Unsere Unterkunft ist ideal für einen Familienurlaub, daher erlauben die Eigentümer nur Buchungen, bei denen verantwortliche Erwachsene für die Betreuung unserer Gäste verantwortlich sind. Wir sind ein luxuriöses Mini-Anwesen, fünf Minuten von St. Michaels, wir buchen Samstags bis Samstagsferien oder einen Monat lang Urlaub. Dieses Anwesen verfügt über ein traditionelles Teleskophaus des Eastern Shore mit formellen Wohn- und Esszimmer, ein Familienzimmer und eine große Wohnküche mit italienischem Fliesenboden und allen Küchengeräten aus Edelstahl. Das Haus ist komfortabel mit englischen und asiatischen Antiquitäten eingerichtet. Ein Bio-Gemüsegarten, ein Pool und ein Patio am Wasser überblicken die tiefe Bucht, die einen ruhigen Blick auf das Wasser und eine Vielzahl von Wasservögeln im Sommer wie im Winter bietet. Es gibt ein Schlafzimmer im ersten Stock mit eigenem Bad mit eingeschränkter Behinderung (Rollstühle bis zu 22 Zoll).

Perfect waterside oasis!

This house is pristinely maintained inside and out. She has done an amazing job anticipating anything a guest could need. The kitchen had all the essentials to cook great meals. The beds were comfy. The pool was perfection! Really can’t find a thing to complain about! (And I’m picky!!)

My family spent a week at Mandy’s gorgeous property. She was a caring and thoughtful host, and the home was even more beautiful than the pictures reveal. A total gem. The location was a short drive into town and close to Easton as well. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend!

Our stay at Content far exceeded our expectations. Mandy, the property owner, was communicative and so friendly from check in to check out. Property was pristine, with every comfort you could want. We have been staying at the Eastern shore for 10 years now and I can easily say the best home I have stayed in. It was so hard to leave!

Having traveled to the area several times, we were looking for a special venue for a family gathering. Fortunately, we were able to book The Content for a week. Christmas at Content

Finely appointed and clean estate in St. Michaels. We had everything we could have wanted and then some for our family stay. Comfy living with beautiful views of the creek and a lawn for the kids and pup to play. We enjoyed the fireplace and kitchen amenities, and the host provided a lovely welcome basket for our arrival. Can't wait to visit again!!!

Contented in Content

This HOME is in a beautiful location overlooking a tranquil cove. The house is superbly maintained and is fully equiped with everything you could need for a vacation home. The pool was wonderful on hot summer days. The location is ideal for quick access to all the restaurants and museums in the St. Michaels area. The owner went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to ensure we had eveything we could wish for and even made Maggie (our Goldendoodle) feel spoiled! We had two wonderful weeks at “Content”, and we left very contented and wishing we could have stayed longer. We look forward to visiting again.

Wonderful Vacation

Everything about our stay at this property was wonderful. The house is immaculate and has everything you could possibly need to feel comfortable and enjoy a relaxing vacation. The view was serene, with almost no boat traffic. The large, flat yard and the pool were a big hit with our kids and our dog. We loved having access to the garden for fresh herbs and it was wonderful to be able to bring our dog on vacation with us. Mandy was an excellent host and we will definitely come back for another visit soon!

Absolutely perfect

We travel a lot and are fussy, and we have rented in St. Michael's before. This house was wonderful---meticulously maintained, decorated with great taste, well-equipped kitchen, all needs and wants anticipated. The setting is spectacular---glorious water, many places to sit and watch the birdlife, perfect pool, lovely screen porch for dining late into the night. We hated to leave.

A SLICE OF HEAVEN IN ST. MICHAELS

This "Slice of Heaven" in St. Michaels will forever be one of the best homes we have rented. From the welcome basket and champagne to toast our recent marriage to every detail throughout the home - your stay either it be one week or one month will have you leaving relaxed and spoiled. We invited some friends from DC to share in all the property has to offer (beautiful pool, gorgeous dock and land, and comfortable interior spaces) as they walked away in Ahh of the property. Do not hesitate to book this home as you will be happy you did - we are.

Perfect family getaway

Lovely, well-maintained, well-stocked, air conditioned house, sited on a huge, flat green lawn by the water. One bed/bath downstairs; 3 bedrooms/2 baths up. Having a pool was delightful, particularly because it was so hot the week we were there. One caveat: the pool is not fenced. The toddler with us was unable to open doors to the outside and we 6 adults were vigilant, so the pool did not present any issues. Wouldn't hesitate to return to this terrific place!

I wanted thank the owners for the wonderfully calm and peaceful experience of staying at their lovely home. The time I spent there was nothing less than the most pleasant and restful vacation I have enjoyed in many years. Your home leaves nothing unfinished. Wonderful Family Vacation at Content

Our family had the great pleasure of spending a relaxing week at this glorious house in St Michaels. The property is amazing, both inside and out. Beautifully decorated and comfortable rooms, fully equipped kitchen, fantastic salt water pool and serene water views. Mandy, the property owner was so welcoming and generous, after inquiring about what we would like to have on had to drink that first day left us a nice sampling of wine and beer along with snacks. Our days were spent in and around the pool enjoying the comfortable chaise lounges, umbrellas and comfy towels that were on hand for our use. Abundant water birds soaring overhead and hummingbirds flitting about the feeders were a joy to watch. In the evenings we sat on the Adirondack chairs gazing up at the numerous stars that can be seen in the night sky here. We could not have picked a better spot for our family vacation this year. We will have many wonderful memories of our time spent at Content.

Two weeks of sheer heaven at Comfort.

My husband, daughter and her husband and two children had a wonderful vacation in this beautifully furnished house. The owner could not have been more pleasant, accommodating or generous in seeing to it that we had a great stay. The salt water swimming pool is large and the water stays at a nice temperature during the day and evening. We love kayaking and had many fun paddles on Broad Creek. We enjoyed eating meals on the screened porch with its view of the water and the delightful antics of the hummingbirds who came to get nectar from the feeders just outside. We would return to Comfort in a heartbeat.

Absolutely Wonderful!

We chose this property for our family vacation this year; there were 8 of us altogether, 2 of whom are children. Everyone absolutely loved the home-- it truly felt like a home away from home--and enjoyed our stay, even the 11 year old! The property is private, with lots of grass for playing and running outside. The view is amazing and so peaceful. We felt as if we were at a resort when we were on the back patio and pool area with wonderful padded chaise lounges, umbrellas, and towels. The owner is definitely the hostess with the mostest, having thought of every need one may have and making the entire experience luxurious and comfortable. We will be back.

My husband surprised me with a "get away" week to St Michael's in July; when he showed me the photos online I began to count down the days. We arrived with my 81 year old mother, niece, step son, girlfriend, and dog in tow and immediately fell in love with the place. So much so, we booked again end Aug-Sept for two weeks. The home/property really is an extension of the lovely owner -- warm, elegant, natural, and clearly, an incredible host. We immediately felt a sense of home (with a better view!). On our first visit we were greeted with two lovely welcome baskets: one for 'humans' (filled with goodies from local vendors) and another for our dog, Scout. The second stay included Kitty treats for the other four legged member of our family. The property is private and the view spectacular with an updated pool facing the water. From the well stocked kitchen to the fluffy white bath towels, over sized pool towels, and comfortable yet elegant furnishings, the rental really did become home for two weeks. (So much so I think the owners were concerned about squatters rights!) My husband and I were pretty specific in what we wanted in a home away from home: privacy, updated but not overdone, elegance with Eastern shore feel, pet friendly, clean, dock, spacious with unobstructed water views, close to town (under 3 miles) and enough yard for the dog to roam. We were delighted with the fresh Vegetable garden with delicious tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, etc and now add that to our "must have" list should we look outside of St Michael's. As for vacationing on the Eastern Shore, we are set -- we found our Home Away from Home in this exquisite property and we are already lining up for our next stay.

Serenity Now

We rented this lovely home for 2 weeks over the 4th of July weekend. Upon entering there is a long beautiful driveway and you find yourself exhaling. The house is spacious , very clean and well stocked. The 4 bedrooms were lovely and spacious. For a 4 day period there were 8 of us occupying the house. We did some cooking at the house and found the kitchen to be well Equipped. There is a well maintained garden and the owner encouraged usage which I took full advantage of. The house gets lots sun in the late morning / early afternoon so the pool was a welcome addition. There is an additional shower off the screened in porch that came in handy! The yard is super spacious and also well maintained. The owner is so gracious and provided handbooks for any and everything one might need to know. Her restaurant recommendations are spot on. There are local supermarkets, seafood markets, local produce, restaurants and golfing just minutes away. By 5:30pm head down to the dock and enjoy the peace and quite of the evening. There is rarely traffic on the water and its still. So if you're into paddle boarding or kayaking its perfect! Lots of beautiful birds and butterflies are on the property. We did spend the evenings out on the patio by the pool so there are mosquitos. I remedied that problem with citronelle candles. This is a great property for all occasions. It is exactly as descibed and more. We live in DC and traveling back and forth a couple times took about 1hr 20min! If I over used the words well maintained .... Sorry but it is;) Cheers!

The best week ever.

I can't remember enjoying a week more. The house is beautiful, one can tell great care was used in selecting the furnishings. Everything is of the highest quality and yet comfortable and relaxing at the same time. The kitchen is well-equipped, I found everything I wanted, and the view from the breakfast table is glorious. One feels at home. The water is right at the edge of the property, a stroll to the dock always rewarded the birdwatcher. Total privacy and yet the town of St. Michael's has great restaurants, intriguing shops, and local history to delve into, and it's just minutes away.

Surround yourself with peace and comfort

This home is as beautiful and welcoming as shown in the photographs. Our family had a wonderful week relaxing by the water in this picture perfect setting. I can't say enough about the special touches that make you feel right at home, only better. The owner's warmth and style greet you at every corner. We enjoyed the organic veggie garden, the deep water dock for our boat, crabbing off the pier, and beautiful sunrises. My little girl told her older sister, "Just look how the sunlight dances on the water!" I'd like to keep this place as my own little secret....

we were more than content at "Content"

This was our second stay at "Content" having stayed there last year for the first time. Last year, were wary about whether or not the photos and the description would match the reality of the place as we had never rented a property before. We were more than excited by the the house and the property upon arrival. It is the most meticulously cared for place and more lovely than imagined. The furnishings are beautiful and the kitchen area offers , in abundance, the most wonderful gathering place for all enjoying the bliss which is "Content". I cannot praise the owners enough for offering a place of true contentment and an unwaivering sense for what would be in the renters best interest. We consider ourselves more than fortunate to have found this lovely, peaceful escape and we hope to return yearly and as often as is possible.

Immaculate, Fabulously Comfortable House.

I fell in love with this house the moment I walked in. My family and I had a week of absolute bliss and luxury here. No attention to detail has been spared, from the extremely comfortable furnishings, to the array of kitchen equipment, the high quality beds, lovely bed linens and towels, the pristine swimming pool, and so much more besides. Wherever we took our meals, be they in the large and bright kitchen, formal dining room or in the garden, we looked out to the water and felt so privileged to be enjoying this degree of comfort - and eating organic vegetables from the owners' garden. How lucky can you get! We feel no need to look elsewhere for rentals, this house left us yearning for our next visit.

I am a British Colonial born in Hong Kong, I met my American husband who bought me to beautiful St Michaels, MD where we fell in love with "Content" an old farm house on Broad Creek. We have spent 34 happy years here adding an addition and upgrading the old home. We have traveled all over the world in our business life and have found no where as beautiful, safe tranquil and a perfect family gathering destination.

"Content" is just 5 minutes drive from the town of St Michaels, yet we are on a quiet creek, a great home for small family gatherings, the home is meticulously clean and maintained, a great organic veggie garden for our guests to enjoy. Kitchen is fully stocked.
