This handcrafted log cabin sits on 43 private acres of forest and meadow, and offers unparalleled privacy amongst the surrounding mountains and valleys.
The cabin features a locally sourced stone fireplace, heated stone floors on the first level, knotty pine walls and ceilings throughout. With 3 bedrooms and 2½ baths, it comfortably sleeps up to 8 adults. The open concept living room, dining area, and kitchen is perfect for relaxing, entertaining, and enjoying home-cooked meals.
Outside, a large deck overlooks the meadow and forest, providing the perfect spot for wildlife & bird watching, reading, yoga, and more. Numerous hiking trails wind through the property. A fire pit in the meadow is ideal for stargazing and s'mores under the open night sky.

Beautiful spot

Beautiful property, beautiful house. We were here in December and got a whole bunch of snow! Great sledding hill right in the backyard. Host was great, easily available and welcoming. Will hopefully stay again.

Weekend Getaway

The trip was great and was EXACTLY as expected as the description of the property on the listing is so accurate. Very nice, very secluded, and very quiet. The fact that there’s a really nice restaurant - The Ponds - such a short distance away was icing on the cake! Would definitely return!

Great Stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Stone and Pine Log Estate. Nestled in the tranquil woods, it was a secluded private getaway. A short drive to Cooperstown for baseball tournaments. The house had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Highly recommend!

Peaceful, quiet, clean, comfortable

We needed a home for a family of 4 + dog for the HOF ceremony in Cooperstown (about 40 mins away). The house was spacious and clean and had plenty of room for the dog to run, and it’s nicely tucked away so very quiet. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

Perfect stay for the weekend

My family and I stayed at the Pine Log Estate this past weekend to join our family reunion which was right down the road at The Pond's Restaurant! The location was incredibly close to our reunion, the house was immaculate and well stocked, furnished and welcoming. I highly recommend this location for a weekend getaway to anyone. Had we had more time we would have sat outside at the fire pit... next time! The setup would be nice for a weekend with friends or a work retreat too!

Amazing Property

Came to visit Cooperstown and All-Star Village for a baseball tournament. Property was beautiful. Check-in was super easy. House was very clean and spacious. Enjoyed the peace and quiet of the countryside. Highly recommend!!

Easter Weekend With Family & Friends

We had an incredible weekend. Our sons came from Hartwick College. Our older son and his girlfriend also came. We had a couple of our sons teammates for Easter Dinner. We had a college level egg hunt on the beautiful property. We played games. We made nice meals. We had a great time! The house and property are beautiful.

Total tranquility

I am a frequent traveler to the Catskills. I come up every year for fall foliage and each time a find a new place to stay. I think this time i found the one i will come back to each time. Its was absolutely perfect the kitchen is very well stocked with everything you need to cook. The bedrooms are a nice size and beds are comfy. The scenery is breathtaking and super peaceful. If there is one thing that could be improved is the need for a dresser of some sort in the bedrooms. There is nothing to put your cloths in. I like to unpack and we had to keep everything in the suitcase.

Nice place!

Was a great place to get away! We stayed there while my son placed at Cooperstown All Star Village. The only thing is if it’s very hot there is no AC. It seems to be common to not have AC there so just be aware of that. Most of our trip was not humid and hot so it didn’t bother us.

Log Cabin in The country

Attending Cooperstown Allstar Village Tournament. Approx 25 min drive. Beautiful log with 1 master bedroom downstairs. One guest bathroom downstairs. Two bedrooms upstairs with common bathroom. Quiet, comfortable and well decorated. Kitchen was well supplied with utensils, dishwasher, refrig and dining. Laundry was well suited for us. Roku on television with guest sign in allowed. We cooked, barbecued, and used the fire pit. Overall a great stay. We hated to leave.

A Tranquil Retreat in the Heart of the Catskills: 5-Star Experience!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Stone & Pine Log Estate, and it was an exceptional experience. The property is exactly as described—nestled in the beautiful Catskill Mountains, offering complete privacy and tranquility. The cabin itself is immaculate, well-stocked, and full of character, from the heated stone floors to the knotty pine walls. The open-concept living area was perfect for quality time with family, and the outdoor fire pit provided a magical setting for stargazing and s'mores. We couldn't have asked for a better mountain getaway and highly recommend this property. 5 stars all around!
