Gorgeous Beach House, zu Fuß zum Strand, 4BR / 2Bth, 10 Personen, ich baute das Haus im Jahr 1997, hat es schöne Herz Holzfußboden, Fliesen bth Etagen, geräumig, sauber, Außendusche, Fisch cl Station, Bank Schaukel, Hängematte, abgeschirmt in Veranda, Schaukelstühle. Smart-TVs und 60 "im großen Saal. Große romantisches Wochenende und ideal für Hochzeiten oder Dusche Veranstaltungen. Am Ende einer Sackgasse, die für Kinder Verkehr begrenzt und sehr sicher macht. Viel Hof zum Spielen und gegossenem Beton Auffahrt zum Fahrrad fahren.

Priel im Hinterhof mit Krabben, Garnelen und Fisch. Casting ein Netz ist viel Spaß und crabbing.

Ruhige Lage, um weg und lassen Sie Ihren Körper und Geist Ruhe ohne Ablenkungen. Legen Sie in der Hängematte und lassen Sie die Meeresbrise Sie schlafen gelegt.

Wonderful home!

This was our third year at Lee and Susan’s home. It is the perfect setup for our 2 families of 4. Very close and easy walk to the beach. We cannot wait for next year!

Love this house!

This is our second time staying at Susie by the Sea. It's so close to the beach; its just 1 block away. The house is super clean and has a lovely kitchen. Everything was just fabulius. We were adulta and the 5 grandkids from ages 5-14. Highly recommend this house!

Fabulous Find!

This was our 2nd time to Susie by the Sea and it did not disappoint! For 6 adults, a 7, 5, & 2 year old plus an infant it was simply perfect. This year we rented a golf cart and it was a huge hit for the grands to ride around the island and see & do things! Susan & Lee are extremely nice to work with and my family feels blessed to get to enjoy their beautiful beach home! We love this place and making memories at Edisto

Great Experience

We have stayed at this property multiple times and it’s consistently a wonderful experience. The property is impeccably clean, the owners are helpful and courteous, and all the essentials (paper towels, linens, towels, etc.) are thoughtfully provided. Susie by the Sea is truly one of the best options on the island. Highly recommended.

Good location

We stayed here for a long weekend for spring break. The location is good to walk to the beach and a quick drive to the little shops and restaurants on the island. We enjoyed our stay.

Absolutely LOVED! We will be back!

This house is WAY better than even the listing makes it out to be! The entire property was SPOTLESS! Impeccable communication with the owner and we LOVED the location and backyard! My kids loved fishing in the creek and climbing the small oak tree! The beds are amazingly comfortable and the living room and kitchen were spacious enough for us to have a fantastic Thanksgiving feast! The 3 minute walk to the beach is beautiful and you can hear waves from the front porch! We cannot WAIT to come back!

Amazing!

This property and the owners are simply amazing! This was our second year renting this house and it is perfect for our family and friend’s family (total of 4 adults and 4 kids ages 8, 8, 6 and 5). Susan is incredibly responsive and available. Easy walk to the beach access. The boys loved the creek and dock in the backyard. The house layout is perfect and the kitchen had everything we needed for the week. We have already booked our time for Summer 2024!

We had a wonderful week at Edisto, the house was beautiful had lots of room for my whole family. It’s in a great location and short walk to the beach, which was a plus with 4 grandkids! We had everything we needed and then some at this house!! I would highly recommend this beach rental!

5 Star Home!

Felt like we hit the jackpot finding this beautiful home on Edisto! It was perfect for our family of 5 adults & 3 young grands (6,4, & 1) The close proximity to the beach, amazing porches (1 screened), outdoor shower to clean the sandy kiddos, fabulous hammock, huge bathrooms and well stocked gorgeous kitchen and lastly the most comfortable beds… this home far exceeded our expectations. Pictures don’t do it justice Lee & Susan were so easy to communicate with … our family would love to return “Susie By the Sea” very soon!

Great Stay

We had a great stay! The location is wonderful-super short walk to the beach. The house was very clean. We had a small issue with the listing showing bunk beds that are not there currently but a quick message with the owner and they had us all set with an air mattress. We would definitely recommend this house and would stay here again.

Summer 2022

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The house was large enough to accommodate our family. It was close enough to walk to the beach. We really appreciated the large driveway and dead-end street as we had a boat and numerous bicycles. Our only complaint was the cleanliness of the floors when we arrived. Edisto remains our favorite family beach. Certain we will be back.

Beautiful beach house!

We loved our stay in Edisto! House was perfect for our group. We came with my parents and 3 kids. The layout of the house allowed for us all to have some privacy on each side of the house, but come together in the main living/kitchen area. We loved the screened in porch and saw lots of wildlife in the backyard. The beach was so close - less than a 5 minute walk! Perfect for my kids (4,4, &2), and they loved coming back to wash off in the outdoor shower. Large driveway and quiet street was also wonderful for the kids. They had so much fun riding bikes, playing with bubbles, and drawing with chalk. My husband and I spent a few days working remotely and there was plenty of table and counter space for us to set up laptops. Overall, I would highly recommend!

We loved our stay here! The house was beautiful. We loved the large kitchen and screens in porch. The kitchen was very well stocked with anything you would need. Beds were comfy and bathrooms amazing. We also enjoyed the fire pit and dock on a tidal creek. Loved everything!

I will rent this home again!

The house was much nicer in person than in pictures. Plenty of seating, inside & out and the kitchen was well stocked with any pots, pans, etc. I loved the open living space! Very close to the beach access but removed enough that traffic noise wasn’t a problem. It was a great place to relax!!!

Excellent beach home

Excellent beach home on Edisto. Easy walk to the beach with kids. Thank you for loaning us the wagon and chairs, so helpful! We rented bikes, umbrella & boogie boards and spent all day everyday outside. The porches were perfect during summer rain storms and playing games in the evenings. We loved the outdoor shower. Perfect set up for multi-generational retreats! Thank you!

One of the BEST Edisto Houses

Lee and Susan are very responsive and easy to work with. The house was very clean and taken care of. The house was very well stocked and had everything you needed from beach chairs to kitchen knives to supplies and much more. Easy access to the beach. Very short walk if you wanted to walk. The house had a sports wagon you could use to haul everything to the beach. I liked that the house is on a dead end road so you do not have any through traffic. We go to Edisto every year and this is by far one of our favorites!

My wife Susan and I built this home in 1997. We live in Augusta Georgia which is only 150 mi away and went to Edisto for the easy access to offshore fishing which we love to do.
We now have 2 beautiful children, which our interest have changed some, and now we simply enjoy the family time with friends there.

Das macht diese Unterkunft einzigartig

Collecting shark teeth on the beach and biking on the island trails and parks. Also the fishing and crabbing. One of the best things to enjoy is learning about the turtles on this island. Turtles lay eggs May-June. Many hatchlings have been spotted on the front beach around Late August - Oct. It is a glorious site if you are lucky enough to be on the beach when a nest hatches!
