“Another Day at the Beach” at 2 Beach Club Villa
Your heart will skip a beat when you first set your eyes on “Another Day at the Beach”, a beautiful, newly renovated, oceanfront townhome in Wild Dunes.
Beach Nourishment Notice – Isle of Palms
Like all barrier islands, the Isle of Palms experiences natural cycles of sand accumulation and erosion. While most of our beach remains healthy, two specific areas in Wild Dunes are showing signs of significant erosion.
• North Hot Spot: In front of the Ocean Club and Seascape communities, located at the northern tip of the island.
• South Hot Spot: Along Dunecrest Lane, Beachwood East, and Seagrove Villa.
To address these concerns, the City of Isle of Palms will begin an emergency beach nourishment project on April 10. The project involves relocating sand from a sandbar located in front of the Property Owners Beach House to these erosion-prone areas.
Work can only be conducted during low tide, when the sandbar is accessible. Below is the tentative schedule:
• April 10–24: Nourishment of the South Hot Spot
• April 24–May 8: Nourishment of the North Hot Spot
• May 8–22: Return to the South Hot Spot for additional nourishment
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to protect and preserve our beaches.
