from the moment you arrive for easy self check-in, our smart home puts all the options at your fingertips. The semi-open plan kitchen, dining and living spaces span the front of the home and are finely appointed with leather sofas, personally curated art, and top appliances from Breville, Vitamix and other luxury brands, making it easy to plan the day’s adventures over breakfast or make cocktails between the beach and dinner out under the twinkling lights of St. Augustine just a few minutes away. The back door leads to a spacious deck with outdoor seating and dining, a coveted feature for the area.

The rear sections of the bungalow include the bedrooms as well as a laundry room with brand new quiet machines. The primary bedroom with en suite bathroom and walk-in closet includes a Tuft & Needle Queen bed, Smart TV, Alexa Smart Speaker for easy control of features like lights, door locks and music, blackout curtains for sound sleep, and the little touches you won’t get in a normal Airbnb: tables & lamps at both bedsides, wireless charging pads, and high quality bedding & design elements. Off the central hallway, you’ll have two more bedrooms, both as luxuriously furnished as the primary suite; one room contains another Tuft & Needle Queen bed, and the other offers two Twin Tuft & Needle beds, perfect for accommodating families or groups of friends. As in the primary suite, the hall bath includes granite countertops, a luxurious shower, large mirrors and great toiletries.

AUGUSTINE: the oldest city in the US, our part of Florida is a magical mix of history and living in the moment, things we’re excited for you to experience while you’re our guest. Our home is located just outside the traffic and noise of downtown St. Augustine, a few minutes drive to the beach, the fort, great museums & dining, walking tours of the city and nature excursions into the beautiful environment surrounding the area. As a visitor, we know it can be stressful to find the best restaurants, beaches and activities, so after you book, we’ll send you a big list of our favorite spots so you can relax and enjoy the best of what St. Augustine has to offer. Whether you want to wander back in time through historical sites and sparkling examples of classic Florida architecture, or experience the best new restaurants after hitting the beach, we can’t wait to help you have a magical trip.

Guest Access:
The whole bungalow is your retreat from the world while you’re our guest! Minutes to St. Augustine’s historic district, but in a quiet residential neighborhood with free parking. With three bedrooms, four beds, two baths, open plan living space, and a spacious back deck for al fresco dining and enjoying the beautiful weather, you’ll have everything you need for a fun and relaxing visit, with the beach, historic sites and tons of dining options within a few minutes drive

PLEASE CONTACT US PRIOR TO BOOKING IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO REVIEW RENTAL AGREEMENT.

We charge for additional guests above a fixed amount. This amount and additional charge varies by unit type, size, and configuration. If you input the correct guest count when you make your reservation the amount the booking site indicated as the total cost will not change (due to guest count). We ask for confirmation of guest count after you complete your booking. If you need to increase your guest count after booking confirmation due to a booking error, this could result in a price increase. Finally, we verify guest count via external cameras located on our properties. In the event that we notice a guest count at the property that is higher than reported, we reserve the right to ask for additional guest fees that would be double the amount we would have charged prior to check-in.

Kindly refer to the following guidelines regarding fees for extra guests:
Studio & 1 BR units - $25 per guest/night after 2 guests (i.e. 3 guests would be $25/night extra and 4 guests would be $50/night extra)
2 BR units - $30 per guest/night after 4 guests (i.e. 5 guests would be $30/night extra and 6 guests would be $60/night extra)
3 BR unit - $35 per guest/night after 6 guests (i.e. 7 guests would be $35/night extra and 8 guests would be $70/night extra)
4 BR units - $40 per guest/night after 8 guests (i.e. 9 guests would be $40/night extra and 10 guests would be $80/night extra)
5 BR+ units - $45 per guest/night after 10 guests (i.e. 11 guests would be $45/night extra and 12 guests would be $90/night extra)

If you are highly allergic to dogs this home may not be a good fit for you. Our cleaning service is very good, but you may notice an occasional dog hair here and there.

Pet Friendly! **WITH FEE** If you are bringing a pet, please be sure to add your pet to your booking! We do charge a pet fee of $40/night / pet that you bring with you. This reduces to $200/week per pet and $400/month per pet for longer term guests. This fee is not included in the accommodation fare rate. We will send a request for the additional funds once the number of pets is confirmed after booking.

*If you neglect to inform us ahead of time that you are bringing a pet with you then we reserve the right to either TERMINATE your stay early or DOUBLE the pet fee retroactively for the entirety of your reservation.*

All guests have access to the common areas of the property (front porch, laundry room, backyard).
If another set of guests, our cleaners, or a property notices that there is guest property or trash left out, this will be removed. If we can’t distinguish property from trash, there is a possibility it will be thrown out.
If this continues (I.e. you use shared space as personal space and/or throw what appears to be trash there), we reserve the right to ask you to check out early / move to another listing at your cost.

Gatherings/parties of any kind are strictly forbidden at this property. If you host a gathering/party/event at this property we will levy a $1000 fine and call the police to end it immediately. A gathering/party is any event where the guests in the property at ANY time exceeds the listing's capacity or is more than the stated number of guests on the reservation.

We have a minimum 7 day stay requirement for local guests. We rarely make an exception to policy but may elect to do so at our sole discretion. If you are local to Jax and book for less than 7 days we reserve the right to ask you to cancel your reservation.

The following additional charges apply to late check outs/early arrivals, assuming we can offer this at all (we often can’t so please never assume this will be allowed):

1 hr or less early arrival or late departure: $100
1-2 hr early arrival/late departure: $200
2-3 hr early arrival/late departure: $300
3+ hr early arrival/late departure: $400 or the cost of an additional night’s stay, whichever is more

These fees are primarily in place to highly discourage late checkouts/early arrivals since this causes our cleaning service undue stress to prep the unit prior to your or the next set of guest’s arrival. This also increases the need for them to rush/cut corners, increasing the likelihood of them not cleaning the unit to the high standard which we hold them to.

*Smoking is strictly forbidden anywhere on the property - the house, front or back yard*

*If we find cigar/cigarette butts of any kind on the property or evidence of smoking (ash on porch, deck, empty cigarette packs, etc.) we will assess a $500 cleaning fee in addition to the regular cleaning fee*

Also, Saturday check-ins and check-outs are (generally) not allowed unless you are booking a stay that is >7 days, with the exception of some specific weekends (FL-GA and TPC Sawgrass weekends are a few examples) . We may allow an exception to this policy (depending on the specific weekend and season) but reserve the right not to do so or to ask you to modify of cancel a reservation starting or ending on a Saturday.

You are strictly forbidden from bringing firearms or items associated with them (including guns, bullets, gunpowder, shells, magazines, silencers, etc.) on this property whether or not they are licensed. If you violate this policy or we find evidence that you did (e.g. firearms or bullets are discovered by our cleaners following your stay) we will assess a $1000 fine.

For guests requiring a pack n play, high chair, or any other non-standard item, please submit your request at least 7 days before check-in to ensure availability. If the request is made less than 7 days prior to check-in, we will make every effort to accommodate it, but cannot guarantee availability.

*** Please be aware that we cannot put ANYTHING down the toilets. If we find evidence of wipes put down the pipes during a stay with us, we will reach out to guests to discuss the details about the compensation. The cost could be over $1k. ***

Great dog friendly rental!

We just stayed at this newly renovated home over the Christmas holiday… It was clean, well decorated, well appointed, and conveniently located in a safe and quiet neighborhoodjust outside of Downtown about a four minute drive.The host was so responsive and helpful… Highly recommend!

Lovely little spot in St. Augustine!

The house was absolutely beautiful, tastefully decorated; and the backyard space was cozy and delightful. There is a gorgeous mural map with QR codes of St. Augustine on the wall, which we admired all week.There were a few small issues - 1-2 light bulbs needed changed in both bathrooms; one of the bedside lights in the one bedroom was non-operational; dishwasher didn't work (we like to cook in and had to hand wash dishes all week) that caused us to remove one star.Overall, still a great place to stay!

St Augustine stay-cation

We traveled from Tampa to St Augustine for our middle schooler's spring break and the house couldn't have been better. We really enjoyed that the house was just outside of the busy areas of St Augustine, but a quick 5 minute drive into town and everything there. The house was very clean and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. All in all, we couldn't have had a better place as base camp for our week in St Augustine!!!

The house was very good. No soap in the bathroom. Plants really bad better to no have plants specially at the entrance of the house. Very organize. One of the bedrooms has a very tiny beds.
