Other Things to Note:
-Stairs-
The stairs leading to the lower level of the house are quite steep. If anyone in your group has difficulty climbing stairs, they should consider staying on the entrance level, which is the top level.
-Kayaks-
Each home rental includes kayaks with a provided storage code. Please return and lock the kayaks after use; failure to do so will incur fees. Various flotation vests are available, but bringing your own is recommended for a proper fit.
-Pet Policy-
Pets are allowed but must stay off furniture and beds. Bring your own pet beds, towels, and blankets. Since the yard is not fenced, pets should not roam freely, and you are responsible for their behavior. Please clean up after your pet. A $50 pet fee is required and is due for each pet. Fee is payable through Airbnb reservation although it seems limited to 1 pet. Additional or missed fee inclusions at the time of reservation can be paid in cash upon checkout or arranged in advance. Additional charges may apply for pets on furniture, excessive mess, or property damage.
-Linens & Towels-
We ensure that clean, fresh bed linens are supplied for every bed. Additionally, we will provide towels for bathing and showering. Please note that these towels are not intended for use at the river so we recommend bringing your own beach towels.
-Ice & Water-
This house is equipped with a country water well. Some guests have noted that they don't enjoy the taste of the tap water, so we recommend bringing your own drinking water. Please be aware that there are no ice-makers available in the home, so plan accordingly for your ice needs.
-Paper Products-
At the beginning of your stay, we supply a standard and sufficient quantity of toilet paper and paper towels. Depending on the size of your group and the duration of your visit, it's wise to prepare for any extra paper products your group might require.
-Televisions-
Televisions are available in the living areas and select bedrooms. Each TV comes with Roku devices, allowing you to log in to your personal streaming accounts.
-Grill-
A charcoal grill is provided, but you are required to bring your own charcoal, lighter fluid, and lighter. (Please note that the county burn ban does not affect outdoor grilling.)
-Fire Pit-
You'll need to bring your own firewood for the fire pit. You're welcome to gather fallen wood from the property. Please note that campfires are NOT permitted during a county burn ban. Be sure to check the burn ban status on the Comal County website.
-Dumpster-
A dumpster can be found at the end of the driveway, close to the road. Guests are required to dispose of all trash from the house before they leave.
-Noise-
There may be noise coming from the neighboring campground, especially during weekends when events and concerts take place.
-Pest Control-
We are located in a rural area surrounded by numerous trees, so encountering insects is quite typical for rentals in this region. However, please be assured that we conduct quarterly pest control to effectively manage any bug issues.
-Picture Representation-
Images may depict previous decor and furnishings, including outdoor seating areas. When items are lost or damaged, we strive to replace them with similar ones as promptly as possible. Some replacements may take place in the following season.
