ELEGANT OCEAN FRONT BEACH COTTAGE

Es tut uns leid ..... 31 Tage oder mehr vermietet. Dies ist nicht nur eine kurze - Zeitmiete.

Nichts zwischen Ihnen und dem Ozean auf den Klippen des Fitzgerald Marine Reserve entlang der Küste von San Mateo County. Ein paar Meilen von Half Moon Bay, Fünfzehn Minuten vom San Francisco Airport, ein friedlicher Rückzugsort in unserer Küstengemeinde von Moss Beach.

Sie haben, auf einem unglaublichen Ozean, direkt am Strand Immobilien gestolpert. Diese Half Moon Bay, Cottage ist luxuriös mit unseren Gästen Komfort und Privatsphäre unserer Priorität eingerichtet. Einschlafen und Aufwachen 30 Feet aus dem Pazifischen Ozean ist wie ein Traum. Es ist wirklich, ist nicht viel besser.

Nicht geeignet für kleine Kinder gibt es einen 40 Fuß-Klippe zum Strand unten, am Ende unser Eigentum.

Der gemeinsame, hat Gartenbereich ein Gas firepit, mit einer Lounge Schnitt Blick auf den Ozean. Nichts zwischen Ihnen und dem weiten Pazifischen Ozean. Dieser Bereich ist zwischen unseren beiden Hütten geteilt, liegt von den Cottages weit genug entfernt, um private Zeit mit der schönen Aussicht auf den Ozean haben.

Es gibt zwei getrennte Häuser auf diesem Grundstück. Diese zwei Cottages wurden im Jahr 1906 besucht von Jack London gebaut. Sie haben beide den vollen Nutzen aus den Meerblick zu nehmen entwickelt, sind Sie in der Lage das Meer von jedem lebenden Raum innerhalb jeder Hütte, einschließlich jeder bequemen King-Bett zu sehen.

Das luxuriöse Kingsize-Bett ist ein weißes Leder Kissen Top Kingsize-Bett mit einem zusätzlichen Memory-Foam für eine unglaubliche Schlaf Nächte. Unsere Gäste einander wiederholen, wie den Besuch dieser nahe am Meer ist entspannend, rejuvinating für den Körper und die Seele. Sie können nicht auf den Ozean näher sein, es sei denn, Sie unten am Strand lagerten.

Der Gartenbereich befindet sich zwischen den zwei auf dem Land geteilt. Es gibt eine Lounge-Sitzbereich rund um die Gas-Feuerstelle auch Liege Liegestühlen. Für Ihre Privatsphäre haben sie beide ihre eigenen privaten Decking mit schönen Gartenmöbeln. Es ist alles über Ihren Komfort, Ihre Privatsphäre mit Blick auf den Ozean.

Innerhalb einer Minute von der Haustür Ihr in der Lage unten an den Strand zu gehen. Die Erforschung der Gezeiten-Pools bei Ebbe ist eine weitere Aktivität, bringen feste Schuhe. Sie können eine einfache 5-minütige Wanderung durch ein magisches 100 Jahre alten Cypress Wald oberhalb des Meeres Zuflucht nehmen. Dieses 5 min. Wanderung führt zu einem weiteren schönen ruhigen Sandstrand zu erkunden. Weitere 5 Minuten zu Fuß zur Distillery Restaurant befindet sich auf einer Klippe mit Blick auf den Ozean, mit der Legende von der Blue Lady.

Die Nähe unserer Hütte zu Wandern, Strände, Hafen und Restaurants ist innerhalb von 3 Meilen. Es gibt eine gepflasterte Fahrrad / Wanderweg von der Princeton Harbor zu Half Moon Bay entlang der wunderschönen Strände an der Küste (ca. 10mi lang). Unsere Nähe zu San Francisco, dem Weinland oder Monterey macht es einfach für einen Tagesausflug in eine beliebige Richtung in der San Francisco Bay Area.

Nach einem Tag voller Aktivität, ist es erstaunlich, an der Gas Firepit zu sitzen und die Sonne in den Pazifischen Ozean mit Ihrem Lieblingsgetränk in der Hand, eine warme gemütliche Decke und Toast, auf einen anderen Tag am Strand brutzeln sehen!

Heaven! A place of beauty and peace

This place is a piece of heaven! The Driftwood Cottage is a location of absolute beauty and peace at the ocean. Carol and Jerome are fantastic hosts. It is a miracle how they manage to always give you privacy and solve your problems within hours at the same time. The location is perfect to visit San Francisco or driving down south the Highway No.1. Watching wales and pelicans while laying in bed or sitting in the chairs close to the bluf is a unique experience. The cottage is beautifully decorated, clean and cosy. Thank you again for unforgettable 6 weeks and for the delicious cookies I definitely want to come back! Aloha Ich habe 6 Wochen im Driftwood Cottage verbracht und jede Stunde genossen! Der Blick auf den Pazifik ist unvergleichlich. Während meines Aufenthalts im September und Oktober habe ich jeden Tag Wale gesehen. Die Vermieter Carole und Jerome haben die zauberhafte Gabe, jemanden absolute Privatsphäre zu geben, sind aber sofort präsent, wenn ein Problem zu lösen ist. Das Cottage ist direkt an einer Klippe, so dass keine Spaziergänger vorbeikommen und man völlig für sich ist. Den vorderen Sitzbereich teilt man sich mit den Mietern des zweiten Cottage, aber ich hatte die Lounge die ganzen Wochen für mich alleine. Moss Beach ist ein sehr kleines friedliches Dorf, in das Touristen gerne einkehren, um das Riff, den Naturpark und die Seehunde zu besichtigen. Das Dorf liegt direkt am Highway 1, den man in der Unterkunft allerdings gar nicht hört. Man kommt von Moss Beach aus sehr gut nach San Francisco, kann aber auch in den Süden sehr schöne Ausflüge unternehmen. Ich selbst kam sogar ohne Auto mehrere Wochen gut zurecht. Ich kann die Unterkunft nur sehr empfehlen!

Excellent respite!

If you love the ocean and cool, refreshing air, this is the place for you! I booked to get away from the crazy hot temps in the valley, and was not disappointed. The view is spectacular, and the location is perfect - a short walk to the marine preserve where there are harbor seals resting and tidepools, and also a beautiful cypress forest. There are lots of beautiful coastal walks nearby, plus so many options for hiking and biking. The property is well-maintained, and the cottage has all the amenities, in terms of cooking items, soap, paper towels, lotion, etc. The decor is cute, and even the dishes aren't your ordinary white plain ones - they have some colorful flair. There's a pitcher of filtered water in the 'frig (although he tap water seems good to me too) There is free on-site laundry. Even an embroidered robe to borrow for the month! the owners are very nice, quick to respond to Qs, but not intrusive. I have already booked for next year!

Oceanfront Moss Beach Cottage

The view from this cozy cottage is spectacular! The cottage is very comfortable and well stocked. We experienced beautiful sunny days perfect for long walks along the coastline at Pillar Point. We also had a few stormy windy days from the historic CA weather systems! It was a wonderful month and we look forward to returning next year.

Delightful Cottage in Astonishing Setting

We spent the months of January and February in the cottage. It is charming, well-designed, and well-appointed. We were both working from home during this time, and we were able to make simple offices out of a desk at the back of the cabin and the dining table at the front. The setting is the most magical part of the whole experience. The cottage is just steps from a cliff overlooking the wild Pacific Ocean, with a nice landscaped garden in the foreground of the view. There were unprecedented storms during our stay, which brought torrential rain, winds, and power outages. Carol and Jerome were so kind in ensuring that we were comfortable during these days. On calm days, which would be much more common typically, the private cottage deck and shared bench and tables are wonderful places for a picnic or drink while watching the sunset. We were able to park just outside the fence and plug in our car to an exterior outlet. The neighbourhood is quiet and exceptionally friendly, which we discovered during daily dog walks. We loved this place and hope to return!

Wonderful! You feel like you are in the ocean.

We spent a month there with our 2 dogs. We had forgotten what it was like to hear the surf as you slept. The cottage is very comfortable and has everything we needed. The horseshoe reefs below the cottage are incredible. Our pups loved the walks to Pillar Point. Carol and Jerome are great hosts. Breakfast at The Press in El Granada is farm to table excellence and the bar at Ketch Joanne gives local color. If you like beer and dogs, Hop Dogma is bomb.

Cozy Cottage - Great Location

A little piece of Heaven

I was in awe every day of my stay at this gem by the sea. The pictures don’t even begin to capture the absolute beauty of this place. I slept every night with the sliding glass door open so I could hear the sound of the waves. The cottage is so beautifully decorated, the bed was extremely comfortable and I had everything I needed for a months stay. I work from home so was pleasantly surprised to find there was even a desk in the back perfect for me to setup my computer. My hosts, Jerome and Carol, were there whenever I needed something but always gave me my privacy. Carol was even gracious enough to help me in setting up an afternoon barbecue for a group of friends one weekend. You will not be disappointed. I will be back one day.

Amazing location, GORGEOUS cottage, great value!

We stayed in this beautiful cottage for a full month, and could not have been happier. The views from the cottage were unbeatable. The cottage itself was adorable, clean, and very comfortable. Perfect amount of room for a couple. Carol and Jerome were fantastic hosts! When we arrived there were fresh flowers and champagne in our cottage. What more can you ask for?

Great stay!

We stayed here in November of 2014. This is a great cottage. The lady owner was gone but her husband and son took care of us. One of the best views I have ever seen. Had great walks through the nearby cypress forest and marine refuge. Bought great fish and mussels at the nearby market at the harbor. Cooked out on the gas grill and hung out at the fire pit every night. Property is totally enclosed at end of road right off Highway 1 in Moss Beach. About 30 minutes to airport. Little store is one minute away with great wine selection. It was the perfect size for the two of us. Would definitely go back to and visit again. Oh yes, go to the restaurant at the local airport for the best breakfast in the world!!

Subtle Perfection

Sweeping ocean views, with spectacular sunsets. A peek over the property edge will bring the neighboring tide pools into view... seals...pelicans....and people exploring the environs -- 50 feet below. If you are fortunate enough to find an opening for this peaceful slice of perfection, do not hesitate. While modest in size (estimate ~400 sf, excluding deck), design in layout and appointments are perfect for the property (Driftwood Cottage). It balances upscale and comfort while avoiding any sense of fussiness. Our hosts were gracious and welcoming -- they provided restocking of paper supplies as needed along with fulfilling some miscellaneous requests. All low key and efficiently. Just what we were looking for --and the best vacation in the area we've ever had. We've spent time in HMB each summer for the past 4 years--having stayed at the Beach House, Cypress Inn and Landis Shores -- with a priority on the "ocean front" experience. By far, this property offered the best atmosphere, views and overall comfort. We were actually sad to leave.

Perfect cottage.....perfect setting

This little gem of a cottage is absolute heaven. I watched the sun go down every night, slept better than I have in years, and awoke each morning ready to sightsee. The bed was snugly warm, and comfy, with an incredible view. The only sound you hear are waves on the marine reserve below. Our host and hostess were spot on with dinner recommendations. If we needed anything, they were there to help. I'm glad they shared with me their little slice of heaven.

Paradise

Awesome view, adorable cottage, everything you need at your fingertips, close to attractions, relaxing. Everything we hoped it would be and more! Loved exploring the tide pools at low tide, seeing seals on the beach and walking the trails nearby. Could have sat on the deck and watched the ocean all day! Loved it! Hope we can return soon! Beautiful view

this cottage is quite clean and had everything we needed for a 3 day stay. The fire pit was enjoyable particularly since it is on the bluff just above the ocean. Easy access to the beach a few blocks away where the seals relax and play. The bed is quite comfortable and the kitchen, although small had everything we needed and was pretty well stocked with essentials. Plenty of space for the luggage and clothes. The deck is quite nice but the chairs closer to the bluff were too alluring to use the deck. Carol is a great hostess and even made cookies for us when we arrived - warm from the oven. We would definitely return. I would pick this over their other unit.

Lovely Cottage!

I stayed at the cottage with my 2 adult kids and we had a blast! The cottage was perfect...it was so cute, clean, well-equipped kitchen and we had chocolate chip cookies waiting for us at our arrival :) ! The central location was perfect for us as we planned to spend time in San Francisco, Big Basin Redwoods State Park and, of course, at the beach...very nice, I highly recommend this location!

Couldn't Have Been Better

We had such a wonderful and relaxing stay at the cottage to celebrate our first year of marriage. The cottage is very private and has all of the amenities one could need for a nice escape. We look forward to coming back for years to come! We are so happy that we found this place!

Perfect Beach Front Getaway

What a wonderful location and cottage. Very clean and stocked with anything you would need. We celebrated our 30 year anniversary while watching an amazing sunset right outside the cottage. The sound of the waves while laying in bed can't get any better! The owners were very nice and even accommodated my daughters special request by leaving a bottle of champagne in our room and delivered some wonderful warm chocolate cookies. A hidden gem! We will be back!

Amazing Cottage !!!

We stayed at Driftwood Cottage from June 17th to June 20th 2014. it is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the VIEW of the OCEAN. the cottage is wonderful better than the photos lots to do and the Distillery restaurant is a must. Sunsets by the fire pit with a glass of wine!! I can't wait to come back next year. Carol is the best hostess there was Warm Chocolate Chip cookies waiting when we arrived. DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS COTTAGE!!

Awesome stay

If you are looking for a awesome get away, this is the place so relaxing great owners. It is close to everything but not in the crazyness of San Francisco, close enough to go into for a visit. Great views at cabin, and everything you need is there. Thanks Carol you made our stay terrific and we will be back :)

Exceeded All Expectations

As soon as I parked the car and stepped out, the sound of crashing waves and the scent of briny seawater filled my senses. I walked through the private gate and looked to my right...nothing but Pacific Ocean. I looked to my left and there sat the most perfect beach cottage awaiting my arrival. I stepped inside and was in awe...really. Perfectly appointed, beautifully furnished and so very clean. The bed is "to die for" comfortable, with sliding doors that open out to a private deck that overlooks a darling lawn that overlooks the OCEAN! I am a runner...the trails were endless, you are 2 minutes walking form the Fitzgerald Marine Trail's (sp). My favorite restaurant is the Moss Beach Distillery...I walked to it! I slept like a baby...this cottage is located in a charming and quiet beach neighborhood. Very safe. The owners were so accommodating with tips on where to explore, I could go on and on...bottom line. This is my new favorite place and I will be back...very soon!

Excellant

Beautiful place. Low tide and High tide provide two completely different awesome views. Just a block from the Marine reserve and cypress forest for more great views. Only about 1/2 hour to S.F. for sightseeing there too. Very quiet and relaxing. Carol was an excellent hostess with lots of tips on local places, and even some warm cookies! Spotlessly clean. I would definitely stay here again if I was travelling in the area.
