Away from the beaten path. Relax in this calm, stylish, newly refurbished single-level 100m² villa with a fully enclosed garden, central air-conditioning and modern amenities. Whether you are here on a short relaxing trip or staying for longer, the house has been thoughtfully planned and designed to be a comfortable and welcoming home away from home. Come enjoy a refreshing dip in the private pool, a leisurely siesta in the garden, or al fresco dining on the patio in the evenings.
Full of natural light, the house has a large (55m²) living room with comfortable seating, a dedicated work zone, and a dinning area with a round extendable table and chairs. A large bedroom (13m²) with a double bed (135cm), and a further bedroom (10m²) with two single beds, either of which can be transformed into a queen size bed, means the house can easily accommodate up to 5 people plus an infant in a cot. A spacious modern shower room and a fully equipped open-style kitchen complete the space.
Outside, overlooking the 40m² swimming pool, is a large garden and patio with pergola, a dinning area, loungers, a relaxing sitting area, an external shower and a gas barbecue. Benefiting from lights that come on automatically at dusk, you will be able to relax and enjoy this space day and night.
The kitchen comes with a large fridge freezer, a vitroceramic 3 ring hob and an electric oven, a microwave, a dishwasher (45cm) and a large washing machine (up to 10kg) and dryer. There are 2 exterior clothes racks and an interior clothes airer should you prefer to dry your clothes naturally.
To make your stay more comfortable, bottled water, ice and a selection of provisions (olive oil, vinegar, salt, herbs and spices, sugar, sweetener, tea bags and coffee capsules) will be available on arrival. A kettle, toaster, coffee machines (filter and capsules), a blender, citric fruit juicer and a sandwich maker are provided as well. Should you require anything else feel free to ask as I am happy to help.
In addition to the welcome cooling central air-conditioning during the summer months, for the cooler winter months, there are radiators in all bedrooms, the living room, and a ladder radiator in the shower-room.
All bedroom windows have blinds and curtains, mosquito nets and exterior shutters. There are integrated USB chargers beside the beds, as well as USB sockets in the kitchen and the living room. Electric fans can be provided upon request.
The TV comes with Netflix and Amazon Prime, as well as Spanish channels and an array of international channels (All UK channels including all Sky channels, all French channels including Canal+, German, American, Portuguese, Italian etc.)
The internet connection is via an antenna and, although the speed varies, it is usually around 70Mbps. An additional connection (similar to the first) is available if you need to work while staying with us. Occasional bad weather might affect the connection and speed.
There is an electrical socket at the front of the property should you want to charge your electric car. please note that this is just a normal socket not a fast charger.
Most of the electricity used, particularly in summer, is produced by our 16 panel PV system (with an output of 8.5Mwh/year). The water we use in the house and in the garden comes from a 80 metre deep well located on the plot.

Guests have access to the 100m² house itself, the 900m² fully enclosed private garden and 40m² private swimming pool. The house has on site parking space for 2 cars on a shingled driveway. For maximum comfort, the fully secured and lockable, automatic gate opens and closes via a remote.
A short walk away you can find a communal children's playground, a basketball court and a pétanque pitch. A tennis court is available by prior arrangement.
Luggage storage is available should you arrive early or depart late.
Nice, friendly, and well-behaved dogs might be allowed by prior arrangement. Please advise if you need beds and bowls for them.
Dog owners are responsible for picking up their dog's mess in the garden. They are also responsible for any damage their dog(s) might do to the house, garden, furniture and contents. Please ensure that the garden is clean and cleared of any dog mess before your departure.

I live next door and have 2 very friendly large dogs of my own. They do not have access to the garden or the house, as there is a fence between the two plots.
The property is a registered vacation home. For security, and similar to a hotel check-in, in accordance to Spanish law (Decreto Ley 933/2021), all guests, whatever their nationality or age, are required to register upon arrival. This is done via a form that is submitted to the authorities. You will need to provide Identity Cards/Passports, addresses, emails and contact details for all guests. If any minors are part of the group you will need to state their relationship to you and/or other guests.
The Cataluña tourist tax (€1 per day) is included in the booking price.
Please note that no smoking is allowed anywhere inside the house. No loud music or parties allowed.

The swimming pool is cleaned at least once a week and the garden is maintained regularly.
If you are having a late arrival, I can do your shopping for you before you arrive. The local Mercadona supermarket also makes home deliveries.
