Landhaus mit plätscherndem Bach und Teichblick - Minuten zum Berkshire East Resort

Das Haus mit 3 Schlafzimmern, das als Flight's End bekannt ist, kann am Tag (mindestens zwei Tage), am Wochenende, in der Woche oder im Monat gemietet werden. Ideal für einen romantischen Kurzurlaub oder einen Familienurlaub im Freien. Kein Partyhaus. 15 Minuten nach Charlemont, Ashfield und Shelburne Falls. Eine Stunde nach Amherst, North Adams, Pittsfield.

Das Haus liegt an einem Bach und auf der anderen Straßenseite von einem privaten Teich (nicht zum Schwimmen geeignet). Fünfzehn Minuten nach Berkshire East für Ski- und Zip Line-Touren oder Zoar Outdoor und Crabapple Rafting für Rafting, Kajakfahren, Klettern, Zip Line-Touren usw. Kenneth Dubuque State Forest ist 5 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Gut zum Wandern, Radfahren, Reiten, Langlaufen und Schneemobilfahren.

Ziehen Sie einen Liegestuhl hinüber zum Teich, holen Sie sich ein Glas Wein und beobachten Sie die Possen der Gänse, Enten und vielleicht eines Bibers, während die Sonne hinter dem Teich untergeht. In dem plätschernden Bach gibt es Orte, an denen Kinder in einem alten Schwimmbecken spielen, Minnows fangen und Staumauern bauen können. Haus bietet Platz für 8 bis 2 Zimmer mit Doppelbetten, ein Zimmer mit einem Queensize-Bett und Etagenbetten sowie eine ausklappbare Couch im Untergeschoss für junge Leute.

Neue Ausstattung und Einrichtung: Das Haus verfügt über eine neue Energy Star-Waschmaschine, einen Trockner, einen Geschirrspüler und neue Teppichböden im Wohn- und Esszimmer. Wi-Fi-Sat-Internet ist verfügbar und reicht in den Hinterhof und in die nahe gelegenen Teich- und Bachbereiche.
Wir haben einen neuen Gasgrill, eine kleine Feuerstelle und einen klappbaren Picknicktisch mit vielen Außenstühlen. Mitsubishi Wärmepumpe für Wärme und AC wurde 2017 hinzugefügt.

Quiet stay by the babbling brook

Had a wonderful time with the family on the beautiful pond in Hawley. The sunshine and wildlife was great to wake up to and the neighborhood was the perfect quiet getaway.

2nd Time, Just as Charming

This was our second time visiting Flight's End and it was just as delightful as the first. There was a new sofa and everything else was just as we remembered. We took advantage of the quaint surrounding towns for some shopping and lunch, had a fire in the fire pit and enjoyed the coziness of the home.

Flights End is a wonderful oasis

Just as pictured

My partner and I were in MA to drop our eldest at Smith College for their first year. We chose Flight's End for the location and the fact that we were allowed to bring our pups with us. It was incredibly peaceful and just what we needed during an otherwise emotional time with such a big transition for our family.

Great relaxing stay

We had a wonderful couple of days relaxing here. The kids found plenty to do between the pond and canoe, brook, and fields.We visited the nearby Mohawk Trail State Forest and enjoyed it. Everything we needed was available, and the house was very clean.

Lovely Setting!

The house is on a very quiet and lovely setting. The “pond room” is the perfect place to enjoy the many species of birds (we saw/heard about 25 different species!) that visit the pond across the road. The house is lovely and cozy, stocked with everything we needed to eat, sleep and shower. You have to close the shower curtain completely, or the water will leak and cause it to “rain” in the dining room. That was the only setback. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would stay again.

Peaceful Getaway

Flight's End was more wonderful than we anticipated. The home is cozy with all the things you need for a relaxing visit. We enjoyed the beauty of the area, the excitement of the pond (kayaking, otters, beavers and ducks) and took some of the helpful suggestions of our hosts. We will definitely be bac!

Weekend Getaway at Flight's End

Although brief, our stay at Flight's End was fantastic. The home was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. We really enjoyed the beautiful pond view and surrounding countryside. It all made for a wonderful weekend.

Great location!

We loved the location! The property was beautiful! Loved the pond & wildlife. The house was just like the photos. 3 comfortable bedrooms, and bare mattresses in the basement. (We all enjoyed the upstairs bedrooms.) The only bummer was that the washing machine was broken.... which was one of the reasons we chose this house, since we were in town for work and needing to wash our work clothes throughout our stay.

Even though we did not spend daytime in the house, the night celestial view was breathtaking. I don’t remember seeing so many stats ever, and the shooting star sighting was worth the mosquito bites. We hope to return soon. Thank you !

Pleasant stay in a tranquil setting

Property was as described. Clean, well appointed. Very quiet and serene area and neighborhood. Pond just across the street is nice to look at but tremendous amount of canadian geese droppings made walking anywhere near it unpleasant.

Beautiful and quiet country setting but the home's furnishings are dingy and dated. The kitchen faucet leaked the entire time we were there. Notes on what to do or not do were all over the house which was a bit annoying. The expectation that we were to strip beds and do laundry when we left was too much. The beds in the musty unfinished basement should not be listed as possible sleeping locations.

Amazing place!

A few friends and I went to this place over the weekend and fell in love. The place is just perfect for about 8 people or so. With 4 bedrooms, and living room, kitchen, and dinning space it's like going away to a house. The owner gave us full privacy but was within hands reach. The view was breath-taking. With a stream in the back, and a pond right across the house. Perfect fire pit place for a little evening bonfire. It's an amazing place for a get away.

Quiet and Comfortable

If you want a quiet getaway this place is great. Bring a large frying pan and a sharpe knife. Everything else for cooking in is there. We were comfortable using the first and second floor bedrooms. We did not use the basement sleeping quarters. The house had excellent information for restaurants and things to do in the area. I gave it five stars because we got exactly what we wanted.

Lovely stay!

The family had a lovely stay over labor day weekend - we really enjoyed canoeing the pond and enjoying the outdoors. The weather was fantastic, so we were able to get out and about - the nearby state park had some great hiking. For those of you with little ones, they do have a toddler bed and a pack and play (as well as a play set the one-year-old adored)- although the place isn't childproof. Because there were large spaces between the stair railings, we moved the toddler bed to the pond room to avoid having the three year old take a wrong turn in the middle of the night.

Country home away from it all. 3 adequate bedrooms. Kitchen supplies except for salt and pepper. Couldn’t figure out how to use the television, even with instructions. A book of house “ RULES “ that would choke a horse. I felt like I was back in the army

My grandparents bought the property in Hawley in the 1920. I spent summers in Hawley as a youth. The family built this house in the 1980s and my kids grew up spending vacations there. Now the grandkids and young cousins come to visit. We want others to enjoy the house and the location as much as we do! My daughter is taking over the property, so we'll continue to host in the future.

I built this house for my parents to live in and planned to retire into it when they no longer needed it. I retired while they were still in it and I bought the house of my aunt and uncle, just up the road.

My cousin lives next door to me and just up the road from this rental house. He is a wealth of information about the area and the countryside. He'll be sure to stop by if you are outside.

What is unique about this area is its quiet - no stores, no street lights. But there is plenty of wildlife: ducks and geese, turkeys, moose, bear, deer, rabbits, hawks, foxes, loons, beaver, and coyotes. You get the idea, I think. The stars are very bright at night and the brook can be heard from far away. Trees, stone walls, ponds and streams abound. Hawley's population is a whopping 320 hearty souls. Just sitting and enjoying the sights and sounds of nature is rejuvenating.
