Important Property Notes
• Firewood is not provided for guest use. If you plan on using the wood-burning amenities, please purchase wood locally upon arrival.
• Smoking Prohibited. Please note, smoking is not allowed at High Top Mountain Retreat. Guests are prohibited from smoking both on the interior and exterior of the property, and this rule is strictly enforced. Thank you for your understanding.
• High Top Mountain Retreat is located in a quiet mountain neighborhood. This home is under a noise ordinance between 9:00 p.m. and 8 a.m. and has a very low noise tolerance. Please be mindful that noise travels far in the mountains.
• ATVs or Motorcycles are not permitted due to a local ordinance, thank you.
• 4WD/AWD Required in Winter: During the winter months (Nov. 1st - Mar 31st) and inclement weather, a 4WD/AWD vehicle is required to access this property. Please ensure your vehicle has sufficient clearance (i.e. SUV, Truck, or raised sedan). Low-clearance vehicles with 4WD/AWD are not recommended.
• Travel Insurance Highly Recommended
During the winter months, we highly recommend you consider CSA Travel Insurance to protect your vacation investment from potential winter weather events that could prevent access to the home. No refunds shall be provided if you cannot access the home due to winter weather.
• Outdoor Shower Closed in Winter. Please note, that the outdoor shower at High Top Mountain Retreat is closed annually from October 15th to April 15th to avoid burst water pipes due to winter weather.
