Cozy Cabin in Cooper's Creek Area

We allow pets, per owner approval only. All pets must be kenneled. We do have kennels you can borrow. The pet fee is $150 per stay.

We allow no one under the age of 30, no children please.

We live on property. We would like to meet and greet you when you arrive, to show you the ins and outs of this charming cabin.

Fall in love with the quiet and calmness of nature. You will most likely see a variety of wildlife, especially birds and deer. Sit back and relax. Breathe in the fresh mountain air and all of your worries will melt away.

This little cabin was built in the early 1950's, by a local man named John Gooch. It was updated with wavy pine exterior in the 90's. 2019 brought in a new roof, insulation, new flooring, new windows, all new appliances, new shower stall, plumbing, land line telephone, septic, well water & WiFi. Hand made black walnut cabinets, sliding barn doors to the bedroom and shelves by Scott Wade ~ The Woodpecker Man, were brought in, in 2019 as well.

Located near beautiful Sea Creek Falls waterfall and hiking trails ~ such as the Appalachian Trail and Benton Mackaye Trail. The Swinging Bridge is about 7 miles away. Drive a beautiful scenic route to Brasstown Bald (33 miles ~ 45 minutes) ~ the highest point in all of Georgia. Visit local wineries such as Odom Springs or Living Waters. German themed Helen Ga. is about 45 - 50 minutes away. Nearby towns such as Blue Ridge, Dahlonega and Blairsville are a delight!
