Very disappointing
Our experience was incredibly disappointing. We booked this condo through VRBO, only to arrive and find that management had no idea who we were. They claimed they didn’t know anyone named William (the listed owner) and stated they only advertise on another rental platform that I’m not allowed to state due to VRBO guidelines but —not VRBO. After a long drive with my elderly father and two children, this confusion was stressful and overwhelming. It took about 15 minutes for management to figure out who William was and realize he had listed the property without informing them. Once we were finally let in, the house was nicely located on the beach, but several key features were falsely advertised.The jacuzzi was empty and non-functional, there was a leak in the upstairs bedroom with the double beds (my son woke up soaked and had to sleep with his brother), and another leak was found downstairs. To top it off, the pool was under construction—none of which was disclosed in the listing. We took pictures. Given all these issues, we simply asked for a late check-out (just an hour past 11am), and they still refused. I would not recommend this property. There are many other options in the area with similar amenities and better service, not to mention closer proximity to better restaurants.
