You will love the warmth and comfort of this eclectic mid-century home. Located in the heart of the Hancock neighborhood, this home is just 1 mile from UT-Austin, St. David's Medical & 10 minutes to Downtown, Rainey & 6th. These are two separate units that are attached so you will have two kitchens, two living rooms, 5 bedrooms, 2 baths, and a shared courtyard with dining and gas grills. Great for two families traveling together or friends to have separate spaces but come together. Pet friendly!

We're conveniently located just across the Hancock Golf Course & Park where you can enjoy a nice walk on the trail. A ten minute walk will get you to one of the coolest neighborhoods in Austin- Hyde Park where you'll find many excellent restaurants, bars, and coffee shops! This home is HIGHLY desirable for UT Football games - you'll enjoy free parking here and a brief 20 minute walk will get you to UT and the stadium! This home is also a popular location for UT SWIM meets as we're only a 5 minute drive to the Lee & Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center.

The home is a duplex. These are two separate units that are attached so you will have two kitchens a shared courtyard. Great for two families traveling together or friends. The units are immediately accessible to one another through the courtyard.

There are five bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Unit A - 3 bedrooms, 2 King Beds, 1 Queen Bed, + 1 Futon
Unit B - 2 bedrooms, 1 King Bed, 1 Queen bed, + air mattress

The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped. There are board games available for your use plus a washer and dryer in unit.

Fenced-in backyard and doggie door for friendly, well-behaved pets up to date on flea, tick & vaccinations. Please let us know if you will be bringing a pet, $30 pet fee per pet per night applies.

About the Hancock neighborhood: "Located just north of Downtown, Hancock is home to ambitious professionals, laid-back creative types, and University of Texas students. Getting around this residential neighborhood often involves walking, jogging, or biking to its local bars, cafes, and eateries renowned for their outdoor patios and intimate vibes. Hancock’s soothing atmosphere makes it seem far away from 6th Street’s noise, but jump on the interstate bordering this neighborhood and you’ll be Downtown before the band goes on break.

Rental Rules
We love that we can share our home with you but please treat the home, belongings, and property with care. We reserve the right to remove guests without refund for violating these house rules, misuse of the space as a short-term lodging accommodation, or conduct that disturbs the general peace and comfort of other guests, managers, property caretakers, and homeowners.

1. Parents/Guardians must closely supervise their toddlers and children at all times.

2. Well-behaved and well-trained pets may be permitted with prior approval from the host. An additional fee of $30.00USD per pet per night applies. Pets must be treated with flea & tick preventative and up to date on shots.

3. No Unregistered Guests. Please abide by occupancy limits. People other than those set forth above may not be on the property at any given time. Any person on the property is the sole responsibility of Guest. If there are more guests than disclosed in the Rental Party, Guest will be charged $50 per additional guest for each day of the reservation and all guests may be evicted without refund and a $250.00USD service fee.

4. The property is privately owned; the owners or property manager are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities.

5. The Homeowners, Bonhost LLC and its representatives are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.

6. No illegal substances are to be used, sold, or distributed on the property.

7. No parties and/or loud music. Please respect the neighbors and their privacy. The property is equipped with a noise monitoring system. Excessive noise may result in termination of your stay without refund and a $250.00USD service fee.

8. Keep the property and all furnishings in good order. If any furniture is moved, please move it back to its original position upon checkout.

9. Smoking is allowed outside only. Please dispose of cigarette butts in the outdoor trash. You will be charged $500.00USD if we suspect smoking indoors and additional remediation expenses may be imposed.

10. Only use appliances for their intended uses.

11. Practice safety at all times.

12. Parking: Please refer to house manual for parking instructions. Any illegally parked cars are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.

13. Housekeeping: Please keep the home tidy and follow checkout procedures. There is no daily housekeeping service. Daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, we do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the Unit. Do not leave wet towels on the furniture.

14. Checkout is at 11:00AM. Late checkouts may be subject to a $50.00 per hour fee as we often have new guests arriving and schedule cleaners to arrive soon after 11:00AM.

15. Weather, Disease, Acts of God and Unforeseen Circumstances:
Bonhost, LLC is not liable for any inconveniences, delays, or Guests inability to access a unit as a result of any temporary or permanent issues which arise from weather, construction, road closures or conditions, natural disasters, reasons for travel including the cancelation of events or conferences, government orders, diseases, pandemics, viruses, illnesses, closings, pollution or other acts of God which are beyond Bonhost, LLC’s control. No refunds will be given for any inconveniences, delays or cancellations due to, but not limited to, aforementioned conditions. We encourage Guest to purchase a travel insurance policy that will allow you to cancel for any reason.

Pleasantly Surprised!

The property exceeded our expectations. It was clean, simple, nicely decorated w/ local prints and posters. The beds and bed linens wetr comfortable and there was plenty of coffee on hand! We were in town for the Austin Gran Prix, a family trip with my brothers and our sons. While we had to Uber most places, you could walk 6-8 blocks to several good restaurants. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you for hosting us!

Great spot to stay near UT

Met up with 4 friends to go to a UT football game. The location of this property was perfect and within easy walking distance to the stadium. We loved the fact that there are 5 bedrooms, so we all had our own space. The property was clean, and well furnished with everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again if we are in Austin! The only part that wasn't great was the accuracy of the listing. Instead of having an optional damage insurance policy as it stated in the listing, I was informed a few weeks before arriving that this was a required policy (or a $1500 refundable deposit). I hope this has now been updated in the listing so it is clear what all the fees are. Property was great though, so the only frustration was on the transparency of all required fees and processes (ID verification) before booking the property.
