300 Ocean Mile is a 99-unit beachfront community located on the East End near the entrance to St. George Island State Park. Guests can enjoy two large community swimming pools with sun decks, lounge chairs and umbrellas. Multiple boardwalks provide easy access to the beach!

INTERIOR TOUR

This comfortable beach vacation home’s interiors feature hues of blue, grey and cream, providing a beachy and relaxing vibe, and offers guest privacy with bedrooms and sleeping areas on separate levels.

Up the stairs to the first level, the open flow living/kitchen/dining and shared half bath provide a comfortable place to gather with family and friends.

Prepare cocktails while guests relax at the counter that divides the living room from the well-stocked kitchen and at the rectangular table for six, this property offers the perfect backdrop to make beach vacation memories that will last a lifetime.

The spacious bedrooms in Ocean Mile H-2 provide await after a day of sea and sun. Up a short flight of stairs, an airy bedroom with a small deck, with a shared full bath just outside in the hall. Up another short flight, you’ll find a lovely master bedroom with vaulted ceilings, a private bathroom and a balcony with amazing panoramic views of the sand and sea.

We were able to take our 2 boxers to the beach for the first time and they loved it!!!! The condo was so beautiful, equipped with everything you need, and it was spotless! The property had plenty of areas to walk the dogs with several waste stations readily available to clean up after your dogs! We loved sitting on the balcony in the evening with our dogs. The sunrise and sunset walks on the beach with them were amazing! The beach was so beautiful and clean! Owners were great and always available!!!! We will definitely be back to H-2, and I’ve shared information about H-2 to several friends, who plan on booking.

We like the quiet, east end of SGI; away from the businesses. Bikes and walked four miles to town. The view of the Gulf was great from the Master suite bed as well as the MB porch and from the porch off the living room. Good supply of dishes and cooking utensils to make dinners at home.

The unit was clean and updated. We received some really nice things upon arrival, freshly ground coffee, scones, bread, such a nice, sweet touch! The unit was equipped with everything you need for cooking. Plenty of items for a 5 day stay (trash bags, dishwashing detergent, paper towels). Best part is the unit is right on the beach, wonderful ocean views and steps away from having your toes in the sand. Excellent! Highly recommend:)

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I have been going to St George Island for many years. This was the first time staying at Ocean Mile. The best part of staying at H-2 was the view. You are right on the beach. The owner provided plenty of towels and beach towels. The master bed was very comfortable. Refrigerator worked well. . The cons are: Appliances need updating. Pots and pans need replacing. The handles were falling off of many pots and thankfully my husband had brought tools with him to put them back on. I never could find a cookie sheet to bake cookies. Shower heads need replacing. Ceiling fan in guest bedroom did not work. Air conditioner was very loud in guest bedroom. I tried to sleep in there the first night but was too noisy. My husband snores so he was upstairs in the master bedroom. I made him switch with me but he couldn’t sleep in there either. He decided he would just stretch out on the couch. The couches are very uncomfortable.. The outdoor furniture is uncomfortable. The washer and dryer are both very loud and clothes take forever to dry. There is a sign to clean out the vent on the dryer and we finally figured out how to do it, and where is was located in the dryer. You have to take it out and twist it apart and snap it back together. Then twist it back in place. You could hear the dryer running all over the condo. All of the TV’s are outdated and need replacing. Sound was very poor. Very limited access to channels. Finally, Be mindful that there are neighbors on both sides of you. To our right was a condo full of loud kids and adults outside on the porch. To our left were 2 dogs that barked if we walked outside. Trying to sit outside and read a book and hear the ocean was nearly impossible. My husband and I understood that this is the chance you take staying right next to other renters. You just hope they are considerate and mindful that they are not the only ones there.
