Family vacatiom

Unit was clean, as advertised, the bigger pool is right out the back door. The beach is exactly as pictured, maybe 6 lounge chairs that always seemed to be in use or with a towel on it, the water is very rocky so not great swimming. We went to spotts beach and the beach down the road next to the Marriott, we wished we brought a beach bag and cooler. Plenty of inflatables for the pool. It was a nice time.

Week On the Island

Accommodations: The condo was spacious and clean, providing a comfortable home away from home. The kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to prepare meals easily, and the living area was cozy with comfortable furnishings. The bedrooms were roomy with comfortable beds, ensuring restful nights. Amenities: Plantation Village offers a good range of amenities. The two swimming pools were well-maintained and provided a refreshing escape from the heat. We loved the beachfront access – the sand was soft, and the water was clear and inviting. The availability of kayaks, snorkeling gear, and beach loungers was a nice touch. The barbecue area was convenient for evening meals, and the tennis court was a fun addition. Location: The location of Plantation Village is excellent. Being situated on Seven Mile Beach, we had easy access to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The condo is also conveniently close to grocery stores, restaurants, and local attractions. We enjoyed walking to nearby eateries and having various options for water sports and excursions. Overall Experience: Our stay at Plantation Village was very enjoyable. The combination of comfortable accommodations, good amenities, and a prime location made it a great choice for our vacation. We left with wonderful memories and would consider returning in the future. We recommend Plantation Village to those looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay on Grand Cayman.

Wonderful place!

You have a little bit of a walk to the beach or the car but pool is close. Accuracy of listing is 100%. Beds are comfortable and house and supplies in good condition. We would definitely stay here again!

The condo was comfortable and fully equipped with everything you need. The 2 pools were great. One of the pools were right out the back porch. Close to restaurants and grocery. When I come back I will definitely rebook here.

Great Relaxing Vacation

My wife and I really enjoyed or stay at the Plantation condos! All the guest there were really friendly. The area was located in a safe area, with many conveniences located within walking distance. Always had a beautiful sunset every night by the ocean side pool area! Pools were nice and always clean. Two bedroom unit was nice and well-stocked with toiletries, etc. We were on the first floor and for the most part, it was quiet. Beds were okay, a little older and in need of new mattresses. Only really bummer thing is the lack of a beach on the property( granted there was a little strip of sand there, but no much). Everything else was great however.

Fantastic but no beach

This was our second trip to Grand Cayman in the past year. The property is fantastic, clean, and comes with a plethora of amenities including normal-sized bar soap, and full bottles of body wash, shampoo and conditioner. This is not typical in my experience of a VRBO. The property manager was very attentive and answered immediately with any questions we had. We were four adults, so two of us slept on the twin beds. I’m 5’4” and my feet could dangle off the edge so I don’t know if I’d recommend for adults but for a family it would be perfect. The view is of the pool, not the ocean. There is no sand at this beach as most of seven mile beach has been wiped out. So if you’re looking to walk on the beach, that’s not going to happen. If you’re going to be exploring the island, this is perfect for you to just come to sleep.

Different expectations-expected beach view from unit

First time visiting Grand Cayman and loved the island. The property is walking distance to several restaurants including two local places across the street and the Marriott almost next door. The first picture of the small beach is accessible from the unit without crossing any roads. What I did not expect was that it is three buildings away. The second picture is the view from the unit. The beach is small and you cannot walk along the water to any other properties as mentioned in other reviews. It fits the 6 chairs as shown. We used the paddle boards and that was nice. Kayaks were also available as maybe bikes? This is a timeshare property (25 years old?)that has turned over so it’s a mix of owners living full time and vacationing. The property was very quiet so we didn’t have any problems using the beach chairs when we wanted to (one time we had to shuffle them around). The unit was very clean and as mentioned in other reviews well equipped to cook, towels, linens, pool toys (I used a noodle for snorkeling for visibility), even sunscreen, shampoo, bug spray, etc. You can snorkel off of the property though there is some amazing snorkeling not far away. We rented a car and that came in handy to get to several snorkeling sites. I’m glad we stayed on this side of the island as the other side is remote (we went once for a bioluminescent kayak tour and had a hard time finding a place open to eat!). The only recommendation is to bring a small travel cooler with you.

Gabriel was an amazing host. Very responsive and nice guy. I had the pleasure of staying in both of his units which was impeccable, clean, spacious and well thought of. Extra towels, beach towels, pool toys, sugar, tea bags, coffee, body wash , shampoo and conditioner was provided. The view to the pool was welcomed as I could watch the kids from my balcony. I would highly recommend these units as it is also in a central location close to shops, restaurants and stores that we could walk easily too. Condo was smack in the middle of the island which made it easy to tour the beautiful island.
