Welcome to our 1-level, 2-bedroom townhouse at Snowberry Villas.

Totally renovated and redesigned (completed late fall 2023), this modern sanctuary is loaded with unique touches to make your Whistler experience amazing.

Consider us your high-style Basecamp!

Because our townhouse is all on one level, it has a spacious and easy flow.

The primary bedroom has an Article queen bed with a new Endy mattress & linens and plenty of closet space; the second bedroom has a double bed with a single above, with a large storage drawer underneath. More details on bedrooms below.

Open concept living & dining rooms and a kitchen stocked w/ your every need (including oils & spices), this space flows for both together time & privacy.

The kitchen is stocked with a new clamp-on high chair; full set of children's BPA-free dishware; Duralex France drinkware; stemmed wine glasses; Steelwood Design serving board; Ninja high-speed smoothie blender, Smeg coffee maker & 10-cup French press; Staub cast iron Dutch Oven and many other gourmet touches.

The outdoor patio has a four-person dining table and chairs by Fermob France, 2 Acapulco-style lounge chairs, a camp-style fire pit & portable propane BBQ. It's a spacious and pretty spot to chill after your day of adventures.

The Location & Nearby Amenities:

Snowberry's prime location & vibe make it ideal for a family, a golf crew or two couples. One-level easy living w/ a private patio, ONE free secure underground parking spot (right below the home) & a prime location in The Benchlands - the most tranquil and sought-after mountain-side neighbourhood in Whistler/Blackcomb.

We are next door to the famed Four Seasons Resort Residences & the Chateau Whistler Resort and right across the street from the Fairmont Chateau Whistler Golf Club. The trail that runs through our property links directly to the famed Valley Trail system and Lost Lake. You'll be within walking distance of the charming summer farmer's market and outdoor Kid's Zone & Adventure Park @ the base of Blackcomb. Walking distance to the Squamish & Lil'Wat Cultural Centre, The Audain art gallery, and hotspots including Sidecut, Braidwood, The Chateau's legendary après hotspot The Mallard Lounge, Merlin's Bar & Grill (woot!) and Portobello - these spots range from world-class dining to family style to grab & go snacks. There is also a liquor and small convenience store just a few minutes walk away.

We are about an 8-10 minute walk to the upper village/Blackcomb Gondola and under a 15-minute walk to the main village. This translates to just under 700m to the hill, and on good snow days, you can ski right to the front door.

If you prefer, there is also a free shuttle that stops right out front of our complex that will take you directly to the hill and back. It will also take you to the village and upper village. It comes every 10 minutes during ski season and 15 minutes in the spring/summer.

PARKING: you can park in the above ground Snowberry Villas lot (entrance between Spearhead Dr and Painted Cliff). Park here temporarily to unload your things, enter the unit and collect your Mountain House keychain containing a garage fob and one key - which opens the door to the parking garage.
There is tons of park-like green space at Snowberry right outside of our front door for kids to play. It is a quiet, safe, and beautifully manicured property.

The Bedrooms:

This home is ideal for a family of 4 or 5 or 2 couples.

Principal bedroom has a Queen bed with integrated side tables, charging stations & task lamps, a CB2 storage bench & hanging closet. The principal has its own door to the washroom (the water closet/shower are conveniently separated from the large vanity area). There is also space for folded items thanks to a linen-covered seating bench at the foot of the bed with two drawers underneath.

The second bedroom has a double bed with a single above & storage for extra linens/clothing items underneath. The second bedroom is conveniently located on the other side of the home for added privacy. There are 55-inch Smart TV's in both bedrooms as well as the living room. Washable Rumpl National Parks puffy camp blankets are located throughout the space for added coziness and comfort.

Dining:

Custom banquette for family style dining as well as a large kitchen breakfast bar that seats 4. Awesome for serving up kids' meals or après charcuterie! Quartz countertops, new full-sized Kitchen Aid appliances, Le Creuset French press and a Nutri Bullet smoothie blender are just some of the convenient touches we've added to make your stay amazing. The kitchen is fully-equipped with everything you need to whip up a delicious meal after a long day on the slopes, at one of the nearby lakes or on the golf course.

Living:

The living room has a gorgeous queen-sized sleeper sofa (that is actually comfortable!) custom designed by Gus Toronto, as well as a full-sized Crate & Barrel desk for remote work.

For additional sleeping arrangements, we offer a cozy armchair that easily converts into a comfortable single bed. Let us know if you'd like it set up for your stay!

There is a wood burning fireplace in the living room (we leave one clean-burning fire log per stay) so you can kick back, throw a Spotify playlist on the retro Marshall speaker & enjoy the natural light streaming in through the windows.

Outdoors:

Whether you're roasting s'mores around our camp-style fire pit or grilling post-golf, the private patio space is located right off the living room.

You can't beat this vibe & location.

Cozy Lodging near Blackcomb

Very clean, comfortable lodging near the Blackcomb side of the resort. Had everything we needed…two cozy bedrooms, a large bath, comfy living room with fireplace, and a very handy large “mud room” for shedding gear after skiing. Easy access to the resort with the frequent shuttle bus. Great communication with owner. Would stay again for sure.

We really enjoyed our stay at Susie’s place. Wonderful, quiet location and unit perfect for biking the park or Lost Lake. Great bolt hole in Blackcomb

My daughters and I stayed in Susie’s place for skiing. It is a great place with all the things you could need. Unfortunately there wasn’t enough snow to ski in/ski out but the shuttle was very handy for getting both to Blackcomb as well as Whistler village. We loved it!

Winter Wonderland

Wonderful stay at villa snowberry! The house was absolutely lovely. It was easy to find and very walkable to the upper and lower village. Susie (host) was great and stayed in close communication. The area was great with lots of snow just outside the door. Many trails just outside the unit, no need to take the car out of the garage with everything within a short walk! Can't wait to come back in the summer for hiking!
