Birthday Trip

The house is in the heart of Pebble Beach with ocean views. A terrace extends across the entire back of the house. It is spacious and has a family feel to it. We loved every second of staying there. We have stayed here before and we will definitely be back. If you want to be in the center of Pebble Beach and all that that means this is the house for you.

Ideal rental walking distance to Lodge at Pebble Beach

We rented this house for the week of our daughter's wedding at the Lodge at Pebble Beach. Fifty of our guests stayed at the Lodge, and it was so convenient to walk over to visit with them and join them for meals, and then come back to a quiet space by ourselves. The house was immaculately clean when we checked in. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals all week. The neighborhood is completely quiet at night, and so peaceful that deer roam in the yard in the mornings. We hosted a day-after-the-wedding donut brunch for our guests, and the expansive patio was perfect for the event. We turned on the fire pit, and our guests loved the view. I would happily rent this property again. The house is beautiful and well-maintained, the location is ideal, and the property management is very professional. The Spa at Casa Palmero is also just a quick walk away, and it would be fun to come back for a girls' trip.

We loved the house, the location and the views. We were only sad about only having a week there. We will definitely be booking again. Susan and Mariela are wonderful - we forgot to leave the envelope with Marielas tip but at least I left her a hat! We’ll make it up to her next time x

Beautiful home in perfect location just next door to the Pebble Beach Lodge. We used room service from the Lodge several times -and it was excellent! Spacious home with wonderful views-and very clean! We will be back !

Lovely home in heart of Pebble Beach

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property (which is conveniently located next door to the Pebble Beach lodge). We were a party of grandparents, parents, toddler, infant, and the house suited all needs. We're already looking forward to another stay here next year!

Peaceful oasis with spectacular views

An amazing home and amazing location! Perfect escape to quarantine. The house is beautiful, but spent most of our two weeks sitting outside by the firepit and soaking up the views. Susan is very responsive and a terrific host. Highly recommended!!!

Incredible Home

This home is a 1960's masterpiece, built to raise a family and entertain in one of the grandest locations of them all. With views of Stillwater bay and the surrounding carmel mountains, and literally a stone's throw from the Pebble Beach resort, you can't beat this location. Oh, and you can order room service from any of the restaurants at the lodge! But, what my family and I enjoyed the most was the home itself . Built with such space in every room that the concept of an open floor plan seems redundant, and instead every room provides a unique, but interconnected experience that was a treat for my family. - we particularly loved the padded reading benches in the bay windows throughout the house! My daughter is just over two years old and she was enamored with all of the beautiful double doors separating rooms... "hi!".. "goodbye!" she'd giggle-out while opening and closing them. We played a game with the swinging door between the butler's pantry and the dining room.. "oh, hi!!", "oh, goodbye!"... we'd laugh as we'd exchange places on either side of the door. My son is 7 months old and we were able to place him in the bedroom just off the master - and he slept well! Oh, and the TV has xfiinity, so we logged into Netflix and Amazon Prime and were able to watch movies with the kiddos when we needed a break. My wife and I enjoyed sitting outside in the evenings when the kiddos were asleep - the views and the large natural gas fire pit were awesome. World class food delivered by the Pebble Beach resort staff, (oh, and we brought some yummy wine, but could have ordered that as well!) was enough to make for a perfect night. One night it rained and we sat and played dominos inside on a family room table with a fire crackling along side us. Wonderful time. A couple of small tips - bring shampoo, for some reason we didn't seem to find any; oh, and bring a portable music player - jambox, sonos move, etc... we didn't find anything for indoor/outdoor sound. All in all, an amazing experience in an amazing house! ps - though I didn't play golf on this trip, I'm a golfer and I can't help but think this is the perfect house for a golfing trip (with or without families). I paid nearly as much last year for a room for my Dad and I at the Lodge off the 18th hole (note: currently torn down!)... the house is no-brainer comparitively... it's even closer to the lodge than our room was!

Excellent Location!

If you want to be in Pebble Beach, the location of this home could not be better. The Lodge with restaurants and shopping (and golf) is literally next door and the spa is across the street. Staying at this home actually makes you feel like you are part of the Lodge itself. The home is spacious and very clean with a well-equipped kitchen and extremely comfortable beds. It's very quiet, serene environment and perfect for rest and relaxation. Easy drives to Carmel, Pacific Grove and Monterey. The owner, Susan, is lovely to deal with. Our stay could not have been better and we definitely plan on renting this home again.

Fantastic Getaway

We rented this house for two weeks and loved every second of our stay. The home is beautiful with amazing views. There is a spacious patio with a large fire table; we sat outside every morning and evening enjoying the fire table. The beds are extremely comfortable-- great pillows as well. It is so close to the Pebble Beach Lodge- just a couple minutes walk; we enjoyed many dinners at the lodge restaurants and especially loved that we didn't have to worry about driving home. It is also a quick drive to Carmel. I can't say enough about how much we loved the house! The kitchen is spacious- I enjoyed cooking a few meals there as well. Susan, the homeowner, is lovely and very attentive to your needs. We plan to stay for a month next year.

Our perfect month long getaway vacation home!

We have rented this gorgeous home for the past three years and have loved every minute being at Pebble Beach. We spend one month here each year and enjoy it by ourselves as well as with our family. The home and the gardens are beautifully maintained as you can see by the photos on this website. The house is great for entertaining as the kitchen and dining rooms are spacious and the outside deck is very large. If it is warm, we sit out and enjoy the ocean view. If it is foggy we light the fire pit and enjoy a cozy evening. The kitchen is well equipped for preparing dinners. The grill is right outside the kitchen and easy to use. The beds are incredibly comfortable which is very important to us. The house is quite large so you never feel on top of each other. The spa is across the street and you have access to many of the golf clubs at Pebble Beach so there is great variety. The hikes to the ocean are beautiful. We bring friends to the lodge for cocktails or dinner as it is walking distance. We are very close to downtown Carmel and frequent it often. We like to vacation in homes that are as clean and comfortable as ours and this one definitely ranks right up there. We could not recommend it any more highly. Susan is a gracious home owner and will do everything to make you feel comfortable.

I can help plan your travel itinerary since I am so familiar with the Monterey Peninsula and all of California. I also own Tradewinds Carmel, a luxury boutique hotel in downtown Carmel, so I know how to set up the house for guests and make you feel special. I buy only the finest linens, towels and bath products. I will try to satisfy all special requests. I have had very discerning guests stay at Cypress and several have now decided to return each year. I am passionate about what I do and want each guest to feel special!

One block down the street is Stillwater Cove, the pier and the private beach. There is so much to do just within a few steps!
