Summary:
From May 1 to June 30: Only the 4-BR, 3-BA main house will be available. Weekday work (M–F) will be limited to the pool house, where we are adding a 1-BR, 1-BA guest apartment.
Starting July 1: The property will offer a total of 5 BRs and 4.5 BAs. This includes the 4-BR, 3 BA main house and the new 1 BR, 1 .5BA guest apartment with its own kitchen & living room, plus an additional half BA by the pool.
After Oct 1: The writer's cottage will no longer be accessible.
The Space:
Set on 14 acres, this stunning property seamlessly blends historic charm with modern elegance. Enjoy the saltwater pool, firepit & sunset BBQs.
In summer, explore hiking trails and fish in nearby lakes. In winter, experience skiing and snowboarding thrills. Chatham (20 mins) and Woodstock (40 mins) offer additional adventures.
Step into the meticulously restored 4,500 sq.ft. barn, where historic charm and modern comforts seamlessly converge. This unique home, once a 19th-century barn used for hauling ice from the Hudson, offers more than just a space—it's an immersive experience where the past meets the present.
As you enter, the grandeur unfolds with soaring 25 ft ceilings and large doors that open onto the picturesque outdoors, revealing panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. For entertainment and relaxation, the vibrant blue TV room beckons with its generous sectional sofa and an enormous screen, promising delightful movie nights or immersive TV show marathons.
Head upstairs to find three inviting bedrooms designed for restful nights. The primary bedroom boasts a king bed, while the second bedroom offers a cozy queen. The third bedroom, ideal for younger guests, features two twin beds.
The fourth bedroom, a serene queen suite, is tucked away on the third floor, offering extra privacy and a cozy escape.
The home features three spacious bathrooms designed for convenience. On the first floor, bathroom 1 on the first floor offers a walk-in shower, while bathroom 2 on the second floor boasts a large tub and a luxurious walk-in shower. A newly added third bathroom on the second floor, sits between the primary and twin bedrooms, offering direct access from both rooms and the landing, complete with a walk-in shower and double sink.
