This loft in downtown Memphis, with outside pool and inside workout area .This one bedroom is very comfortable and spacious. located in the heart of downtown Memphis, right next-door to the famous Gus chicken , just a two block walk from Beale Street . You will be surrounded by plenty of restaurants and live entertainment. You will want to spend your days in the pool and your nice out on the town.

Short family turnaround trip. Beale Street was in walking distance. The building was secure and safe.

Just like the other reviews

When booking this place I was already a bit skeptical due to the reviews but I had a conversation with Christina and she seemed very trustworthy so I went ahead and booked it anyways. When arriving there check in was supposed to be at 1pm but they said that they had someone check out at 11am and they would have to clean it so I couldn’t check in until 4-6pm. We decided to wait until 3pm and Obviously bothered I let them know the website said 1pm and they said I could go in but as I was entering the property the door wouldn’t open and a lady opened the door who seemed like she just had woken up and just said to have the property manager call her and closed the door so I called and they said they didn’t know who it was and later said it was the cleaning lady if we could wait another 30 minutes so we finally got in at 4pm they told us they had the covers for the bed in the dryer and they had already cleaned everything else which I later came to find out that was not the case. The apartment said no smoking yet it reeked like marijuana and we found an empty pack of cigarillos on the couch along with burn marks. The toilet was pinkish yellow from not being clean, there was hairs all over the floor and gum on the headboard of the bed and we found some chewed lollipop sticks on the floor as well. Overall this experience was horrible if I could give it 0 starts I would. I have pictures of all these things and will be sending them to VRBO to hopefully have this place removed.

Great location, cleanliess eh...

Let me first start by saying Christina is a good host. She was easy to reach when we couldnt find the entrance to the building (it is on a side street on the back side of building). We were passing through Memphis on our way to Florida with our teenage son and his friend. My husband and I had been to Memphis years ago and thought the boys would enjoy seeing Beale Street. When we opened the apartment door, the first thing that hit us was the smell. The apartment smelled strongly of marijuana, to the point it overwhelmed us. We unloaded our things and left for the evening, hoping it would dissipate. It did not. We got back and the boys went to settle in on the sofa. There were bits of marijuana in the couch cushions and in the console. There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher and the bed in the bedroom did not appear to have fresh linens. We couldnt find any towels, but did later find them in the laundry closet. The bedroom had no bed pillows, only throw pillows. We did not shower in the morning as we did not find the towels soon enough. I did let Christina know about the smell, and she said she was aware. If you're having and adult getaway and just want to have some fun on Beale Street, I'm sure this would be fine. It was not appropriate for our family. As a plus, definitely visit Gus's Fried Chicken if you stay here! It was handily the most fabulous meal we had on our journey.

Disrespectful/Rude/Nasty/Gang Related

This People Are Horrible I Book All The Time With No Problems all respect I book this apartment with 4 family members I text and asked if I could couple/several people which are family and a family friend that’s basically family before I even got there . And I got the approval to my request. They pushed my check in time back which was fine because I just made it to the city to visit family . As we are bringing our bags in and everything we noticed that apartment smelled heavy like marijuana. I don’t like that so I contact them . Didn’t get an answer called several times didn’t get an answer . Gave it a few mins tge kicken was nice but the refrigerator was nasty asf my cousin had to clean it out because they wasn’t already responding to me . hour or two really. Honestly forgetting that they don’t respond. I kept texting and kept calling didn’t get nothing then get a random text asking if we playing loud music . We never played music it’s a bar connected to the apartments so that where the music was coming from but Mind u walking up to the building and the hallway every was good looked clean and smelled good no bad smell . Only started to smell when I walked in I had to walk out to see if I was tripping . My check in time got pushed by cause of cleaning that what I was told so if it was clean it wouldn’t smell like this . The extra people that I got the approval to have finally came and that’s where the problems started . A young boy came rude as hell as I was openin the door

Great location in Memphis

Location is truly walking distance from Beale street, the civil rights museum, restaurants and the fedex forum. Maybe 5 to 10 minutes to any and all of theses places...thankfully because our rental car reservation got completely screwed up and we had no car for the first two days. Didn't even miss it and the property manager was awesome...a few small issues and she answered the phone immediately and took care of these small issues. The bedroom was great we dubbed it the melatonin room... very dark and quiet...great night sleep after walking all over Memphis... Checkin got 3 stars because the actual entrance is on a side street...so a bit confusing... but the manager talked us through it... after our flight and rental car fiasco it just added to the frustration...i will mention thankfully the next block over is Gus's Fried chicken our first meal in Memphis..a must and is was a nice finish to our long day... FInally would we stay there again???? Yes . . In a heart beat....
