As you step into the townhome, the open concept first floor welcomes you with a spacious living room featuring a roomy sectional and an oversized flat-screen TV—your perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploration. The bar cart adds a touch of fun, providing a novel experience for crafting your evening cocktails. Beyond the living room, the bright kitchen is fully equipped, inviting you to prepare delicious meals at your leisure.
The first floor also boasts a convenient half bath and laundry areas, ensuring practicality during your stay. Step outside to the fenced-in back patio, adorned with charming string lights. Here, you can relax in one of the comfortable chairs, s or sway gently in a hammock, soaking in the quiet ambiance.
Venture upstairs to discover three tastefully decorated bedrooms, each offering a unique retreat. The primary bedroom, with its queen-size bed, provides a charming view of Edison St. The second queen-size room, bathed in golden hues, offers a comfortable and stylish space. The third bedroom doubles as a home office, featuring a versatile futon sleeper and a functional desk—ideal for work or as an additional sleeping space.
Situated in a prime location, this vacation rental provides the best of both worlds—proximity to DC and a tranquil escape in the evenings. Backing onto the Birchmere, you can catch one of the many shows without any disturbance from the concert hall noise. The 4 Mile Run Trail, perfect for cycling, jogging, and leisurely strolls, is nearby. This home is a row house with neighbors on either side; please be mindful. This property is an easy walk to Del Ray but please note it is not in Del Ray. The location is great for getting to all the area has to offer!

Guest Access:
Guests have access to both levels of the townhome and the back patio during their stay.
Parking is on the street out front of the townhome. Please note there is scheduled street cleaning every Wednesday morning from 9-12 and you must move your car to the other side of the street or around the corner.
The Neighborhood:
The friendly Arlandria neighborhood, also affectionately called Little Chiralagua for the large number of El Salvadorens who emigrated here from that region, is vibrant and colorful and full of great restaurants and bodegas. Great place to practice your Spanish while visiting the area. We are 20 minutes to DC by car or Metro, and have all you need to enjoy a relaxing getaway to unwind, telework, remote learn, or anything else you wish to do! Dozens of restaurants, most with outside dining, and trendy shops are right outside the door. Not to mention the Birchmere right behind us. Walk to the nearby Mom's Organic Market or the Sunday Four Mile Run Market with live music, or venture a little further to the Del Ray Farmers' Market. There are several coffee shops, sushi places, pizza places, Italian restaurants, etc. close by. Also right outside our door is a bike/walking trail. Just outside the hip Del Ray neighborhood and all it has to offer. Close to Historic Old Town with its many boutique shops and restaurants, and another amazing Farmers' Market dating back to George Washington's day. Plus sailing, paddle boarding, and kayaking opportunities on the Potomac. We'd love to host you! Ask us for any recommendations. We have been in the area for decades!
Getting Around:
Car, metro, bus, bike, walk. Park on street, move car to other side of street on Wednesdays from 9-noon for street cleaning.
Other Things to Note:
Dogs under 30lbs. are welcome! If you have a larger animal, please let us know as this may be possible on a case to case basis. We are also happy to provide local boarding recommendations.

The house is located in a natural & wooded area, so you may see & hear bugs, furry critters of all sizes (including but not limited to deer, squirrels, and rodents), & reptiles. Our property has regularly scheduled pest control, however, we cannot guarantee that any such critters will not be visible in & around the property. Please try to keep the doors closed, do not leave food outside to prevent entry of unwanted critters. Do not feed any wildlife as they are wild animals. No refunds will be provided if a local critter visits the property.
