This charming cabin is central and conveniently located just minutes from Tahoe City which boasts many restaurants, galleries, shops, and nightlife. The wonderful bike path is 2 miles away.  Newer high quality beds and linens..This home is centrally located to Palisades and Homewood less than 15 min away.  In the summer months, enjoy the many hiking and biking trails as well as live entertainment at Commons Beach and a wonderful playground for children. 
5 minutes from Eagle Rock hike for panaromic views of Lake.

is a popular destination for locals and visitors alike, located just a short walk from the heart of Tahoe City. Surrounded by towering pine trees and overlooking Lake Tahoe, this beautiful public beach is the perfect spot for picnicking, sunbathing, and swimming. For those who want to grab a bite to eat, there are several restaurants and cafes located nearby. Some popular options include Fire Sign Café, Za's and River Grill. Each of these establishments offers a unique dining experience and a variety of cuisine options, making it easy to find something that everyone in your group
The easy rules and instructions are on in the white binder and the house. Our cancellation policy is firm and highly suggest travel insurance. As you start planning your trip, we ask that you purchase trip insurance. Traveling to the Sierra mountains at any time of year has inherent risks and uncertainty, such as Covid, snow, air quality, fires, road conditions or personal health, or some other reason. As such, we expect our guests to mitigate these risks by purchasing trip insurance (in particular, "cancel for any reason" insurance). Depending on the platform, you may have to pay a 4 percent cancellation fee that the credit card processor does not refund for any cancellations.We allow one pet with $50 per stay fee. Due to health and safety issues, we do not allow houses to go over the indicated maximum occupancy. No smoking anywhere on property. Must state legally...Any violation of this will lead to loss of deposit and loss of rental monies as we will have to ask you to leave immediately. Our county has strict regulations regarding occupancy of rental homes and enormous fines. Therefore there will be a $500 per person charge for over occupancy. We do not split up Friday and Saturday nights when staying less than a week. We ask you follow all easy rules in white binder. A motion camera on driveway/sideyard for safety as we live in bear country. Do not leave food in cars. We do not allow more than 3 cars without prior authorization. Please help the environment and traffic so everyone can enjoy this beautiful area for years to come. Please do not leave garbage in garage! Bears have broken into garages with garbage in them and you will be liable if that occurs. Please use the large metal garbage box (instructions in white binder) If you have create excess garbage that does not fit, you must take home or occur $200 fee. We are happy to give late check outs and early check-ins when possible. Just ask! During peak times that is usually impossible, but again we love to accommodate when possible! Our house cleaning company charges $50 per half hour for late checkouts that are not pre-approved.

Check-in and out times can be flexible...just ask! Usually during the holidays or summer months, that may not be possible, but again please reach out and ask. In the event of unauthorized late check-outs, the cleaning company charges $150 per hour. Please sign an easy online digital contract that reiterates these rules. Thanks so much.
