Welcome to our Slice of Heaven at Lake Anna!

We are a husband and wife team who personally manage this home. We have been delighting VRBO guests with our properties in the Myrtle Beach and Smith Mountain Lake, VA areas for over 12 years. Our properties have consistently garnered 5-star reviews due to our attention to detail and our focus on helping our guests have outstanding vacation experiences.

From the moment you pass through our gated entrance and onto our paved driveway meandering through woods bustling with birds, squirrels, and deer, you are transported to what we call Lake Life. Lake Life and your time at the lake can be extremely peaceful and relaxing OR full of fun and exciting activities OR both! Our home offers you whatever experience you and your family are looking for in a lake vacation.

The upstairs of our lakefront home was remodeled and updated in 2023 and the basement was remodeled and updated in 2025. Our home has nearly 4,000 square feet of living space, sits on roughly 3 acres, and boasts over 200 feet of Lake Anna shoreline on a beautiful cove.

Bring your boat! You can tie up at our boathouse and public boat launches are only 5-10 minutes by boat from the house. Plenty of room to park a boat trailer at the house too.

***Water trampoline and water slide may not be available November - April.

***Please note that there are three security cameras in use on the property. The three cameras are a doorbell camera at the front of the house, a camera inside the garage, and the third located on the back deck which views the boathouse area.

***Primary guest will be asked to provide identification after booking.

Excellent 2nd Stay!

My group of friends and family stayed at this house last year and enjoyed our experience so much that we decided to book it again. We definitely made the correct choice. The house had plenty of room for our group of 10. We loved the amenities such as the pool table, hot tub, and gorgeous views of the lake from the deck. We would happily stay here again!

Amazing Time

The house was so beautiful and well kept. The location on the lake is stunning and the water sports included in the house make it a great time on the lake. Many activities to do at the house or around the town. Would absolutely love to stay at this place again.

Lovely Post Labor Day Week

What a beautiful place! Our group was 3 couples and found the house was well suited with room to spare. We like to cook meals, and the kitchen was well stocked and was laid out to allow for group cooking. The deck and the boathouse were favorite spots to gather to enjoy the perfect weather. The property is very well maintained. Robert and Courtney were very responsive and checked in multiiple times to make sure we had what we needed and to answer any questions that may have come up.

Perfect

We stayed with our young kids and family and it was perfect. The house was very clean with a great layout. Plenty to do for us and our small kids. The location on the lake is ideal- right in the middle of everything. We will be back!

Fantastic vacation

We have been renting vacation houses for 20+ years and this was the best we have ever stayed in. House is in almost new condition and everything works as it should. Proper, correct instructions on how to use things like the A/V equipment, grill, hot tub and golf cart. The hosts have provided so many things that we have been used to bringing with us like soaps of all types and paper goods. They were also the most communicative hosts we have ever had. We absolutely would look to stay here again if we go back to Lake Anna.

Week at the Lake

Beautiful property with lots of amenities, close to Food Lion. Perfect for a large group. Boat house is perfect with slide and trampoline if you have kids, morning sun, evening shade, close to marinas if you have a boat. Will definitely rent again.

Amazing House and Amazing Amenities!

We had a fabulous week at Lake Anna! This house was perfect for our family (6 adults and 1 toddler). The house was beautiful, equipped with everything needed, and so spacious. And the outdoor amenities were incredible! We fished off the dock, swam and floated, kayaked, used the paddle board, had beautiful bonfires in the evening, and made use of the hot tub. It was a perfect vacation! And Robert and Courtney were great to work with. We are already planning next year’s vacation at this property!

Beautiful House, Would Come Back

Excellent location, close to Food Lion and restaurants. The house is beautiful and it was clean and ready for us. The Dock area was perfect with the SUP, Kayaks, life vest and floats all provided. Dock was great for our rental boat too. Kids loved the game room. Owners were responsive and great. 10 out of 10.

Weekend Wedding Oasis

We had the pleasure of staying here the weekend of our son’s wedding, and it exceeded all our expectations. The photos don’t do the property justice - it’s positively breathtaking. Every detail had been thoughtfully considered, and each room was wonderfully inviting with more than enough room to relax, and celebrate. The outdoor area was also impressive, with breathtaking views that were perfect for photos and water toys available for creating unforgettable family memories. The hosts took care to stock items that made our stay even more convenient. The bedrooms were all beautifully decorated and comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect setting to celebrate such a significant event. A Must Stay on the Lake!

This property is absolutely gorgeous! It had everything our group needed and more, for a wonderful stay on the lake. The house is extremely clean, spacious, and welcoming. The kids and adults alike were able to enjoy the games and amenities in the basement, the hot tub with a wonderful view, and most importantly, all of the fun on the dock and in the lake! The amazing wildlife we encountered was an added bonus. We highly recommend a stay here!

Wonderful week by the lake

This stay was great! Being right on the lake was fantastic, and everything in the house was perfect for our group. There was lots of room to spread out, but also great gathering spaces for when we wanted to be together. The house was clean and provided everything we might have needed or wanted. Check in and information was all detailed and helpful. Overall we greatly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come again.

Truly a Slice of Heaven

Three generations of my family gathered for a long weekend, and this property was perfect for us. We enjoyed cooking together in the well-designed and well-appointed kitchen; we enjoyed the dock and kayaks; the little ones enjoyed playing tag on the deck; the adults enjoyed the hot tub; we all enjoyed s'mores around the fire pit and the game room. Truly an exceptional experience. And Courtney was so, so pleasant and responsive that it was a joy to work out the details. They thought of everything, including an easy drive to a grocery store!

The Perfect Lake House!!

This is the perfect lake house for a getaway, it has everything you could possibly want. The view was beautiful, it has plenty of things to do at the house, and the most beautiful driveway we have ever seen. The location was perfect for us as we split our time between Washington DC and Williamsburg, VA and the lake house was centrally located for us. Next time we will have to book in the summer to spend more time on the dock/lake.

Our weekend getaway was wonderful in this house! It was spacious, comfortable, and had everything our group of ten could possibly need. Waking up to the view of the lake was breathtaking! Forever Friends 2023 Lake Trip

We all were sooooooo pleased with your rental. Everyone kept commenting on how beautiful everything was and how wonderfully decorated the house was. We just LOVED it! One suggestion was that there was no coffee pot or we couldn't find it. Would love to come back!!!!

We live in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia about an hour and a half from our home on Lake Anna. We've been VRBO hosts for multiple properties over the last 12 years, mostly in the Myrtle Beach, SC area. Making a great vacation experience for our guests is something we enjoy doing.
