Downtown Coupeville is within walking distance with great coffee shops, restaurants, parks, convenience stores, and souvenir shops. A must-visit is the iconic Coupeville Wharf on Penn Cove - it's a symbol of the seafaring days and today it hosts a boat dock, a coffee shop, a gift shop, and a restaurant. Other exciting places to visit are the nearby Island County Historical Museum, Fort Ebey, Fort Ebey State Park, and Fort Casey.

As this retreat is made up of two condos and one studio, it's just perfect for large family gatherings and friends' getaways. The getaways are appointed with well-equipped kitchens with all the essentials to prepare tasty treats and homemade meals, inviting and airy living areas with smart TVs with cable and streaming to keep you all entertained, and washers/dryers so you don't have to worry about laundry during your stay. Two of the three getaways are equipped with private balconies offering unbeatable views of Penn Cove.

Best place to stay in Coupeville!

Prime real estate on Front Street, literally over the water! Jaw dropping views of the most dreamy sunrises! Three apartments for our family that were all stocked with everything we needed to make for our Christmas celebration! Coffee shop attached and great restaurants and shopping right outside. Such an amazing experience and I can’t wait to return!

Lovely visit

Coupeville’s waterfront is stunning. Two of the units really provided a front row seat to that beauty. The town is easily walkable and accessible to wonderful trails. The local manager was great and helped with any questions. The security locks are intense and a bit cumbersome but once you get used to that, there were no issues. We would stay here again.

Great location

The property is in a great spot! We enjoyed watching all the wildlife from the balcony and the kids enjoyed swimming during high tide. We wish the unit would have been stocked a little better. We didn’t have laundry detergent in our unit which was a bummer since the hide-a-bed sheets were dirty when we arrived. My guess is that the cleaning crew didn’t know it had been used. But the detergent would have been helpful. One of the unity didn’t have coffee to use in the coffee maker but we were able to share from the other units. Overall, we really enjoyed the property and would highly recommend it.

Great Condos on the Waterfront

Loved the condos and the location! Had a hard time finding entrance to one of the units, because it was outside and down stairs. Listing said all three units had private balconies but upstairs unit did not have a balcony and it faced the street. Units were super clean and really nice! Loved being right on Front Street near wharf, shops, restaurants and Toby's Tavern. Overall really happy with our stay and would love to stay her again!

Gorgeous Views, Prime Location, But Room for Improvement

The vacation rental in downtown Coupeville offers stunning views of the bay from the two water-facing units. The location is perfect—right in the heart of Coupeville, with shops and walking trails just a short stroll away. Units are modern and airy, with new furnishings and fun coastal decor. Coffee shop in same building is convenient, but does create noise starting around 7am, which could be bothersome for light sleepers. Kitchen is well-stocked with essentials like plates, cups, utensils, and coffee-making supplies. However, the property management left much to be desired. We experienced a frustrating 1.5-hour delay accessing the units due to issues with the automated locks and instructions from Vacasa. We had also requested an early check-in, but despite the units being cleaned well before 3pm, we weren’t contacted. The wifi was another issue. One of the three units had no wifi at all, and the other two had very weak signals, barely usable in limited areas. Additionally, the water-facing units are advertised as accommodating 4 people, but the pullout beds were uncomfortable, and the main rooms had large windows without coverings, making it impossible to sleep past sunrise or have privacy. While the location and views were fantastic, the overall experience could be greatly improved with better management, reliable wifi, and more comfortable sleeping arrangements.

Beautiful location, new property manager less so…

Best location in Coupeville! This remains our favorite place for easy access to everything downtown, along with the best porch views of the wharf and the cove anywhere in town. We are definitely looking forward to our next annual trip there this October. However, the quality of customer service, and even cleanliness, has fallen off slightly since Alexandra turned the property over to Vacasa. It was not as clean as usual, and multiple requests for service on Friday when unacknowledged for 48 hours. WiFi was spotty, towels were missing, and toilet paper was undersupplied for a four day stint. So after two days, to be told that policy prevented them from addressing some of the issues and that they would address towels, no towels showed up. A week later, I got an acknowledgment that they needed to deliver towels, but since we had already checked out they assume we didn’t need them anymore. Toilet paper and towels are fixable, but the WiFi is unacceptable. Under prior management, each unit used to have its own Wi-Fi connection through frontier; this is now been replaced with a single connection shared across all the units, with, as you might expect, spotty coverage at best. Oh and thanks to “Vacasa” checkout is now 10am, with 11am requiring a special request. How is that good for the guest? We look forward to hearing that the owner has resolved the problems with the management company before our next trip, and you should too if you’re considering this property. Thank you.
