This 6 bedroom, 5 bathroom newly refurbished home on 2.3 acres abuts a brook & conservation land and is the perfect destination for a White Mountain family ski trip or summer getaway. 6 bedrooms (4 with King beds), including 2 master suites with private bathrooms, sleeps 16 adults. Comfortable furniture, mattresses, & fresh linens. Best game room in town with ping pong, video arcade game with 1,100 games & 65" TV. Living room with gas fireplace, outdoor fire pit, and less than 2 miles to town.
The space
We maintain a 16-adult-guest maximum. NO PARTIES OR EVENTS. WE HAVE A GOOD NEIGHBOR POLICY. PLEASE FOLLOW the RULES for FIRE PIT SAFETY and CHECK OUT.
You will have private use of the main home including the 3-car garage. Additionally, the home has all furnishings throughout, including linens and new kitchen amenities. We also have 12 smoke/co2 detectors throughout the house.
In between guests, our cleaners clean and disinfect all common surfaces and we replace all pillows and blankets/comforters for a rental cycle to minimize risk of infections. We have also added two large air filters in the living room/kitchen and Game Room.
The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils but we clean out all food items because of the pandemic so bring whatever you need for cooking like spices, oil, condiments, etc. There is a large supermarket about 10 minutes away by car. When you leave, please take any food items with you because everything is discarded by the cleaners.
We have installed a 14-50 outlet in the garage for electric car charging. It is 240 volts and it easily charges cars overnight. In addition, we have a Tesla dedicated charger.
We do not allow smoking or pets. No exceptions, please. Some family members have severe allergic reactions.
There is a small owner’s area in the house with a separate entrance. You will not have access to this area. It will be occupied during your stay by our caretaker as required by local laws. She will not access the house during your stay.
DISCOUNTS-
We offer a 10% discount for rentals of seven nights or longer.
PARKING-
Absolutely no parking on the road. The road and bridge are narrow and your car will be towed if it is parked on the road.
We are about one mile to Mt. Cranmore and less than two miles to North Conway village.
Guest access
Besides a few locked closets, the basement, and the caretaker's area, all of the house is available.
The first floor and wrap-around deck are ramp accessible and the first floor master bedroom suite has a walk-in shower and shower chair. We have accommodated guests with wheelchairs and walkers in the past.
The house has a caretaker's area, with a separate entrance, that will be occupied during your stay. If you have any issues during your stay, the fastest way to reach us is to contact us through the app.
There is a treehouse on the property that has been locked and is not accessible to renters.
Other things to note
Please read our house manual since we have a lot of useful information which you will probably need at some point during your stay. The house manual is available once you have booked.
We have two outdoor nest cameras facing the street and the parking area for security.
The home is located on a small brook with an area damned up downstream. Please supervise young children. We also have a fire pit near the deck which should only be used under adult supervision.
We have several hiking books, trail maps, and nature guides which we ask you to leave for the next guests.
