Summer or winter, the classic Northern Wisconsin experience awaits at this tree-lined home in Mercer. Enjoy generous space to relax inside and out and easy walking access to Grand Portage Lake.

This two-story home sits less than a mile from the heart of small-town Mercer, right between Echo and Grand Portage Lakes. It's an area that's wonderful for fishing, cycling, kayaking, ATVing, snowmobiling, and snowshoeing. Carow Park is around the corner, offering a swimming beach on Grand Portage Lake, a playground, baseball fields, a picnic area, and annual events ranging from the Fourth of July Celebration to the Lions Ice Fishing Jamboree.

The property is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, where you can stroll along the treeline with your first cup of coffee and watch your kids play on summer afternoons. There's a gas grill for family barbecues and a firepit for evening ghost stories. The outdoor gazebo serves as an additional place to hang out and sports a small bar area, TV, and a window air-conditioning unit to keep you cool during the warmer months.

Inside, the house is open and spacious, with a wood-burning fireplace greeting you as you step through the door. Enjoy an enormous sectional with room for the entire family, a smart TV for cozy movie nights, and a dining area for homemade meals and after-dinner board games. The adjacent kitchen is equipped with every essential, including stainless steel appliances and a prep island.

At night, leave the day's clothes to spin in the washer/dryer, log onto the high-speed WiFi to send a few emails, and retreat downstairs for games and DVDs in the den. Of the bedrooms, three are on the main floor (including a primary bedroom with a TV) and two are downstairs.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.

Security camera details: There are two active Ring cameras, one overlooking the driveway and one overlooking the backyard. Both are located above the access doors.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
