Welcome to "DoubleDutch30a" – Welcome to your dreamy "Scandi" beach getaway! This modern gem, just a stone's throw from the beach, boasts a larger-than-life private pool, perfect for family fun under the sun. With 5 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, there's room for everyone to relax in style. The unique, whimsical, modern design creates an enchanting atmosphere, where every corner tells a fun story. Your rental will include 6 bikes, a free backpack Koozie cooler, and a discount at a local outfitter for bike, scooter, golf cart and paddle board rentals! Local beach access is a short walk or ride, easy access and deeded to our neighborhood. And all just a short walk from everyone’s favorite restaurant and bar- Stinky’s and Stinky’s Bait Shack!

Step inside to discover a chef's kitchen, fully equipped with top-of-the-line appliances and sleek countertops, inspiring culinary adventures for all. Large, sliding doors seamlessly blend indoor and outdoor living, inviting gentle sea breezes and natural light to dance through the space.

After a day of beachcombing and sandcastle building, rinse off in the convenient outdoor shower and bathroom, specially designed for the little ones, while enjoying the pool and outdoor oasis. When hunger strikes, take a short walk to nearby restaurants like Stinkey's or 3 Sons BBQ for a taste of local flavor.

For more adventure, hop on a bike and explore Gulf Place, just a short ride away. With its family-friendly amenities and prime location, this Scandi beach home promises memories to last a lifetime.

Owner managed! - Double Dutch includes 6 bikes, beach chairs, & natural gas grill (no propane tanks here!) included with rental. Discounted rates available with local e-bike, e-scooter, and beach gear rental vendor upon request. Ideally accommodates a party of 12, Double Dutch can stretch to our max occupancy of 14 when the 3rd floor queen sleeper sofa is put to use (linens not provided.)

Fabulous proximity to 2 secluded neighborhood beach accesses, and two regional accesses with parking and full bathroom and shower amenities. Beach Highlands is one of the oldest platted neighborhoods along 30A, dating back to the early 60's. Gorgeous sand oaks, hundreds of years old, line the neighborhood streets. You will feel like a local - and we ask that you respect our neighbors! We love them and most of them have been here for decades. Our neighborhood is walking distance to the very secluded beach access named for our neighborhood- "Beach Highlands Access". This access is one of 2 neighborhood accesses, and has extremely limited parking and a shower, which keeps the number of visitors more limited. Beach Highlands Access is also a short walking distance to the undeveloped, natural splendor of Topsail Park, to the west, which provides plenty space to spread out! Even closer is the new Dune Allen Access, complete with restrooms, parking and showers. Dune Allen Access is directly across from Stinky's should you need take out or those big frozen drinks for the beach! Stinky's Bait Shack also has any bait or fishing gear you might need! The Dune Allen access is just a hop, skip and a jump from home, so it is perfect for back-and-forth trips between the house and beach. But not a heartbeat further east you will quickly find the large Fort Panic Beach access, which is also a walkable distance. Ft. Panic has more extended parking and a broader beach frontage for more space, and also includes showers and restrooms. Still want more? Look no further than the "rest of the west" side of 30A, because Gulf Place, Gulfview Heights, Blue Mountain Beach and Grayton Beach are all within short distance! Topsail Hill State Park, Grayton Beach State Park are both close, and if you need more trails, you can find them at Timpoochee Trail, Western Lake Loop, Watercolor and Seaside Trails Loop, Topsail Trails Circuit, and Longleaf Greenway!

Note on pool safety to parents - all exits and windows to outdoor pool area are equipped with adult height alarms which must be pressed every time door is opened as required per Florida statutes. If a door or window is opened an ear piercing alarm is executed to alert you to its opening. An additional surface disturbance alarm is available upon your request which will alert you to any disturbance to the pool surface. Deck gate to pool area is also protected with certified child safety lock on opening from outside.

Perfect Place for our Family
This home was perfect for our family: from location to decor to amenities (even a bottle filler!) this home was amazing! We have a large family (8 kids + 4 spouses) and this was perfect. When we were first looking, we thought we wanted to be right on the beach, but actually between our walks, bike rides, and golf cart rides, most of the sand was off by the time we got home which helped keep sand out of the house (which can be a big pain). Being able to leave the beach at dusk and come back to still spend time in the pool was amazing! The large table also provided plenty of space for games, etc. The golf cart we rented and the bikes they provided were so helpful for getting around town to our favorite restaurants (Papa Surf and Redfish Taco) and all the coffee and ice cream shops (favorites were Ice Cream Shoppe, Coffee Shoppe, Pecan Jacks, and Kith and Kin). Lastly, I would just say to know exactly where you can be on the beach. We got conflicting information one of our final days from people that own the beachfront properties at Stallworth & Beach Highlands. I think they just didn’t want people obstructing their view 😇.

Awesome 3 generations vacation
Double Dutch was a perfect fit for our family. We had 3 generations ages 2 to 73 and this home fit us like a glove. Kitchen was spacious and allowed for several cooks to prepare meals. There are several living areas so family could spread out into groups. Everyone loved the pool area and deck area. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms worked well. We especially like the outhouse—convenient for pool and beach. Hosts were great. Location to beach was short walk or bike ride. Double Dutch will definitely remain on our family beach house list for future vacations.

Amazing!!
The house was absolutely amazing! As advertised!! Plenty of space for our group of 9. Kitchen fully prepared for cooking or grilling. Short walk to beach’s, plenty of towels and bathroom essentials supplied. We walked in and had no worries. I’d your heading to the beach they have 6 beach chairs and 2 umbrellas for your use. Would definitely rent this property again!

AMAZING!!
Double Dutch was absolutely AMAZING!! It’s in a very quiet, nice neighborhood! It took 8 minutes to walk to the beach or less if you ride a bike! The beach is gorgeous & not busy! We had such an awesome trip & loved the pool & especially the hot tub in the evening! We would definitely stay here again:):)

While there are many beautiful coastal homes along 30A which boast the traditional, neutral, driftwood and seashell decor; Double Dutch was inspired by a combination of the surf style more typically employed on the CA coastline of Newport Beach and Long Beach south of LA. It is a little bit edgy, and a little bit whimsical, but always authentic. Also notable, are the undeniable "Scandi" (Scandinavian) design influences found throughout the house, rooted in our origins (my Dutch husband) and our years together living in Germany. These roots left us with a love of modern design, but tied to beloved handmade wood decor bought along the streets of Europe. This love of wood features extended into our lighting design and even our hardware selection! Apart from the unique interior design, our large open floor plan, and extended outdoor living space make Double Dutch a stand out from the crowd!
