Situated right across the street from Sugar Mountain at Snowlake Condominiums, this three-level condo pairs tranquil views with a prime location that's walkable to ski slopes, outdoor skating rink, snow tubing, mountain biking, hiking, golfing and tennis courts. Downtown Banner Elk’s shops and restaurants are an easy drive away.

At home, your private deck offers the perfect spot for morning coffee, evening cocktails or alfresco dining - all with a golf course view for a backdrop. Have a seat in the porch swing on the downstairs deck and spend the afternoon with a good book. Inside, you’ll find an
open layout and lots of room to gather. The chef will appreciate the modern kitchen, outfitted with stainless steel appliances and plenty of counter space. When it's time to dine, grab a seat at the eight-person table. Spend evenings snuggled up in front of the gas fireplace. Entertainment options include five streaming-capable TVs, free cable, and WiFi. Four well-appointed bedrooms will soothe you to sleep, with three of the four offering ensuite bathrooms and the primary bedroom offering direct deck access. First class lodging right next to the slopes

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a really nice 3 level apartment with plenty of sleeping rooms with great dining and entertainment amenities, however, it is slightly marred by the following:1) The hot water isn't that hot and doesn't last all that long.2) The heat can be sketchy. The main level heat is nicely covered by a gas fireplace BUT without instructions we didn't know how to use it and had to call in for someone to come. Each bedroom has an individual thermostat (nice) BUT the two downstairs rooms struggled to maintain even 70 degrees. And finally no one turned the heat on for us, so it was a freezing 50 degrees when we arrived.----Now some good things to say.The top master bedroom is a dream and the other room sleeps 4 people individually. Really great for singles.The kitchen is wonderful.

Fantastic for 10

Location was fantastic. Had plenty of room for the entire group. We parked our cars with all our equipment Across the street in the Sugar Mountain parking lot as it was slightly closer than walking from the house. Could not recommend this place enough.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property is the perfect location for skiing, tubing, and ice skating. Checking in was easy and we received a text when our place was ready with check in instructions. The gas fireplace was a great amenity that quickly got warm. Definitely recommend PUERTO NUEVO for mexican food, only minutes away. We also enjoyed Banner Elk Cafe and playing trivia on Thursday night. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay and we will be coming back next season.

Nora's Sweat Escape - Sugar Mountain

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, a decent place to stay. The hot water takes about 10 to 15 minutes to come up in the sinks, so long that I called maintenance thinking it was not working. The heat in the unit is also challenging, especially on the main floor and bottom floor. The bottom floor was set on 55 degrees when we arrived so took about a day to heat up to normal temps and main floor doesn't seem to have a thermostat. The managing company was responsive and helpful. The location of the unit is great, it's a bit of an uphill walk to the ski slopes, but worth it.

Reviewer Comments: The location was amazing- first time to Sugar Mountain and with this was definitely one of the best locations. Drivers don’t stop for you at night and the stairs to get the ski parking lot across the street aren’t lit and a bit of trip hazard. The pictures of the rental really don’t do it justice, it’s not as old as it looks. The only thing lacking was any kind of bath supplies at all.

Great Family Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family (2 adults, 3 kids) spent a week here and had an amazing time. Easy walk to the slopes, snow tubing, and ice skating - we skiied for a week and never got back in the car except to make grocery store runs. House was comfortable, had everything we needed except food (of course) and was well kept. Only issue we had was the water being out one day but that was because of a water main break and not the fault of the property management. We reported it and they kept us up to date as the Utility worked on repairs. We would definitely stay again.

NICE UNIT BUT HOT

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Townhouse was nice and spacious. We thought one room had 2 single beds but it did have bunk beds. Little different for the two adults in that room but it worked. All the appliances, plates and cups, pots and pans weer available for use. The location was close to the golf course and close to a shopping store for groceries. Loads of space for the family. Beds were comfortable. One downside was there was no AC. And as we're from the south we need AC. They had a fan in the unit but upstairs was very hot even with the ceiling fan. We also, never got a text to give us the entry code and never recived and the office is closed on Saturdays for checkin. We did have an emergency line we had to call to get the information. But it took a while to get and have access to the unit. Overall we had a good experience.

Accommodations at Real Estate Rentals was fantastic. Our rental unit was literally only short walking distance to the snow tubing attraction. The unit itself was clean, stocked fairly well with necessary kitchen and bathroom supplies. It was really nice to have four separate bathrooms especially for 8 people. I would recommend using this rental property.

The condo was very clean, comfortable furniture and in walking distance to skiing, golfing and tennis. My family of 7 and I were celebrating my grandson's birthday and high school graduation. With it being the Christmas season it was a wonderful surprise to have a beautiful Christmas tree greet us when we arrived. The house was decorated beautifully for Christmas. We will be staying here again.
