We want you to feel welcomed and comfortable! However, please remember that this is someone’s home and neighborhood. So, we ask that you treat it with the same respect you would treat your own home. I’m sure you will be lovely guests, but we must mention a few simple ground rules:
- Our insurance policy requires that guests be THIRTY (30) years old and must be present during the stay. Children must be accompanied by an adult(s). We do not permit bookings on behalf of others. We reserve the right to check valid ID cards to ensure compliance with this rule.
- Minimum 2 night stay.
- We do not permit bookings on behalf of others.
-Only the number of guests listed in the Rental Agreement can occupy this rental.
- This home is not child-proofed; there are no electrical outlet covers, cabinet locks, baby gates, or infant furniture (e.g. no pack-n-play, no high-chairs). We do not provide these amenities for infants or small children.
- Do not move / rearrange the furniture or decor.
- Please cleanup after yourselves (Supplies Provided) and return things the way you found them.
- The City of Fort Lauderdale has a strict Noise Limit Ordinance from 10pm to 7am. It reads: “No sound shall be plainly audible for a period of >1 minute at a distance of 25+ feet from the property line(s).” We do have noise monitors to ensure compliance with the City of Fort Lauderdale rules.
- No tampering with or disabling internet equipment, cameras, noise detectors, smoke detectors.
- No social gatherings on the premises of more than 10 people.
- No more than 3 vehicles allowed. Parking on the grass or in the street is not permitted.
- Smoking / Vaping of any type is strictly prohibited while staying at this rental property both inside and outside. We charge an additional $500 cleaning fee if smoking occurs anywhere on the property plus the cost of any damages (e.g. damages from burn marks).
- No pets are permitted on the property at any time. We will charge an additional $500 cleaning fee if pets are anywhere on the property plus the cost of any damages (e.g. floor scratches).
- Bicycles, pool toys, and other amenities provided are for use *at your own risk*. While we do not provide safety equipment (life jackets, helmets, knee-pads, etc.), we encourage you to bring them or purchase them if you choose to ride the bicycles. We are not responsible for injuries or other events (i.e. a flat tire) that arise from use of the bicycles and other provided amenities.
- The water / docks at the end of the street are on private property. Our neighbor asks that you not park at the docks or walk onto his property / onto the dock(s).
- Just use common sense. If you are unsure whether you are able to use / do something, just ask! (We’re reasonable people).
- Lastly… have fun, make memories, and enjoy yourselves.
