Miramar By the Bay is your Cape May beach oasis in an ideal bay area location. Staying at this quaint and quiet cottage, you’ll enjoy beaching, bike riding, bird watching, fishing, exploring, and relaxing - just 3 short blocks from the beautiful Delaware Bay. Sunsets are a nightly event at this airy, light filled home. We have outfitted Miramar with your dream get away in mind. A quintessential family friendly beach experience awaits you at Miramar!

Miramar by the Bay is a 2021 updated home that sleeps a total of 7 adults in 5 new beds purchased in spring 2021 (king, queen, twin XL, 2 twin beds). We provide you with comforters, extra blankets, and pillows. Mattresses and pillows have protectors. GUESTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR BRINGING THEIR OWN BED SHEETS AND BATH TOWELS FOR THEIR STAY. We are happy to direct you to a local linen service for sheets and towels upon request. Again, WE DO NOT SUPPLY BED SHEETS OR BATH TOWELS.

Our home has one full bathroom with a tub / shower and an outdoor shower.

We welcome you with a starter “kit” that includes toilet paper, body soap, dish soap, sponge, kitchen wipe, and garbage bag.

You have full access to 4 beach cruisers, 7 beach tags to the Cape May beaches (no tags required at the bay beaches), 7 beach chairs, 4 beach umbrellas, a beach cart, a picnic basket, 2 fishing rods and a bait box, and other outdoor items for your time at Miramar. Guests bring their own bike helmets and beach towels.

The kitchen and kitchen supplies address your every need for cooking and drinking.

Our home has a dedicated laundry area with full size washer and dryer.

There is beautiful hardwood floor throughout the main living space and bedrooms. Tile is found in the kitchen / dining area, laundry area, and bathroom.

Central A/C.

Outside you will find an outdoor patio, picnic table, outdoor shower, clothes line, propane grill, and shed that houses all outdoor essentials.

Miramar has Wifi and a large smart tv with Hulu provided (includes live tv). Tune into Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO etc. using your own accounts.

Blessings at Miramar!!

SO INVITING & HOMEY!! Loved being there. Felt like the owners were our relatives!! They had soooo many amenities never have we experienced this with a VRBO vacation…. Thank you so much!! We left fresh grounded coffee, some stevia, few organic eggs, stick butter and few bounce dryer sheets. Oh, a large colander since we did not look deep enough for one! lol 😂. THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS for making memories! ♥️. Debbie & Walt

Cape May Villas

The property and house is well maintained. The neighborhood is quiet and very clean. We were three blocks from the Bay, sidewalks led straight to the water. All of the sunsets were beautiful and never the same. Take a ride on Lewes Cape May Ferry, just make sure you book your travel in advance as space is limited. Plenty of ocean life to see. We plan to go to Cape May again and I will be booking this house again

Perfect Cape May Getaway

For personal reasons, we had to downsize our vacation plans to a shortened and quiet getaway and chose Cape May as the best option. Miramar by the Bay was the perfect choice for us to stay at and explore the area. First, the house was just as described with all the amenities you could ask for. There was more than enough room and we were very comfortable, The house is also one of the most organized rentals we've been in. Dana and Ben left directions and notes all over the house to clearly describe what was where and how to manage the house. Their communication before and during the rental was excellent as well. The house is close to pretty much every attraction you would want to explore, from the Cape May beaches to museums and gardens to restaurants and even Wildwood too. Lastly, if you stay at Miramar by the Bay, do NOT miss the sunset at the bayside beach just three blocks away. The view is incredible. All I can say is this rental is extremely comfortable and having such a good base to work from made our vacation that much more fun and relaxing; we had no worries about the house and it was a good place to come back to after a day of swimming, touring or whatever. I hope to rent here again if we do come back to Cape May.

We love sharing happiest place with travelers from far and wide who are discovering Cape May for the first time or returning year after year!

Our home is the ideal location! Walk 3 short blocks to the gorgeous Delaware Bay beach and Harpoons (fantastic beach restaurant/bar). Bike a very short distance to the ferry and Cox Hall Nature Preserve. Drive 7-10 minutes to any of the Cape May island ocean beaches.
