listed in your reservation.

-Damages
We understand that sometimes accidents happen! Should you break anything please let us know immediately - if it's minor we usually won't charge. If it's a larger issue (e.g. the TV screen!) we would like to agree on the cost with you before you leave to avoid any issues later. Thank you!

Pets must be groomed and well-trained. They are not allowed on the sofas (indoors/out) or in beds at any time!!
Pets should not be left alone in the property or outdoors while you are not there. Please make sure to clean up your pet before you leave.

**Please note that there is a pet fee of $150 for up to 2 pets. When booking we will request a $500 deposit and deduct the pet fee when returning the deposit. Failure to notify us of a pet will result in a $300 pet fee.

Wonderful dream getaway
This is one of the best vacation homes our family has ever stayed at. We usually rely on reviews when finalizing a vacation rental decision, but I’m so glad we went through with this one despite it not having any reviews yet. The communication with the host was smoothness throughout, they were very responsive. The house is gorgeous and has all amenities one might need, very thoughtfully stocked. The outdoors patio is beautiful and huge with gorgeous views of that side of the hills. Our boys were ecstatic to even find a mini basketball court in the back! The location is a bit tucked away, but really just about a 15 minutes drive to the Sunset strip, with traffic. The turn to get into the driveway is a bit tricky, we found it safer to take a u-turn in the small lateral street just ahead of it. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a comfortable, upscale accommodation in the mythic Hollywood Hills.
