Eule Schrei ist eine moderne westliche Zeder Hause mit einer Ganzglas Bug vorne mit Blick auf einen 5-Morgen-Wiese, Bach und Rich-Berg.

Eule Schrei ist ein komfortables, gut ausgestattete Haus ... nicht eine andere Cookie-Cutter, Doppelgänger, Streifen-down Mieteinheit. Es ist geschmackvoll mit lokalen Kunstwerke, Antiquitäten, neue Wohnzimmer und Schlafzimmer eingerichtet und Annehmlichkeiten für den anspruchsvollen Reisenden ausgestattet. Unser einzigartiges Dekor spiegelt die natürliche Schönheit und Ruhe der Berglandschaft. Die Hauptebene verfügt über eine geräumige, offene Küche / Wohn- / Esszimmer Kombination mit hoher Decke, Kamin und massiven Fenstern. Zwei reizende Schlafzimmer und ein Vollbad mit Oberlicht runden die Hauptebene heraus.

Im Obergeschoss bietet das Open-Loft-Schlafzimmer hat ein neues französisches Bett, und eine einzigartige circa der 1800er Schlitten Tagesbett. Eine luxuriöse Garten Bad grenzt, mit einem Oberlicht und Jacuzzi umgeben von tropischen Pflanzen.

Lassen Sie Ihre Haustiere an der gated umlaufende Terrasse oder auf der Wiese herumlaufen. Genießen Sie ein Glas Wein in der privaten Pavillon. Achten Sie auf die spät in der Nacht Eulen. The perfect place in the best location

This is a wonderful place to stay for a family. It has a terrific layout. There was a large kitchen and plenty of kitchen utensils and dishes for us. My grandchildren loved the wrap around deck and covered outdoor porch with a porch swing. We would sit there and read books. There were also a lot of games and puzzles that we all enjoyed. I do hope to stay again and to stay longer the next time.

Quiet side of the Smokies

This property felt like home. Fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. Fantastic area for the dogs to go potty. Our dogs enjoyed morning walks in the meadow as did we. Property is about 30 minutes from the hustle of Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg but the drive to either was easy. There’s plenty of things to see in Townsend and delicious restaurants and coffee shops. We hope to come back again sometime soon.

Owls Hoot retreat

Wonderful property. Great proximity to national park and local attractions, but far enough away to keep you out of traffic! Home was very well appointed with little extras like coffee/tea/condiments, books, games and toiletries. Great beds and furniture, clean and organized. The location, view and outdoor areas were spectacular. Again the little extras like charcoal, firewood made the difference. Pet friendly -all the decking and gazebo had gates so you could enjoy the outdoors with your pet contained in the same space. We will be booking again.

Peaceful

Needed a restful time between the holidays and Owl’s Hoot in Townsend was the perfect place. Very nice cabin and nicely decorated for Christmas. The view is very nice and peaceful.

Great location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was in a good location, tucked away from a busy area, but close enough for a scenic drive to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Plenty of room for a group of people and very accommodating.

Cute and Convenient Cabin!

We loved our stay at the Owl's Hoot cabin! Myra and Rob were very easy to work with! The cabin was in excellent condition and the location was wonderful! We were convenient to everything but it was nice and quiet! We will definitely book again if we come back to the area!

Peaceful mountain home

The home was well maintained, nicely decorated, and stocked with all the amenities of home. The wrap around deck with the locked gates were great to let the dog walk around. The views of the meadow and creek were serene. So relaxing to only hear the sounds of nature! Two bears walked about the property on a daily basis. They did not act aggressively, but we were very cautious when outside.

Tranquility

We have traveled to the Pigeon Forge / Gatlinburg area several times and this was our first time to stay in Townsend. It truly is the "peaceful side" of the Smoky Mountains. This chalet was perfect. Everything you need is provided and it was super clean. The chalet feels secluded yet close to everything we wanted to do. Only a 25-30 minute drive to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and you drive through some pretty areas to get there.

Owls Hoot

The cabin was amazing! On two different occasions we saw a bear strolling through the meadow! The deck was a great place to sit in the early morning and evening to watch the wildlife. Great location and Myra and Rob are absolutely wonderful! We depend the entire last day of our stay at the cabin and both our daughters are looking forward to our next visit and have already requested that we stay here again!! 5 stars all the way!

Peaceful seclusion minutes from the park

Beautiful home and property, well maintained with lots of gorgeous outdoor seating. Townsend and the park are only a minute away yet the house is tucked away and secluded. Plentiful wildlife and plants to enjoy - a bear strolled by on the lawn while we were eating lunch on the back deck one day! Thankfully there are multiple gates in the back area to keep pets and kids safe.

Great vacation!

We had a wonderful vacation at this cabin! It is so close to the great smoky mountain entrance. The cabin was clean and tidy with all of the amenities needed for a week long stay. The kitchen is stocked will all cooking supplies to cook meals as well. On our last day, we saw a black bear and her cubs in the meadow, so be cautious if you have dogs but WHAT A TREAT! I have never been more excited. We would recommend this cabin with five stars and the best part is they allowed our two dogs to join us on our stay.

Myra and Rob are pleased to offer our family cabin, which has been in Myra’s family since it was built in 1992. Rob and I met several years ago, hiking in the Smokies, one of many outdoor activities we enjoy. We were married in the meadow at Owl’s Hoot Chalet in April 2012. We live in nearby Maryville and seek every opportunity to “work” at Owl’s Hoot.

When we’re not renovating and managing our homes, Rob and I enjoy travelling, gardening, movies, cooking and eating, arts and crafts, live music, and adoring our grandkids. Our family includes a Blue Heeler and a Mountain Cur/Blue Heeler mix (both rescues), who love to play in the Owl’s Hoot meadow!

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

I (Myra) grew up in nearby Maryville, and my family has a long history in and deep love for Townsend. My mom, Jo Hendren, founded Hideaway Cottages and Log Cabins in 1979—providing the very first rental cabin in Townsend. She and my stepdad later bought 20 acres in the same mountain hollow to save it from being sold to a strip-mall developer. They divided the property into 11 lots, restricted the design and placement of cabins to preserve the ecological setting of the hollow, and built Owl’s Hoot Chalet on one of the lots in 1992. I helped my mom manage Hideaway Cottages for several years. They eventually sold the business but kept Owl's Hoot in the family, with Myra and Rob managing it since 2013.

We also own 3 lots next to Owl's Hoot Chalet to preserve the land and ensure seclusion for our guests. We also own a small long-term rental on the same road. We do business as Smokies Cabins. Find us on the web for more information.

We focus on anticipating our guests' needs and providing the amenities you want and need. Spices, locally ground gourmet coffee, and tea; detergents, cleaning supplies, ample paper products; organic, eco-friendly, spa-grade toiletries; and area resource books, novels, games, and puzzles. We have encased all box springs, mattresses, and pillows in bed bug, allergen protective covers. Just think of all the things you don't have to bring or buy or worry about. Now that's value!

In addition to our love for Owl's Hoot Chalet and its peaceful setting, Rob and I bring unique qualifications to managing a rental cabin and providing the best customer service to our guests. For starters, we own and manage a few other rental homes, and I have 40 years of property management experience. Rob is a home improvement specialist. In addition, I wrote hundreds of articles about decorating and landscaping for HGTV and learned a lot along the way.

In 2013 Rob and I took over the management of Owl’s Hoot, which had been managed by two other local management companies, because they didn’t meet our standards for cleanliness and maintenance. We’re always making improvements, but you can count on this: Owl’s Hoot Chalet will be clean, very comfortable, and better appointed than most Townsend cabins. All that, in a relaxing setting with beautiful views.

What does our experience mean to you? It means that you get attentive, timely service and a tastefully decorated, well-maintained vacation home. Hey, you’re on vacation. You deserve to be spoiled!
