Thanksgiving at the Beach

Our family thoroughly enjoyed gathering at this lovely house with a fantastic view of the ocean and sound. It was super clean, well appointed and they even had holiday decorations up! We were impressed with the host's attention to detail that made this multilevel home safe and welcoming for all ages.

Beautiful home. Perfect for young grandsons

Scott we can’t say enough about how beautiful your home is …this place was just perfect for my young grandsons . If you have kids this is the one to go to ..the pool was clean and we loved the outdoor area and set up . The inside was clean the beds were comfortable as well as the beautiful furniture. We had plenty of space and had everything we needed for our stay . We look forward to going back to this place . Our first time in beautiful Topsail won’t be our last .

Relaxing family retreat

Our adult children and their spouses plus our granddaughter had a wonderful time on a mini vacation at Cushy Coastal retreat. With easy beach access, pool, hot tub, game room and two living areas We had plenty of room and plenty to do. Highly recommend you book your next vacation at this location!

The house is incredible!

We just finished our stay at the Cushy Coast House on Topsail Island and had a blast. The house is incredible! Scott has thought of everything that a vacationing family could need to make your stay perfect. Everything from the pool, hot tub, outside fire circle, play room with an air hockey table and foosball table and even the putting green were exceptional! Inside the house was just as nice with everything we needed in the kitchen and throughout the house. We have been vacationing on Topsail Island for over 30 years and I have never had an owner respond as quickly and efficiently as Scott when we had questions during our vacation. I highly recommend staying at this house when vacationing on Topsail.

Family beach vacation

Our group of 15 which included grandparents and 3 families with 7 kids aged 2-9, enjoyed our stay. Easy access and short walk to the beach was a plus. The pool area was great for our group to be able to spread out and also for our dogs to be out there with us. The kitchen was, for the most part, well stocked (we could’ve used a can opener!). Would definitely return to Cushy Coast House!

This place was great!

This place was great! From the hot tub, to the kitchen, to the panoramic views, I have nothing to complain about. Scott was friendly and responsive. The rooms were beautiful. There were so many places to hang out or relax. Everyone could be together at the same time or have their own space if they wanted to. The beach is right there in front of you and easy to get to. The elevator made it easy to bring everything up without having to carry it up the stairs. I wish we could have stayed longer but the sadly the weekend is only two days long.

Beautiful home!

Beautiful home! The location is amazing with ocean in the front and the marsh in the back. We celebrated my husbands birthday and Easter and we had plenty of room for the family. Scott was quick to respond when I had questions prior to check in. Definitely recommend!

This is our lovely home away from home. We've always dreamed of owning a special place on the coast of North Carolina with it's rich history and beautiful waters. We are so happy to share our unique space with you and your family!
When we aren't spending time with our two dogs, Lewis and Toby...we love traveling! We're always planning our next adventure to explore our national parks, then beyond the United States to see as many places around the globe. Originally born and raised in London, I'm a huge Premier League soccer fan! My wife and I are very lucky to both share the love of travel and our pups. We are happy to accept all pre-approved dogs!

The tranquility, the ocean air, and the surroundings make it the perfect escape from the rigors of everyday life. The view from the deck is another huge plus point for us, we love spending time on the deck, whether it's for breakfast, lunch or dinner!

There are so many things we love about our Coast House! The breathtaking design of the whole house is what made us fall in love with it. The high ceilings, the bespoke staircases, and the multiple decks are all incredible. Whether you're facing the Atlantic Ocean, or the Carolina Sound, its a wonderful place to spend some time with family, or by yourself for a peaceful moment. I think we love the calmness and tranquility of the whole house. It really feels like you are in a completely different world. You are able to spend time in beautiful natural surroundings, and take a break from your everyday life.
