Pool House on the Lake with dock

This pool house on the lake is on an acre of property on Eagle Mountain Lake. You have the entire pool house to yourself. It can sleep 8 people but PLEASE note there is only one bathroom. We live on the property in an apartment over the garage. We are accessible but will bother you unless you need us. Fire pit, pool with slide/waterfalls, hammocks, kayaks, stand up paperboards, lily pad, dock with room for your boat, and more. The Eagle Mountain Marina is 1/2 mile away and they rent boats.


The space
The pool house is 1200 SF with kitchenette good for basic meals. Living area and table for 8 for dining or games. The sleeping is in a bunkroom with 2 queen beds below and two full beds above. The outdoor space has 6 loungers, tables, firepit, solo stove, hammocks, swings on the dock and more. You will have full access to fish on the dock or park your ski boat or fishing boat at our dock in the extra boat slip (We will need to know you are bringing one and be oriented to the dock by my husband in order to bring a boat). If you have a pontoon boat you want to bring you could tie up to the dock on the side. 2 kayaks available and lily pad. Pool has slide and waterfalls. Great for small groups or families who want to have a retreat.
Guest access
Full access to the pool house and any parts of the outdoor spaces. We stay in the apartment over the garage. Lots of parking!


Other things to note
This is NOT a good place to cook large meals. The pool house has a dishwasher, full sized refrigerator (in adjoining utility room) and microwave. There is an air fryer and hot plate so you can cook basic meals but this is not the place to come cook gourmet meals. If you want to grill out, cook basic meals and order pizza and door dash you will enjoy this kitchen!

This property is NOT toddler friendly! There are steep drops off of patio, no railing on the dock and inherent dangers from living on a lake. Also the pool is 11 feet deep in the end with the water slide. Children will need to be heavily supervised. We have an outdoor cat named Scooter. He is very friendly and will try to get into the Pool House but he is not allowed in there! It is best not to try to pick him up or pet him. Just leave him alone and he will sit by you on the pool deck and bask in the sun. We have a lab mix dog named Augie. We will keep him on leash while guests are on property.

There are life jackets under the carport in various sizes. Life jackets must be worn for kayaks and stand up paperboards.
