Castle Po'ipū Shores 203A: This modern two-bedroom two-bathroom oceanfront unit has a large kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a convenient downstairs bathroom. The living area has tan woven floors and an LCD TV and DVD player. Meals can be enjoyed on an oval glass-top dining table or at the bar.

The private lanai has fantastic views of the southern shoreline. The master bedroom features an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has Twin beds and the second bedroom has a shower/bath combo. Unit includes a washer/dryer.

Castle Po'ipū Shores vacation condos offer laid-back island living with stunning Pacific Ocean views, upgraded room features, and resort amenities. Our beachfront resort has two barbeque areas and a heated freshwater swimming pool that’s home to "The Hut" - an open-air lounge area where you can unwind in the year-round Poipu sun. We also provide Free Parking for guests, so you explore Kauai and return with ease.

Our beachfront resort offers stunning views from each vacation condo. While we do not have air-conditioning in this unit, we have fans to help circulate the Pacific breeze. Each condo has a sliding glass door that opens onto the lanai, and windows throughout the space to help enhance the cross-breeze throughout the space.

Blending homey island living with amazing ocean views and hotel-style amenities, Poipu Shores’ spacious 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom ocean-front suites each feature a large private lanai, WiFi, washer/dryer, ceiling fans, flat screens and full kitchen for dining ease. Enjoy a heated freshwater swimming pool, “The Hut” open-air lounge, barbecue areas and guest services desk. Christmas in Kauai

Beautiful location with amazing views. Great proximity to Poipu beach. Spectacular view pool. Place was clean and loved having the washer and dryer in the unit. Well appointed kitchen. Only complaint was the carpet was rough and dirty especially in master bedroom area on front of sink

Great Location

We had a lovely stay here. The walk to the beach is quick and beautiful and the property staff was pleasant. I really enjoyed the salt water pool as well. If you are in need of A/C, just make sure your unit is equipped as all are not.

Great view but poor condo maintenance

The location, view and furnishings were great - just as advertised on the website. However, none of the appliances in the condo worked properly. Right before our stay we were advised that the in unit dryer didn’t work but in reality the washer didn’t work either. We picked this condo based on ability to do laundry and packed accordingly so this was VERY inconvenient. The stove and refrigerator are also on their last legs - had to have maintenance in for short term fixes. Would definitely stay at this complex again but not this unit.

This Unit has a great view of the ocean. The pool is super fun to swim in after a long day at the beach. You can see the waves and the turtles in the ocean from the pool deck. It's a quick drive to Poipu beach (not walkable from the Unit) This Unit itself was very old and outdated. Needs a refresh, along with all new furniture. There are no extras in the Unit, like beach chairs or boogie boards, so you have to rent everything. Lastly, the parking is not ideal for anyone with a large SUV/car. And parking can be hard to find at night. Overall the Unit is ok for a couple of nights, but there are much nicer places in Kauai to stay.

The view from the balcony took my breath away

We could have lived on the balcony-the view, the waves, really brought tears to my eyes. The place was clean, worked well for my family of 6, the kitchen was very well stocked-even a cooler for packing lunches on the beach. The pool was great-perfect for watching sun go down and catching a quick swim or long lounging afternoon. All is all, there are more upscale places in poipu, but none of them had the view and closeness to the ocean that this place had. I can’t wait to return.
