Der Berg Blockhaus ist ein schönes Refugium. Vom tiefen Veranda haben Sie einen spektakulären Blick auf die Berge große Reichweite und kann den Sonnenaufgang mit einer Tasse Kaffee zu beobachten. Es ist in einem bewaldeten, ruhigen Umgebung von Natur und doch nahe der Nähe Aktivitäten und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten umgeben. Dies ist ein ein Schlafzimmer, ein Bad, gemütliche Hütte. Die Küche ist komplett mit Töpfen / Pfannen, Geschirr (usw.) bestückt. Eine Feuerstelle und das ganze Jahr über einen Whirlpool runden den Komfort Ihres Rückzugs ab. Die bequemen Bett hat extrem weichen Bettwäsche und Handtücher, und die Kabine hat flauschige Bademäntel für Ihre Nächte vor der Feuerstelle oder nach einem schönen Bad im Whirlpool. Wir haben auch Roku, kostenlose Netflix, einen DVR und einen Radio / CD-Player und WLAN für Ihren Genuss. Setzen Sie sich auf der Veranda und lauschen Sie den Klängen der Natur, beobachten Sie die Tierwelt, oder sehen Sie die Schönheit der Berge Farbe ändern im Laufe des Tages. Am Abend werden Sie Kaninchen, Truthähne und gemahlene Schweine sowie die Glühwürmchen im Gras entdecken. Genießen Sie den Beginn der Dämmerung mit einem Glas Wein vor einem knisternden Feuer. Cozy cabin
Love the Smoky Mountains and this cabin allowed us to travel all over on our motorcycle. We did have to trailer it on and off the mountain due to gravel road. Close to town. Great restaurants. Big comfortable bed. My husband loved the jacuzzi.

Relaxing, comfortable stay
Our stay was excellent. We enjoyed everything about the cabin. It has everything you could ask for- cooking essentials, comfy furniture, porch w/mountain views, fire pit...it has it all. And the property is beautifully maintained. We saw bunnies, wild turkey, and a groundhog (we think). The short trail behind the cabin was especially nice to explore with our dogs. We would stay again!

Best Stay Ever
Great cabin, super comfortably king bed, very private, super clean. All the kitchen supplies you would need (we cooked the entire stay) even supplied 1 dozen fresh farm eggs. Really good coffee (not a Keurig but a real coffee pot). Very pet friendly. Definitely one of our favorite places we have stayed at.

Cozy Mountain Stay!
I was solo traveling with my dog and Judy’s place was great. Convenient to town, hiking and the National Park. The cabin was cozy and safe! Even got eggs from the onsite chickens. Only thing I will mention, is there are a two cabins on the property and the other one is close to this cabin. You do get the noise of their comings and goings. Overall, very much enjoyed my stay and will be back!

Wonderful and beautiful
It’s a great and cute little cabin, it was every clean and plenty of space for two adults. Being able to soak in the hot tub at night was a great addition to our stay, it was very relaxing. Very beautiful scenery, I would definitely stay again.

Beautiful location
We stayed for a weekend for a family wedding and didn't want to do the hotel thing. We also had 2 labs. We were in dream cabin -- it's exactly as pictured but the views are better than expected. The dogs loved the area to play fetch. It was easy parking and turn around. The hot tub was to die for - sitting in the tub and looking out over the valley was just what the mind and body needed! Communication was swift with the homeowner. Thank you for a great stay!

Wonderful!
This was one of the best vacation rentals we’ve stayed in. Beautiful surroundings in a woodsy and mountain setting and so quiet and peaceful! Yet close to anything we wanted to do. Host very responsive if we had an issue, though there were few. Pup loved it too! Highly recommend!

Perfect little dream cabin
The Dream Cabin was wonderful. It was very clean and cozy, perfectly spacious for two people and our dog. The hot tub was running and the heat was on when we got there. The fresh eggs were very much appreciated. The king bed and the heater in the bedroom made for a great nights sleep after a long day of sight-seeing. I loved that this cabin is very centralized and a few minutes from town but it’s in a very private quiet location surrounded by trees so you can escape all the noise at the end of the day. We will definitely be back next year! Thank you for being such great hosts!

Just got back home from a magical stay in the dream cabin! Beautiful view and amenities, we spent a lot of time exploring local trails and overlooks, and on our last morning we woke up early for a venture into cataloochee valley for some elk spotting. Definitely did not disappoint!!

Amazing!!
The pictures don’t do this place justice, it’s just perfect! The cabin is aptly named the Dream Cabin because it’s definitely an absolute dream. The view, the seclusion, the location, the fresh eggs, the hammock and jacuzzi and cornhole… everything you could want and more! My husband and I just celebrated our first wedding anniversary here and we are in love, we will for sure be back! Thank you so much!!!

We fell in love with the cabin and the setting. Loved the hot tub. Owner left us a dozen eggs from their hens. They were so good. The front porch is comfy and peaceful. We watched wild turkeys daily. The cabin is very clean and looks new. It is beautifully decorated. We will return.

John and Judy Howell were working for the government in the DC area, and got married in narby Maggie Valley, NC. They fell in love with the area and began to look for property. They feel completely blessed to have found this beautiful slice of heaven, which they named Howells at the Moon Farm.

This property is so unique. It was an old farm and in the same family for a hundred years until early 2000. It's on 13 acres, surrounded by fields and forests, with spectacular mountain views. You will feel like you are isolated in nature, but you are in fact minutes away from towns, shopping and activities. It is, truly, the best of both worlds. This property has hiking trails, long range mountain views, mountain streams, and privacy.
